Christmas Countdown - 2010

HEY EVERYBODY!!! You know...I was sitting down to watch an episode of Ally McBeal from the second season (a gift my Mom gave me for Thanksgiving...just for being "a good daughter". I just love my Mom!!!). Anyway...the scene opened up showing the street with snow lightly falling to the ground...decorations in the store windows...Christmas lights hanging throughout the street - and I thought, "Man...its almost Christmas!!! I gotta get back to MMC!!!"

Soon...that scene I just describe will be just outside our front door!

Everything is going well - and things have been much better. A lot of work involved (which is why I'm not here much) - but oh so worth it!

I've been quite sick for over a week now. I've got bronchitis that just is not getting any better. I'm afraid to suspect that I may have some form of pneumonia. I've been to the doctor's twice already - but may have to go back tomorrow. I'll wait to see how I feel.

Oh...13 more days until the next long weekend for me! YA! Its the weekend our Christmas Tree and decorations go up!!! Can you believe it? I JUST CANNOT WAIT!!!

Anyway...I've missed you guys - and I will make a better effort to be here more. This place just makes me happy. Yes...VERY happy!!!

Beaver Cleaver's Mother died!.....

Yes, Barbara Billingsly. I saw that in our paper this morning. She would have been 95 in December.
Sad.

I believe she was related by marriage to Peter Billingsly (Ralphie in "A Christmas Story").

LOL, you would think. However know i work at one of the IT people for a plant that makes Nissan, Honda and volkswagen parts.

Went to Wal-Mart to see if the Egg Nog came in yet, and NO it hasn't, but I did find a Christmas tree that plugs into my USB port on the computer and changes colors. Woo Hoo! Christmas at work.

WOW my wal-mart around have had Eggnog since 1st of Oct.

My husband is actually LOVES the mall (he grew up in the city so shopping was done in town - no malls!!) but he has all these home projects planned so I have to drag him away! And as much as he loves Christmas, he rolls his eyes when I tell him I want to go browse the displays, hehe!!

Ohhh! I misread "bug him" meant he don't like going. Lol! It's good he enjoys it. =)

Well its been a few days so just wanted to say hi. Been working 16-18 hours each day and been so tired that i have not got on. So hopefully monday i will be able to show up some more. Be safe all and have a great day and night.

Today I get to go to my oldest friend, who lives only an hour away, but we're both so busy we only see each other once a month! Had an amazing weekend, went to see my grandparents, my grandfather and my boyfriends grandmother! I'm so grateful for them!
