Christmasstar- Is it possible you might be able to turn those fans down to medium? It is getting a bit chilly here with a temperature of 44 degrees and 20mph winds.

A week that will see us safely to Halloween and the threshhold of a new month.
That month being November.
That's right -- November. The month of Thanksgiving and.......the month when CHRISTMAS SEASON 2010 WILL COMMENCE!!

Days to the Season: 19
Days to Christmas Day: 61
Wow. Nineteen! (That sounds so much less than 20, doesn't it?)
And two weeks from today our special pre-Season posts begin.
(Are you ready, Christmasstar, Binger, Maureen, Auntie and Seawaters?)
If that isn't enough, Christmas Day itself is exactly 2 months from today!
(Feel better now about it being Monday?)

Overcast here with a strong chance of rain.
We stand currently at 65 degrees.

cheesy I've been ready since about the day after I got the nod! I did a wee edit last weekend so it's all ready to go HOHOHO!

This is my Friday! Kroger grocery store has a mini Halloween carnival every year. I have took my kids to it when they were little and now my grandkids. They set up games throughout the grocery store and the kids can win prizes, cakes and candy. It's free and we always have fun! I enjoy it as much as they do. We might go to it today.

:rudolph: I'm trying to catch up in here, but the thread sure has grown since last Sunday.

O'Malley the cat sunk his two fangs into the back of my skull for no reason that I know of other than he might have wanted to sit on the couch. He just waltzed along the back of the couch and chomped down. He ruined the last ten minutes of "Sleeping with the Enemy" for me.

I've had cluster migraines all week since it happened. I had to stay awake until one spot stopped seeping blood. When I finally went to bed, I tried to keep one eye open. It still aches, but hopefully tonight my pillow won't sound like giant rice krispies in my ear.

Uggh. Who wants to buy a feral cat?

:-? I hear your grrrr loud and clear. Raccoons fighting sound horrible too, but cats can go on and on and sound like creatures from another planet.

Hope you're on the mend soon. Not to put a damper on things, but that's a pain that doesn't go away soon enough.

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! It has been a long day here. I started working early this morning and while I was out I ran into my ex-fiancee. I haven't seen or talked to her since the night I caught her hanging all over her ex boyfriend at the movies when she had told me she was in chicago. That was 5 and a half years ago. When she saw me today she came running up to me and gave me a hug and told me how much she has missed me. All I could think about was the $2000 dollar ring I threw across a parking lot after having my heart ripped out.(Do you know how many santas I could have bought with $2000) She is married now with 2 kids but she said that she wished we could be friends again. She gave me her phone number and told me to call her. We were best friends from the time we met and I have missed that friendship over the last 5 years but I don't know if it would ever work again. She caused me alot of pain and I don't think that I could ever get past that. After my run in with her I got kind of depressed. So I went to see my nieces. They had a smile back on my face in no time. Then it was off to do some christmas shopping. I found a few more gifts for my mom but I still don't really have any good ideas for my aunt. Everytime I ask her for ideas she says that she don't care so she might just end up with a gift card. Now I am going to kick back and watch some tv. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
That's a difficult situation Made. Not sure I'd trust an ex especially an unfaithful ex. I remember an old childhood friend of mine was watching a ball game about ten years ago on TV and discovered his wife was cheating on him. Imagine she was caught on camera all lovey dovey in the stands at the game with someone else. It was really embarrassing for him because he obviously wasn't the only one watching the game so nearly the whole town knew about it.

Hope the Christmas fix and visiting the nieces helped you forget the pain a bit.

Awww...Made. I am so sorry, my dear Christmas friend that you have had such heartache. Keep your chin up !!! A good guy like you is bound to find his Christmas soulmate sooner or later !!! Made, friend, I had almost the exact same thing happen to me about a year ago. Only difference is I'm the one who is married. I still remember that pain like it was yesterday though....but if I wouldn't have gone through that I wouldn't have made it to my wife...and I wouldn't trade that beautiful woman for anything. She wanted to be friends, but I just didn't think that would be wise. I forgive her....don't get me wrong, but I only am friends with people I know I can trust.

Hi, I've missed you guys!!! I think of you all everytime I'm at work (Macy's) & I see the decorations coming up bit by bit!!!

I've been far too busy to even think about posting on here...I hope that changes soon
