Who plans on getting up early tomorrow morning to watch the royal wedding?
I haven't decided if I am going to get up and watch it or if I am just going to set the DVR and watch it later. I am a bit of a news junkie so I will probably get up and watch it live.
Good evening,
I didn't hear of the horrible weather until I came here tonight, I hope everyone stays safe.
Inventory is done for another month, it takes so long to prepare and then count, it is a draining experience every month. Back to work first thing in the morning.
I got home to watch the end of the Bruins game, and they won in overtime and on to the second round to face the Philadelphia Flyers, hmmm maybe another chance to exorcise more of their demons. Go B's!!!!!
At some point I went over 15,000 posts, not bad for someone who never thought he would make 1,500. I love coming to this site and sharing a little Christmas everyday with all of you.
Have a great night!

We have tornado warnings in parts of Maryland right now. Some of the warnings are not too far from where we live, but fortunately we don't seem to have them right in our area. The sky is really black looking, and it's very windy. Hopefully we won't lose the electric again~ I want to watch the Royal Wedding tomorrow morning.
And with this post, Meceka is poster #8,800. She is raking in the prizes. And this time, it's another doozy: some fishnet stockings from the 60s to go with the tab from the Tab!!
This wasn't a good day. I'm sure by now those of you in the USA have seen some horrific scenes from the region.
We were blessed not to have been hurt or worse and to have no significant damage. At least one of co-workers was not as fortunate. Thankfully none in her family were seriously hurt but two of their homes were destroyed.
My heart is heavy for the families in areas near me and not so near me that did not fair as well. For the first time since retiring from public service in 2006 I feel a little remorse and helpless in not being a part of the emergency response. Thank GOD for those that still do including many of my former colleagues! Their next few weeks will not be easy.
We got a hold of my mother-in-law and she is safe, so far. Sad news is, she had to put one of her dogs asleep today. She is heartbroken. =(
Also, thanks to everyone for taking time to say something about my friend's father's death. I have been taking it rather hard (I don't deal with death well at all), but my friend is doing well. We are having a service for him on Saturday, so we'll see how that goes.
That is scary, you should let the police know so they may send extra patrols that way, and has there been an outbreak of break-ins in your area?

I just saw on the Weather channel the Carolinas are going to be under warnings around 1am, my sister is located in Charlotte area, I hope they take proper preparations. I may not sleep to well knowing that.
Good morning all! it's a muggy morning temp is at 75F at 6 am...I think the front is coming through later this morning, tonight it will get down to 55F sounds good,I hope everyone in the Mid-atlantic states and North east has a safe day as well,I think the storms are heading your way now.
It's overcast here, with tornado watch in effect, but it's relatively calm.
My family lives in that area too. Hope everything is well with both our families.

Good afternoon, Christmas family.
So glad for those who have survived this savage weather !! How sad that so many are devastated by either loss of life or property or both. All are in my prayers.
What a frustrating and anxious week !! It started at 3:00 a.m. On Monday when I was working. The server went down at work. I followed protocol but wound up having to call it a night. While I appreciated getting extra sleep it did not add to my ease of mind knowing I was not making the lines I desperately need. The server has gone down for three nights in a row now at 3 a.m...there must be something going on. I am behind so many hours it is totally silly. I just hope that tonight everything stays copesetic !!
I hope you are all safe, dear Christmas family xo
I am praying for the people affected by those terrible storms over there in the States....I cant imagine living with those storm warnings, not being able to sleep..... may the lord put his arms around You and all Your loved ones.....actually around everyone....and may he help the people who lost family and friends in those horrible storms. Amen
I'd also like to give a nod to my extremely slow internet that has been helping me to rake in the goodies cheesy
And to all the little people who make it possible!!!
... Will have to keep tabs on the basement for a few more days yet....QUOTE]
Is Meceka clever or what? She just cannot keep her mind off her prize!!
