Well I didn't know about the QVC thing in July since I never watch it. Guess I will add to my list of things to do this summer maybe.

Sorry if I freak anyone on the high heat settings. Just know it's very hard on you and doctors will back that one. Just being honest a bad side about me sometimes.

Good evening Christmas folk,

Work was busy, and now the wipers on our van won't work, they are either frozen or broken. I counted 31 houses that still have Christmas lights on, including one tree in a window. (no it wasn't mine) Back to work tomorrow morning.

One thing I do hate about cold weather is how things seem to break or act up.

Least you had lights to look at that alone would make the drive ok for me wipers or not. LOL I'm probably only one in this town with a tree full of lights in the window.

Good Friday morning all, well our little love bird that my wife told you all was sick died last night. Pretty sad around here, especially since he seemed like he was getting better. The last time I saw him alive was when I took my shower after getting home from work, and he was wheezing a little, but seemed fine otherwise. My wife went out to see him and came back very upset and said he is dying. We both went in and he was gone. We had a little funeral for him in our back yard and buried him. He was 17 years old, which is a long life for a love bird. Her 20 year old son was 3 when she got him. He used to love perching on our finger then walking up our arm and standing on our shoulder, then chirping very loud in our ear. He will be missed.:sad:

I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers are with both of you right now.

I bought a Kindle tonight at Best Buy (had a gift card from Christmas) and am charging it up. I'll let you all know what I think when I have it up and running.

good morning my friends...didnt make it on here for a few days...but haven forgotten you ....the river that runs right beside my place almost swapped over.....in the end...it was 10 cm lower than forecasted....5,75......at 5,80 it woulda overflowed.....it didnt.....so I am very happy

Good morning all. I am not feeling too well today, I feel like I am coming down with a cold, but I also have some things on my mind. I am a little worried about some stuff going on with me health wise, I am not going into detail right now, but if what's going on doesn't stop soon, I will have to go to the doctor to get it checked out. I am trying not to worry about it too much, but I can't help it, I didn't sleep too well last night either.

I was going to Niagara Falls with a friend today, (she had to pick up some stuff she ordered ) but looking at the snow coming down and reading the road reports, I know we should not go.

So instead, I will sit at home and make flowers for my mom;s 80th birthday cake. Her party is next weekend.

Seeing all these snowy pictures is depressing, as its not snowing here! Its amazing how seeing a picture like the one above can make you feel all christmassy and wintery. Still 303 days to season, 303 days till the season, 303 days, 303 days.......

I have mine at 68 if at 78 I'd not only die but be sick due to sinus passages cracking and bleeding.

You didn't freak me out at all! Lol! I have sinus issues too when the heat is on too high.

Just stopping by quickly before going to work, I have Christmas on my mind, I think all I dreamed about last night was Christmas lights and Christmas trees, the trees like the ones in A Charlie Brown Christmas in the tree lot all different colors and stuff. I swear I am not addicted cheesy
