According to weather.com we have more snow coming in today!

We have a busy day today. Wayne and I are starting our first day as deacons serving communion and collecting offering. I feel a little "stage fright" walking up and down the aisle but it will be ok. cheesy

Then off to work I go.

I will be home just in time for the Super Bowl.

Good Morning, My Super Friends!

Yes, we will be hearing that word alot today.
Let's just hope the game is as "super" as it's billing.
I am a Packers fan from way back.
(And I mean WAAAAY back. Think Bart Starr and Vince Lombardi.)
But the Steelers are a fine, old-time traditional team too.
Be it a good game or not, it should at least be a "classic"!

OK, on to the daily count:
Days to the Season: 280
Days to Christmas Day: 322
UNDER a week now until the 25 percent Season Milestone!
(Really starting to close in on that one.)

Another sunny but cold one here in the capital city.
We started out in the mid-30's several hours ago and have only improved to 41 so far.
It is supposed to reach the mid 50's today but I'll believe it when I see it.

I tend to be a Packers supporter also though my main interest is the commercials !! I can't wait to see the one with Justin Bieber and Ozzy !!

Thanks for what you said about Carl and Narnia. I just finished The Magician's Nephew and I can tell you, I think Carl is DEFINITELY of Nanian lineage !!! At least in my mind that is where he is going to be from !!

Good Morning Christmas Pals, Havent been on in the last few days , been in a funk of sorts and just feeling so blah and too down to do anything. I am going to force myself out of it and reconnect with life. What a better day to do it but on Super Bowl Sunday. Say, are we readyyyy forrr sommmeee footballl!! The mood here in western pa, 5o miles from Pittsburgh, is beyond electric. We are all looking forward to the prospect of "7" trophies . My "stiller" flag is flyin high outside !! Its going to be a great game, I saw on tv the other day that this game could end up being the most watched superbowl in superbowl history. I believe the commentator attributed that to the overall popularity of both teams nationwide.

Well I hope everyone is doing well, missed you all. will be back later !!

I hear you. I too am frequently in a "funk" and very down so I completely understand and empathize as well as sympathize. We all love you here and as long as Christmas exists, we both have hope that the future is bright !! xo

Binger....we don't exchange cards b/c we are high school, but this year we are starting a new tradition. We are taking these cards and taking them to the Nursing Home and Sr. Citizens center for the people who made our community what it is. My kids at school are very excited! I'm trying to teach about paying back....or paying forward, if you will....about living a life of service to others. Hopefully, it will catch on.

What a beautiful day it is turning out to be! about 55F and sunny for a change! If that groundhog was right(i forget his/her name!) this time in a month I may just see some blooms on my trees! last year it was late march/early april though so I won't get my hopes up!

Thank you so much for those very kind words!!! It did go well today, thankfully they realize we are rookies at it, and they provided great guidence. Our Pastor also told us how proud he was to see us serving as Deacons. We both love our Pastor, he is a great guy and an awesome speaker, not boring at all.

Pretty slow day in here so far I see. Must be the pregame show, I am planning on avoiding the Super Bowl at all costs, being a Bengals fan has pretty much ruined football for me. No luck finding that elusive roof rake yet. Did the grocery shopping and other errands earlier. I hope everyone is having a good day.

Santa is frozen to the ground and will probably be there until spring when the thaw finally happens. He may be able to greet the Easter bunny at this rate.

I tried to find one yesterday. Online I discovered that none were in stock within a 50-mile radius at Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart. I checked Amazon, thinking maybe I could order one online and get expedited shipping, but---all either out of stock, or "ships in 1 to 2 months." Anyone around here with a roof rake can write their own ticket. Thank goodness we have a friend who was able to come over yesterday and get up onto the roof to push some of the snow and ice off.

Good evening Christmas family


Not too much going on with me. I just finished working on a Christmas jigsaw that I am TRYING to put together !! I swear, not enough brains to figure out a puzzle.......:-?

Anyway, I have Puppy Bowl on. I JUST LOVE seeing all these little ones playing. I would take each and every one if I could to be an addition to my furbabies !! My personal favorite puppy this year is Two Face...So cute !!!
