Christmas Countdown - 2011

It is supposed to be 60 degrees here today. That means two things: spring fever...and maybe finally we'll get a storm later this week. While most the country seems to be having an epic winter we're very bored here. Our mountains have snow and the skiing is great but my kids are dying to make a snowman and haven't been able to do it this year.

I woke up in the middle of the night with a swollen sore throat and other cold symptoms. Ugh! I am drinking my fresh veggie juice and I hope after breakfast I will feel well enough to hop on the treadmill.

Hi everyone,

The temp is rising by the day here in London town, 10 degress C tommorow apprently. It is still rather cold in the evenings though!

This weekend will mark the first of the year when I start watching christmas films again, not sure what to start the movie countdown with though! Any tips??

Just getting home from work and im pooped! I may have had one too many glasses of wine last night! I usually drink a glass of red wine every now and then,but I had a few last night..I have got to get back into good shape..I have probably gained 10 pounds over winter and I am not running on a regular basis like I do in the spring summer and fall.I hope everyone has a great afternoon and evening! one more day closer to xmas,and I will be glad when the countdown gets below 300!!!!

Well, today marked the 100th day of school, 80 more school days until summer vacation. My son's school celebrated the 100th day today with a little party. If school wasn't canceled 7 times due to snow it would have been 1.5 weeks ago. The numbers keep dwindling, were getting closer to the BIG day! :???:

YES! I love that movie. I watch it multiple times around Christmas and during the summer. They need to make a National Lampoons Christmas Reunion with all the cast coming back for another Christmas vacation!!!

Good afternoon, Christmas family.

Just sitting here in my "perpetual coma" or at least it feels like that since starting nights cheesy . The new job is good in some aspects and not so good in others, which is the way of life, right ? The good things are that I NEVER run out of work, the platform I work from is really easy. The bad things are that the dictations are MUCH, MUCH more difficult to understand AND the lines are a bit harder to accumulate. Oh well. The grass is never really greener. I believe this is a much better company and I have been reading via the web that my old company STILL doesn't have much work.

I just hope it all smooths out. I am on probation for 3 months so I don't want to do anything wrong.

CM3,i can relate so much to working night shift because I worked it for nearly 2 years! some things were good,some others not. but you will soon get use to it and you will get the hang of it in no time!I hope you get use to it soon just hang in there and we will be here for you to cheer you along!!:

I got a call from a trucking company!!!!
They like my resume and just need to check out my driving records and will call me with in 48 hours!
After that I do 2 weeks of pre hire testing and then I will know if I actually get hired. cheesy

Winter is not over yet, we will have more cold days ahead.

We need 5 more inches of snow here in central Indy to break the record for the most snow in a season. So I could go for one more snow to break the record but right now they are calling for temperatues in the 50's for the next 7 days. We have already broken one record with 67 days below freezing this winter.

Good evening folks! I took a nap which I never do in the middle of the day! hope I'm not up all night! I bet most of you have noticed I keep up with the weather,with my job I have to follow weather reports because I work in Air traffic control,so I follow all the long range models that the meteorologist get thier weather reports from and right now the long range models predict a mid atlantic/Northeast snow storm in about 2 weeks,and that is getting me excited,although the long range models can be very wrong it is something I am keeping an eye on! I hope everyone is having a good night!

I hated valentines day at school when I was growing up because I was one of the have nots. I was badly teased and bullied (that was back when the attitude was, "they will work it out, just leave them alone")

I was picked on a bit in elementary and middle school for being heavy but nothing really bad. I played football and wrestled so I was friends with alot of the kids. What little bit I did get stopped one day when another boy slapped my sister across the face in front of me and I proceeded to teach him that he shouldn't pick on girls.

It took my brother in law about 3 weeks to get used to working 3rd shift. I am sure you will get used to it soon!!!cheesy
