Good Evening Everyone!!!!! It was another cool day here in central Indy. I got my snow shovel back out of the attic today to get ready for this weekend. I spent most of my day out shopping with my sister and nieces. I got home just in time to watch the end of qualifying for the nascar race. It looks like Dale Jr. will have to come from the back again this weekend. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

hi everyone. i hope u guys are doing great. weather is bright and beautiful....and I am sick...lol...I am not sure what it is....I´m starting a slight fever and I almost lost my entire voice.....honestly....I could play Don Corleone in "The Godfather"...my voice is that husky lol

I hope you feel better.

What a good night...went out to eat with my parents and wife....came home and had some coffee while watching a movie....now just visiting.....Dad leaves again Sunday for another 6 to 8 weeks.....so I cherish these times.

I have truly been blessed.

Tomorrow...couple of hours at the office...couple hours ironing some shirts....then off for another day and a half before Monday morning.

See you in the morning for coffee!

Just checking in. I haven't had a chance to look over all the post yet. I am really tired today! I have been so busy all week long, slept 10 hours last night and still feel exhausted. I tried to go outside for a run and only lasted 1 lap around the school, 1/2 mile. I don't have the kids today or go to work so I guess I should just relax but that's hard to do knowing I have some chores to take care of.

I hope you all have a nice weekend!!! cheesy

WOW! 10 hours, I would be happy with 7, too much sleep and I feel more tired than usual.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is sunny right now with lots of gray clouds in the sky. I will be getting my husbands clothes ready for the Cable Guy party tonight. Right now, my husband is going out to look at my van. He can build anything, but cars are not his area of expertise. He will try to see if he can start it to get it down to our mechanic. When I got home last night, I really had to put the pressure on the steering wheel to make a left turn into the driveway. It really hurt my injured upper arm to do so. I think I will take a pain pill and rest, even though I just got up!

I hope the pill helped! I hope it is nothing to serious with the van.

Well, I got my car back and found out what was wrong: The serpentine belt was cut in two, the belt tensioner was worn. The pulley was severely worn and had separated into several pieces. Part of the pulley was melted. Only cost me $101.68 in parts and $135.00 in labor! HaHa!

Not to bad, I guess it could have been worse.

Good evening,

It was a looonnnggg day, I worked all day doing one project after another, barely finished on time. Then we had to go out to do some shopping at Toys R Us for a birthday party tomorrow and we went out for dinner. We didn't get home until 9pm, the boys were exhausted. Back to work early in the morning again.

Happy :rudolph: day! 9 more months until the big day!

Have a great night!

I am off to bed. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!

What did you think of Idol this week? I was disappointed in America and glad to see the judges use the save.
I am a HUGE Casey Abrams fan! I was thrilled they saved him and hopefully lit a fire under his fans to vote this week! According to forum sites I go to, Casey is really popular. The problem is, the fans become complacent and think, "no need to vote, he will win". I have been guilty of that in the past and learned from my mistake. I vote away when I have a favorite.

It happened to Jennifer Hudson and at that time Fantasia was in the bottom 3 as well.

A couple of years back I joined in on an American Idol forums that turned into total chaos. I never seen so much bickering over a show! It was stupid and I refuse to ever join in again, I only read comments to see who they like. They still fight and argue constantly. Everyone has opinions on who they like and shouldn't be judged for it. I like Casey but some may not like him at all and that's fine with me. I am not going to fight about it. lol.

The year I joined is when Adam Lambert was in the running. I like Adam and some people despised him but they were downright cruel about it and it was uncalled for. I actually got blasted because I liked when he did Ring of Fire. This person told me I had no respect for Johnny Cash. Grow up people! It's an opinion and everyone is entitled to it. It had nothing to do with disrespect to Johnny Cash, it was just a performance. I will NEVER join an American Idol thread again! Ok, I got off topic and had my rant for the day! ha ha! cheesy

By they way, who is your favorite? I won't blast you for your opinion. He he! All in all, I think they have a lot of good people this year.

WOW! 10 hours, I would be happy with 7, too much sleep and I feel more tired than usual.
I never do well on 7 hours. I always feel wiped out and feel like I didn't get enough sleep. 9-10 hours suits me well majority of the time, sometimes 8 is ok. I think the very long and busy week just caught up with me and it was taking it's toll on me. I hate that I require that much sleep and thought at one time I could train my body to get less but it never worked. I envy those who get by with less sleep. I have to go to bed so early every night just to feel better the next day.

Good Weekend Morning, Friends of the Holidays in general and the Christmas Season in particular.

Hey! Hey! Hey! It's a MILESTONE DAY!!

Days to the Season: 232
Days to Christmas Day: 274
Yes, Sir, M'am and Indeterminant, we have arrived at Milestone #5, the One Quarter Mark to Christmas Day!
(And it arrived so soon, didn't it?)

What's next you ask?
Well, hold onto your party hats, it's the one THIRD mark to Christmas day and it arrives exactly one month from today, followed the very next day by the Season 200-day Window.
Wow! Two Milestones on successive days!
(How's that revelation to get your weekend off to a great start?)

Overcast here again with a strong threat of rain by this afternoon.
We are at a chilly 48 degrees, currently.

My older niece turned 20 on Thursday. (Just not possible!!)
We are celebrating at a nice restaurant this evening then returning to my father's place to celebrate with gifts and cake.
(This year my niece wants a group of cupcakes instead of one large cake. That's something different!)

Sadly, we lost 2 of the 3 remaining ACC teams over the last couple of days in the NCAA Basketball tournament.
Only the UNC Tar Heels soldier on to carry the conference banner!
(GO HEELS!)

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!

We get out for Easter Break on April 22 and go back on May 2. The April 22 date is a date we were originally scheduled to work, but the district made us take furlough days for which we do not get paid.

Do yall go to school year around? that is really late in the school year for a Easter or (spring) break even though Easter is really late on the calendar this year.. The local University here was out like the first week of March, and some of the school districts have thier spring break this upcoming week and some have it the weekafter next. They all get out for summer in Mid-May! and I am always hearing about the furlough days they have here too. They have even cut back the required days of school kids go from 180 to 150! it seems like every week they are out for something. Out of all the ways we can cut back I would think education should be the last! But Kudos for yall still actually calling it "Easter "break! you don't see that even here in the south. Just like Christmas is called "winter break" now. rant over!cheesy

Good morning everyone! not feeling so good but it's from spring allergies, everything is yellowish green outside from tree pollen that has fallen. We need rain BAD for the crops but also to clean up the air. We have not had any rain since march 8th and according to the weather channel's website even that was just a trace.I hate to plant my garden with it so dry,so I have to set up an irrigation to the back yard. I hope everyone has a great day. Happy milestone day too!!
