Hi again all!

Seems like I've been making up for the lack of posts this entire week in the last 24 hours! lol Thank you all who have been praying/keeping my dad in your thoughts. Seriously, THANK YOU.

Two of my best friends got engaged tonight (must be something in the air, eh Neal?)!! I'm super excited, because both Travis and I will be in the wedding party, not sure how yet though (it's between me and another girl for maid of honor...last she had talked about she was thinking of making us co-MOH's, which is what I'm planning to do for my own wedding so I'm excited at that possibility). We knew it was going to happen at some point bc he told us two weeks ago that he had the ring....ahhh, I'm just beside myself because I love weddings and I'm over the moon at being able to help her plan!!

There's another situation going on with some other friends, but it's a bit on the dramatic side and I'm not sure I want to bring that on the board, haha. I'm trying to not think about it much because I just get upset when I do, and Travis says I need to adopt his attitude of just not giving a crap about it. It's hard for me though because I care so much about my friends and it's hard for me to say I just don't care. Argh.

Time for bed though...I have a baby shower brunch for a friend tomorrow - yes, even more baby stuff going on! Goodnight everyone! cheesy

Good morning! Just woke up and snuck into the kitchen to eat some cold lasagna!! it was good but man did it make me thirsty! anyhow I don't have anything planned sunday except going to Mass in the morning. It's may 15th! this has always been a special date for me. Back on 5/15/89 something happened to me I will never forget.I'll spare yall the details but every year since then I always remember and that was the best summer I had up until 97! When I hear a song from that time all the memories come flooding back!.. I can't believe it has been 20 plus years!!Well I am going to try to go back to sleep now! good night!

I used to go to Rick's back in 2002-04...but we witnessed a really bad fight there one night and that kinda killed it for us. Also during that time we used to go to JP's on Norman Dr (right near the mall) and Illusions right after it opened in '02. Man I'm trying to remember some of the other places...is Glo still open downtown? They had the best sushi and martinis!!!

Yes I have been to JP's but the crowd is a little too young. Now everyone goes to Creekside which use to be JP mulldoons by the YMCA on gornto road.I am not sure about GLo,actually I never heard of it. the only place downtown I have been is called 301 North. it's one block south of the main post office down town on patterson.It's a restuarnats/bar but it has amazing food and atmosphere for such a small town like this..actually without the college and air force base,valdosta would be tiny!

I loved the ADPi's! I always said if I ever did a social sorority that it would be that one! Never got the chance to though...SAE's know how to thrown down, though! =p

SAE's have been booted time and time again from campus,but always come back! I hope they stay out of trouble this time! Also I have a few friends that are Kappa Alpha too...and I think Kappa SIG's?? or Kappa Nu or Sigma Nu?no nevermind that is a sorority I always see girls wearing shirts that say "you would smile too if you were Sigma Nu.....I get em confused!

Haha yeah you got that right!! I should have waited a few minutes because she was telling me she felt sick...and as soon as she saw the ring she got teary eyed,then 30 seconds later in the bathroom..I know this is funny now but at the time I was shaking...actually she has been sick all week,all day...whoever called this 'morning sickness' sure got that wrong. It's morning and night!!!cheesy

Impossible as it may seem, we have officially arrived at the half way point on our voyage to Christmas Season 2011.
(Seems like such a short time ago the journey began, doesn't it?)
Days to the Season: 182
Days to Christmas Day: 224
Our next milestone? I haven't even looked.
(I'm afraid to. The year is passing too fast!!)

Again overcast this morning with lots of potential rain in the forecast.
We are currently standing at 66 degrees.

Well, enjoy your day thinking about being at the half-way mark.
It's all a downhill coast from here.

Happy Halfway to the Christmas Season Day!!!! :dance:

Good morning!

It is a rainy day and so much cooler than the past few days. I actually turned the furnace on to warm Mouse up - she really does not like the cold and the poor girl looked so miserable. She is much happier now.

I'm going to relax today and in honor of the Big Milestone in the Countdown, watch a Christmas movie cheesy Later on I'm going to make a big pot of potato soup for supper and finish the book I am reading.

Time once again to have a nosy in the forums whilst I enjoy a nice cuppa! I think I'm getting old! I'm only 22 but that makes me sound older... oh well, I guess there are worse things to be doing then to be getting my festive groove on!

Bit of a mixed bag here weather wise, blue skies this morning, but now grey clouds are gathering and the wind is getting up. The important thing is though that I'm inside, where it's warm!
