Funny, I dreamed about snakes last week.

The drive into work was scary, going up a hill my tires were spinning, and going around a curve someone was stopped making a left turn, my car was not stopping, and I was going 10 mph below speed limit, I used a snowbank to stop my car. Talk about an adrenaline rush first thing in the morning.

For the first time since I started nights I was able to really rest today and actually woke up not tired which is something that NEVER happened when I was working days.

Does anyone know anything about joint problems ? The index finger of my left hand right at the first part of the joint has become EXTREMELY red and swollen with all the typing. While the swelling and pain do go away with rest the redness is always there and the joint itself is like deformed now. Does anyone know if this is some form or arthritis or something ?? I know I need to see my doc but I hate to initiate an office visit for a sore finger. Good grief. It is like the joint has just gone crazy. Oh well. If anyone is familiar with conditions like this or can give me a link I would really appreicate it !!

Furchildren are all asleep. Except Smokey. Smokey tends to stay up with me at night. What a sweet little boy. I think he realizes he is the only feline now that Punkin' and Goblin are gone. He tends to talk to me at night if I get up to get a coffee or something. Two of my canine children, Clancy and Wishbone come into the room where I work usually around 3 a.m. or so and climb into bed and that is where they stay until I finish at 7:30 then it is "potty time" and I let them out. Ivy, the Chihuahua, sleeps in the same room with my husband so she doesn't get up until a little later and besides, she is so small and SUCH a diva that she would NEVER resort to that outside potty stuff unless it is sunny and 80 degrees !! She has hre own special papers !!

Good Evening Everyone!!!!!! It was a long day. The storms were so bad last night that I didn't get to sleep until 4am. I was back up at 8 and somehow managed to stay awake all day. It seems like just a few years ago I could stay up for days with just a couple hours of sleep. Now I need at least 6 hours a night or alot of coffee. I called my friend who is the ranger at the scout camp and he said that he has plenty of things he could use help on. So me and my friend are going to head up on wednesday. The weather looks pretty good until friday night so we will probably head home friday afternoon. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember in my early to mid 20's I used to stay up until 4-5AM and be back up at 8 and work a full 9-10 hour shift and stay out that late again that night. Now I can barely function with less than 5.5 hours of sleep. Where did my youth go?

Probably where a lot ours went. I remember one time working on a French paper, going out with my boyfriend, staying up the whole night after the date to finish the paper, going to all my classes the next day, having a date that same night, and getting up the next morning for class. So stupid!! ........But fun!!

Good evening,

Very slow day at work today due to the weather of freezing rain, and rain, but I made it to my day off tomorrow finally. I have a busy day planned, has to do with hair cut, oil change, Taco Bell. I will be solo, with JP at daycare which went great for him today, I am so proud of him, I get some me time for the first time in a looooooong time.

I just saw on my local news that the statehouse is considering a bill that will legalize pot, I am so against drugs, I have never tried any, I don't want to be walking down a street with my children and have someone near us smoking it. I hate the smell, it makes me sick to be near someone who has smoked it. I hope this bill NEVER passes. Sorry about the rant but my wife is sleeping, and I needed to get that off my chest.

Welcome to your 30's!! oh and there will be some more surprises along the way too. I'm 36 and I swear up until 30 I could work all day party all night then be right back up and do it all over again. hang in there! it's just one more cruel reminder that we are moving from the "young adults" phase to (gulp) Middle age!! :snowball

Sorry I am so late to respond Brad,but yes I love Carey Hilliards!! I have not been back to Savannah since I have moved back to Georgia last year,and I keep putting off a trip to go there. Savannah had the best restuarants I would venture to say better than any in Atlanta. Savannah is a 3 hour drive from me all on back roads too so it could be even 4 hours. I need to go back for a weekend,in spring it is amazingly beautiful!! your lucky to be so close!!cheesy

Good morning Christmas friends, I slept awful last night,up every 2 hours looking at the clock thinking it was already time to get up. I got up at midnight and logged on here,got up at 2 and ate some chicken,then finally got up at 4 like I am suppose to! it was raining when I looked outside at 2am. it is a muggy 63F suppose to only get up to 75 as opposed to 85F the last week. Tonight will be back in the 40's and that will feel GOOD. I have only 5 more days until I travel to Boston for 3 weeks,and when I work there I will be able to sleep until 7 that is if I can sleep until 7 without waking up. I will be working later which means hopefully I will be able to stay up later if I can keep my eyes open. I get so sleepy at 7 pm I can't take it and I go to bed. well I hope everyone here is doing good,and has a great tuesday morning!!

I understand your concerns! I doubt it will pass,I mean to my knowledge the one in California did not pass. I think parts of it did..(ie medical pot) bills are considered all the time that have no chance at passing. That is one of them I think.btw I have a good friend who Lives in south Hadley mass.I will ask him about it this morning,he is very into politics and attends the board meeting in his town all the time.. I try not to talk politics with him because we stand at opposite sides of the track, but he is cool and we never argue when we do.lol
