Christmas Countdown - 2011

Yup...I'm here too! Who would have thought the prediction would be wrong (hahahaha!).

Well...I'm back (as if you didn't already know :wink:).

What a beautiful day it was! We went to my Son, DIL and GD's for a visit today! When my GD saw me...her face lit up and she said to me, "I like your prilly dress, Grammie" (she pronounces "pretty" as "prilly" cheesy). My GD is such a "girl" in the truest sence of the word! She loves pretty dresses, pretty flowers, pretty shoes (and she LOVES shoes!), etc.

We went to the park at the beach and then to McDonald's for lunch. We had such an AMAZING day!

For Mother's Day my DIL and GD recorded the song "Frosty The Snowman" in one of those books you can record your voice to. I absolutely LOVE it! Yes...they know me oh so well - but they happen to love Frosty too!

Its funny...I've been waiting for beautiful weather like we had today for such a long time (it was a long and very cold and bitter winter)...but I cannot help but dream and think about that first snowfall...the Christmas season coming upon us...red and green decoration. I guess that's part of what makes me a Christmas person who carries Christmas in my heart all year long! I guess that's part of why we (at MMC) are all Christmas people...

Ahhhhh...I'm dreaming :rudolph:

I sprayed inside my home for ants...I sprayed outside my home for ants..and what do I still find lurking when I least expect it? ANTS..Grrr.. now I feel like I have ants crawling on me!

good morning my friends. all fine over here. the sun is out and the world has not ended....another christmas to celebrate!!!!! YAY.

no plans for today at all. just doing laundry and cooking sumthin in the evening........a christmas movie might be watched today.....not sure tho
 
Good morning all...it's still dark outside I woke up at 330 ad tried to go back to sleep and I drifted off and had a bad dream a frustrating dream. I woke up mad!haha..anyway I hope today is good..I am about to listen to what the top 40 songs were this week back in 1982...God bless the decade that was the 80's!!!!! everyone have a great day!
