How horrible, I saw it is over 300 now. My thoughts are with everyone down in those areas right now

I can't bring myself to turn any of the news stations on anymore. The images are just horrible and the death toll just keeps going up.

Who plans on getting up early tomorrow morning to watch the royal wedding?

I haven't decided if I am going to get up and watch it or if I am just going to set the DVR and watch it later. I am a bit of a news junkie so I will probably get up and watch it live.

I am getting up at 3:30 to go to a friend and co-worker's apartment (with one or two other friends/co-workers) just to watch the wedding. She is making tea, one is making scones, and I'm making muffins. I also tried to get crowns from Burger King, but they would only give me one. Luckily I have another one from my birthday last year that I plan on wearing.

To say I have royal wedding fever is a VAST understatement. =p

First off, I'm glad to hear that everyone is safe. I've stayed away from CNN and the Weather Channel because I really just don't want to see the terrifying images. Last I heard, the death toll was at 281...that is just horrible.

We had tornado warnings here earlier today, heavy winds and lots and LOTS of rain. Word is one touched down nearby today, but I haven't heard anything official yet. It's so scary.

I'm gearing up for the Royal Wedding tomorrow! I'll be getting up around 3:30 and going to a friend's house to watch it. We'll even be watching it on BBC to get a more British feel. =D

Have a good night, everyone!

we will be up by 5am to watch on BT. If I am up sooner I will start watching then.
I did bake a batch of scones and got the marmalade ready, just have to make a fresh pot of tea and we are all set!

CAH- I don't know if I can bring myself to watch Idol anymore.

Good night, folks, another Friday is on the way ...

I won't be tuning in to the royal wedding---it's a workday for me, and I need my sleep---but I'll have a hot cuppa PG Tips with milk and sugar in the happy couple's honor. Oops ... make that "honour."

Good evening,

I didn't realize how big the royal wedding was with so many people, I remember Prince Charles and Diana only because it was on I believe a Saturday morning, and being only 5 or 6 at the time I was upset the Saturday Morning cartoons weren't on. At that age that was the highlight of the week were those cartoons, and the cartoons at that time RULED. My wife and I were talking about the future store and she seems to now be 100% behind the idea, she is really excited about it after I have told her some of my plans. She was leery of it at first but I think she understands my thinking now and I personally believe I have some fantastic ideas. As Wayne Gretzky said "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." I will take this shot down the road, because I really want to do it.

I should head to the land of nod, the sun will be kicking me out of bed before I know it.

Have a great night! :hi:

Well I am going to try and get some sleep before the wedding starts. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey friends! Just wanted to drop by and say hi! Didn't get to read much today, but I will catch up tomorrow.

Have a great Friday friends!

I love all this kind of thing!! I remember, like you, getting up in the middle of the night with my mum to watch anything "royal", getting so excited, and it's stuck with me

I dont exactly remember Charles and Dianas wedding, since I was probably pooping my diapers at 4 months old....but have always loved the Royals....mostly the British Royal family....there is a fascination about them I cant really understand myself....since it doesnt really match with the rest of my personality.
Been watching the broadcast of everything since 3 hours and 15minutes!
