These are the times that I cherish. We just got done cooking at out my parents, the kids are coming down the street, and we are all sitting and visiting. I said this last year but I'm going to say it again...Halloween is like getting rid of all the evil that goes on in this world.....almost like it is all getting up and departing, because tomorrow the greatest feeling in the world starts. Everyone starts to talk about Christmas. That's right. Christmas.

Man oh man....I love this time of year. Going out to visit. See y'all later!

they is a yearly fair directly on the market place of our city...it is there til sunday....and makes time a lil shorter for christmas........it is because of today s holiday....All Saints.......I am so so so happy and christmassy today

Visited my Grandparents, they are doing well my Grandpa has a prosthetic leg and is doing well with it.

I am glad to hear that he is doing well with his prosthetic!!!

been out trick or treating with Kandice and with niece yesterday....Halloween is still in the kid s shoes over here.....but it was double as much then it was last year....more kids around, more people giving out candy.....so Kandi and her cousin each got a full bucket of candy....no need to mention that is hard as he++ to get kandi...away from the candy...lol

Good morning! and Happy November!

Just sitting here wearing my A Christmas Story t-shirt and eating my Rice Krispies and OJ listening to Music Choice, which I have been listening to since 7am, I am loving it! I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween, we sure did. I have already done some Halloween un-decorating just a bit more to do now, and tomorrow, I will probably start stringing up the lights and garland around the inside of the house first. I saw the new LED lights for this year yesterday and the clear lights have a warm glow like the regular minis, and they now have C7 and C9 versions that look like the real deal. I am so excited, the best time of the year is just about here!

Good Morning Everyone and Happy November 1st!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a great time handing out candy at my sisters house last night. She had 114 kids this year. That is down from the 130 she had last year. My nieces looked great in their costumes. The oldest one dressed up as a princess and the youngest one as minnie mouse. I don't have much planned for today. I think I will head out to see what stores are putting out christmas stuff today or at least see what kind of candy I can find marked down. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

DD had a great Halloween this year. More trick-or-treating and candy that she's ever gotten before. Now that Halloween is over, she knows Thanksgiving & Christmas are on the way. Tonight I'll put away our few Halloween things. I don't having Thanksgiving decor, but I wish I did. I have plans every weekend now until January 8th. Let the wonderfully crazy season begin!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's finally November! Now I hope things start slowing down a little. I'd like to next 2 months to last at least 6 months. I noticed the leaves are starting to fall off of our pecan trees. That's a good sign!

We could use a little rain. I've had to start watering our driveway to keep the dust down...LOL!

I am sooo glad that Halloween is done with. The last 2 weeks have been nothing but decoration and cleaning and cooking. And Saturday night was our Halloween party. Every year I tell my wife, "nobody is going to show up" and this year we must have had 150 people through our house. It was insane. Did the cleaning up thing yesterday.

Right now I am waiting for my big brother to come over. It's that Christmas light hanging time!!! I won't turn them on until other people in the neighbourhood do most likely but we are going to try to get them all up today. I love it! I am so exhausted, but I will rest when this is done.

AHHHH its November! Where did the time go?!? I can't believe we're so close to the holiday season. I'm contemplating buying a small tree to put in my little apartment lol!

This year I dressed up for Halloween, I've never done that before. I was Wilma Flintstone I went downtown to Savannah & had a blast, you wouldn't believe some of the things I saw! Now I'm up & at 'em going to class today. I'm off work today so I'm gonna get some much needed classwork done AND try to catch up on here!

Good Afternoon Christmas Pals,

Brisk and sunny day for the first day of November here in NJ. It seems for the most part, everyone has enjoyed their halloween celebrations and now everyone is ready to move into full Christmas mode. I agree. Only 12 more days to the start of the season (11/13) and that is when my tree goes up. The outside lights and decorations go up the following day. The time is almost here. I am so excited for all of us. The time of the year we have been waiting for and finally the rest of the world seems to be catching up with us. The malls are decorated and Santa is arriving this coming weekend at the mall near me. Oh goodness, the most wonderful time of the year is upon us, and I can hardly contain myself.
