Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!! It is another hot and humid day here in central Indy and my allergies are not liking it. My head feels like it is going to exploded. I took some medicine and layed down but it is hard to get any rest when the Blue Angels keep buzzing your apartment building. They are practicing for the air show this weekend at the airport about 5 miles up the road and my apartment building happens to sit right where they come to turn around and head back to the airport for their next stunt. It is pretty cool to watch them perform. I can go stand in corn field and watch them do all of the higher altitude stuff but there are to many trees and buildings to see them do the low passes right over the field. I will try to get some pictures on Saturday. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

I hope your allergies calm down a bit, so cool about the blue angels though.

Good afternoon Christmas friends. I leave for Florida on Saturday so I probably wont be back on here until around the 23rd. Once I get back from vacation and being at the beach (as well as Disney World).. I will be just about ready for the Fall =0) Take care friends and will talk to you all when I return!

I am up later than I want to be, just catching up on the days posts. It feels like there is never enough hours in the day lately. I have just to work tomorrow and then I have the weekend off, tomorrow night my wife and I go to the big teacher's dinner where they celebrate those who retire this year and award winners. I saw a commercial for a show where the guys were trying to get paid time off for their special holiday: Half-Christmas I had to record it but haven't watched it yet, I guess it has something to do with Christmas in July. Well I should probably get to bed.

Good morning everyone! I could not sleep I just tossed and turned so I decided to just get up...it is very warm outside about 72F and going to get up in the mid 90's again this afternoon. After today it is cooling off with lows in the mid 50's which is below average for this time of year.TGIF it has been a long week..Hope everyone has a great morning!

Well if I would have sleptlast night I would be getting up around now to get ready for work. Just checked the weather and it's going to be 95 and humid again today. tomorrow is going to cool down. I am not really into superstician and maybe it is my outlook in general but everytime friday the 13th rolls around it's like I expect wierd stuff to happen. I am a total jinx at work too everyone I work with will tell you when I clock in wierd stuff happens,like things that would never usual happen.oh well hope today is not bad!! have a good morning everyone...I need coffee!

Good Friday (the 13th) morning, my Christmas friends!

Last Friday, my son's class took a trip to a place that has a bowling alley, batting cages, video games, putt-putt golf, etc. Today it's my daughter's class trip to the same place. And she's begging me to go with her. I've never been able to say no to her, so I'll be out for a few hours today. LOL!

My bro-in-law really wants to try chocolate covered bacon after seeing an ad for it. I think I am very curious on how it tastes, I suppose I can make it sometime. cheesy

If there's a Denny's in your area, you should check it out---they're having a promotion called Baconalia. A bunch of special dishes featuring bacon: a breakfast plate with three kinds of bacon, bacon-laced meatloaf, a BBBLT sandwich, and more. They even have a Maple Bacon Sundae.

A co-worker brought in a batch of candied bacon one Friday. I'm not by any means a hard-core baconatic, but I tried a nibble, and it wasn't too bad.

Ever try a peanut butter and bacon sandwich on toast? It's very good.

Ugh ... that reminds me of my dad eating pound cake with gravy on it!

I love Love LOVE the Blue Angels! I have seen them several times and it's who we saw this past October. You are so lucky to live so close but not good when you are feeling bad. I hope you get better!

Ugh I am simply about to throw my laptop through the window!

I have a love/hate relationship with my laptop. I sometimes want to throw mine out too! cheesy

Kandice is sleeping since 2 hours and I am watching CSI....I got a blister gone bad on the inside of my right foot....the blister open because I must have scratched it open with my left foot in my sleep.......it is burning.......and redder than a cancer....horrible....Kandice is terrified by it....she said....Mommy....Your pain will never ever go away no more....and wept.....cute little mouse....I only have it since yesterday....so much for the eternal blister

I hope it heals soon!

okay good night everyone! it has been a long long day..and CAH it is HOT here! how are you holding up in this heat? It's times like this I daydream about Fall coming and the cooler weather Etc etc. thanks goodness tomorrow is friday,although it is the 13TH! have a good night and I will chat with you all tomorrow!

On lunch break right now...I have a bad habit of biting my fingernails especially under stress. I have bitten everyone of them down to where they are bleeding the last few days and now theyare becoming ingrown. so this guy at work tells me he has stuff for ingrown toenails but it would work on my fingers...well it burned the living heck out of my fingers right now i can barely type,and yes I know this is gross but hey it's the world I live in! I can't wait for 3 pm!!
