You remember all that and not the grandfather clock? Also there was the old Mickey Mouse Club. Then as well in afternoons reruns of Three Stooges, Our Gang, and Little Rascals. Here In the Kansas City area we had Whizzo. Whizzo went on the air when I was born in 1954 so needless to say grew up with him.

Then we had Howdy Doodie and Buffalo Bob Smith. Not sure what things I had the most of Howdy Doody or Whizzo. Funtimes back then wish I still had some of those things to admire. Going to do some digging Whizzo did some kind of a Christmas movie or special. Just what I need a note for another to do project.
Yep, vague memories of Captain Kangaroo but remember some of it. cheesy Like I said, I was really young when I watched it. I also go on what my mom tells me about how much I loved the show.

I watched the reruns of Three Stooges and The Little Rascals when I was a kid. I still love watching The Three Stooges!

Howdy Doodie and Buffalo Bob Smith was before my time so I never watched that. Not sure if they ever showed reruns of those when I was a kid.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention but they did air the old Mickey Mouse club and I would watch that sometimes. cheesy

Never missed the Captain and his Treasure House.
Remember Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Moose, Dancing Bear and Grandfather Clock?

Yes! And when I was five, for my birthday I got the LP of the Captain narrating "Peter and the Wolf." I still have it. (I may have digitized it---I don't remember.)

Evening Friends, Tree is still up. Hope everyone is doing well this evening. I am feeling a bit low, having financial difficulties. Those kinds of difficulties usually challenge my creativity and resourcefulness. But this too shall pass.
I changed careers ( licensed practical nurse to Special Ed teacher) I graduated last may from college and am finding out about the nepotism and the difficulties that arise when seeking full time teaching positions. Humbug!!

Anybody doing anything fun this weekend?:snowball:
