Good New Week Morning, my Friends.

It's calm but rather overcast here in central NC at this hour where we stand at an un-February like 66 degrees.
After this evening's and tomorrow's rain, we should return to nice, but chillier, weather.

Speaking about un-February, that's exactly what it will be tomorrow.
Can you believe we will be moving into March already at midnight tonight?

But what's even bigger news is the arrival of MILESTONE NUMBER 3!!
Days to the Season: 258
Days to Christmas Day: 300
That Window has opened and through it, we arrive at a double-200's count.
Wow! Those Milestones are really falling!
(Note to self: Need to check on when the next one is.)

There's a world of truth to what you posted about changing times, Superdave. In those days we were free to (and expected to) take care of ourselves and our families - and were the stronger for it.
Sadly, the pandora's box of "political correctness" has been fully opened and I'm afraid we will never return to such times again.

Good morning everyone! only one page since I visited yesterday!? for the people who have been here more than one year. Does the posts slow down in the spring and early summer before July? It's kinda funny in the fun and games section more than once I have answered myself before realizing it! just becuase some posts go unasnwered for days and I forget what I posted I was playing "yum or yuck" by myself!! Anyhow it is a mild but comfy 58F outside and pollen is everywhere all over the cars, grass.Hopefully it will rain alot tonight as we are suppose to have thunderstorms and wash it all away!! Work should be pretty easy today just paperwork and auditing before filing it.In other words not much human contact and on mondays that is a good thing!!! have a great morning everyone!

Yes, it's warm down here in the southeast today, getting up into the upper 80's. Whew! That's fishing weather for sure!

I started my walking routine this morning. I gave it up when winter really kicked into high gear, but I don't have an excuse now. Actually, it feels good to be active in the morning. Gets the old blood pumping, I guess.

I don't know what your forcast is for today, but we're supposed to get up to the upper 80's!

In south central Ga,we are having a high of 84F but it is cloudy so I don't know if we will make it. After 6 pm a line of thunderstorms extending from Ohio and West Virginia is suppose to move across south Ga, we are also under a wind advisory today. So basically typical March weather. the rain I bet will pass through in an hour bringing in a cold front,making it less humid and high's will be in the 70's lows in the 40's. I like the warm weather but upper 80's in feb is just too early and makes you wonder what in heck the weather will be like this summer!!!

That's great and it does feel good to get that old blood pumping! I have 12 days left of training until my 5k run competition. I had a set back last week when I was laid up sick so I hope I do well for it! We will see, I will at least try! cheesy

Pay day for me today. Since I'm paid only once a month, at the end, that means only 9 more paydays until Christmas! Does that make it seem sooner for anyone?

Where did it go? It's back to work for me after a week of being off. I am not looking forward to it. I dreamed about my last year's class last night. Not a happy thought! I hope all of y'all have a great day.

Okay, I've just scared myself! We are currently at £1.29 per LITRE for gas. Using my handy dandy conversion chart, that works out at $2.07 per litre. Then, there are 4.55 litres in a gallon which means we are paying - sitting comfortably now.................. $ 9.42 a gallon!!!!!!!

Thats beyond scary.

Can't wait for the rain to come tonight we need it! I may even cut my grass today, this is so dang early to be doing this. I have to admit the groundhog got it right this year!! Welcome to Monday all! Had a good relaxing weekend. We were supposed to get a storm but it never came. We just had light snow. 2 more hours and its time to go home. Man I have been on a Drew Carey Show kick. I just cant get enough of it. lol. I used to watch it all the time when it came on. William now knows where the dog treats are at his grandparents house. He likes to feed the dog and said "Doggy likes food" LOL but when he says doggy it sounds like goggy. hah. Well Im at work so I better back BACK to work haha. have a great day/evening all!
