Good evening,

Another busy day, went to the warehouse club and bought a bit of food this morning. Then we went to a party store to get ideas for our boys b-day parties, and they still had their Christmas clearance, nothing I wanted though. Then I had to go to work to run the inventory, and to do the administrative work on it, one more day until a day off. LC starts daycare/preschool tomorrow, the first time he has ever gone to a daycare. Just watching the Bruins game now, they won last night in a great game. I went outside earlier to get something stepped onto the top step and right down the stairs I fell because of some ice, my left arm is bruised and cut up pretty badly, and wow did that hurt.

I started dating my wife 12 years ago today, so it is a special day for us.

Everyone else....Carl said no snakes at the Pines...and if there is...he's got enough shovels for everyone...however, he's going to have to give me a bazooka....because I'm not going ANYWHERE around those things.

Bad storms passing over right now. There is so much lighting that it looks like it is the middle of the day. Mother nature at least could have let me get to sleep before she unleashed this on us.

*spent all day outside in the summer playing, with no cell phone to keep in touch with our parents and out of sight of the house

*walked a mile to school with no adult supervision

*climbed trees that where taller than our two story farm house just to see how far we could see

Yup and had the times of our lives. I can remember getting in trouble for not being in the house.

I know time is passing fast! I'm even going a step further and saying 7 months...because I decorate for Halloween on oct 1st and well for me the season kind of begins there. Halloween is just the first in many holidays in our holidays season.I know when halloween time is here we have finally made it!:

Good morning everyone! only one page since I visited yesterday!? for the people who have been here more than one year. Does the posts slow down in the spring and early summer before July? It's kinda funny in the fun and games section more than once I have answered myself before realizing it! just becuase some posts go unasnwered for days and I forget what I posted I was playing "yum or yuck" by myself!! Anyhow it is a mild but comfy 58F outside and pollen is everywhere all over the cars, grass.Hopefully it will rain alot tonight as we are suppose to have thunderstorms and wash it all away!! Work should be pretty easy today just paperwork and auditing before filing it.In other words not much human contact and on mondays that is a good thing!!! have a great morning everyone!

Okay, I've just scared myself! We are currently at £1.29 per LITRE for gas. Using my handy dandy conversion chart, that works out at $2.07 per litre. Then, there are 4.55 litres in a gallon which means we are paying - sitting comfortably now.................. $ 9.42 a gallon!!!!!!!

dang man that is quite a jump..I thought ours was bad going from 2.97 to 3.40 in 2 weeks! I just don't understand if oil cost a certain amount per barrel why is everyone's gas prices different? why would they not all be the same.I guess if you ask the officials you will get a different answer from each one. I just hope it does not get above 4.00 a gallon.If it goes to 5 I will start driving my bike to work..and I'm not kidding.lolcheesy

Also, this is the last day in Feb. we have made it through the dark days of winter for the most part,and the post christmas blues should really be a thing of the past. That is how I look at it. the winters following Christmas have always been hard,so If I can get through Jan and Feb,the rest of the year is easy!!

It started storming here last night. I sleep well through storms but my poor chihuahua gets up and paces the floor. It terrifies her. :-?

wet morning here. Ice rain in some areas closing down schools. Where I have to go this morning the schools are closed, buses cancelled and even taxis are not running. I will have to call and make sure my session is still going to take place. Sounds like I may have to wait until another day.

It's icy here this morning from freezing rain. I'm waiting for a guy to install a new kitchen appliance before I head in to the office, so happily I don't have to go out right away, and it's supposed to get into the upper 40s later.
