Good night, everyone, and happy weekend!

Okay if the rapture does happen tomorrow(I don't think it will but you never know) I say we all meet at the pearly gates at 2pm on sunday so we can finally meet each other.

I'm in, assuming I'm among the "chosen"!

I will probably be there closer to 3 pm, I have a few errands to run first.

We'll wait, but after 3:30, you're on your own ... cheesy

I'm not doing anymore house cleaning until I see what happens with the world tomorrow..Have a great weekend friends!

A practical thought ... I think I'll follow suit.

Cancel the APB sunshine was spotted in Western Massachusetts today!

We got some in MetroWest late this afternoon, too, before the clouds rolled back in. We got a thunderstorm last night around 2:30 that woke us up.

Phew! I was beginning to think we were it. MMC the only network for me! cheesy
Maybe it's our New England reserve (except that I was born and raised in Maryland). If things keep progressing in the same direction, we'll probably have to join Facebook one of these days just to keep up, since more and more promotions and sales depend on checking a company's Facebook page, but we're putting that off until it's inevitable.

Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning MMC !

2 cakes baked and cooling by 7:30 (I think that is a new record for me!)
My daughters house warming is this afternoon so one of the cakes is for that. The other one is for the dental grad party someone ordered.

The first of the Star Trek movies is on this morning! cheesy

Have a fantastic day everyone!!!

Now...just try not to smile (or...skip) when listening to Christmas music!

It's not possible!

I guess my grandkids don't have much choice since I own over 300 Christmas movies. cheesy Over 200 of them are animated, the others are Christmas movies, shows and sitcoms.

Wow - great collection!

I've been just loving listening to Christmas music on my mp3 player. On my lunch walks, I'll listen to Christmas music and walk around in the PATH downtown - or The Bay - or The Eaton's Centre (etc.) and use my imagination to picture how everything is decorated at Christmas time!!!

The Eaton Centre must be gorgeous all decked out for Christmas!

Good evening, Christmas family.

I am getting ready to get started but wanted to drop by first. I hope all are well. I just wanted to tell all of you that so far Wishbone is doing fine. The doctor thinks he has started having seizures. When an old dog starts having seizures it is usually not a real good sign. He is on Phenobarbital and I am hoping and praying that he will have a few more good years. I am not really optimistic though.

I am in tears as I write even though he is okay for now. I know the day will come when we have to say goodbye and I fear that day is soon. But I don't know that for sure. Wish and I have been through so much together, you would not believe. Everytime I have needed a friend, someone who really loves me unconditionally over the years when NOBODY else was around Wishy has been there. Everytime I have lost a furchild, it was Wish whose fur I have cried into. Now to think of losing him.......Well I just cant.

Like I said, for now he is fine. Thank you all for your love and continued prayers. You are all angels xo

Well, time to get started.....

Love you Christmas family xo

CM3 - I will continue to pray for you and Wishbone ((((HUGS))))!!!!!!!!

Not a fan of those, it looks like they are trying to hard to do a retro/update type deal and failed, just my opinion.

I'm not a fan of them, either!

I really need a little Christmas now.

I hope things improve for you - ((((HUGS))))

Just keep your thoughts on Christmas...and it will forever be in your heart!

Yes!

I will be like that old Alice Cooper song....Schools Out For Summer!!!!

Love that song, and the Coop!!!!!!!

I know what you mean. On days like that I just have to remind myself that one day my parents will be gone and I will wish I could re-live a day with them.

My wife and I find it especially tough watching our parents grow old and becoming more dependent on us while our son grows up and need us less.

I was privileged to be able to take care of my dad when he became ill - it wasn't easy seeing him slowly pass, but I'm glad I was able to spend the time with him!

I've been at honors day at school. My daughter got honor roll and the Citizenship Award! That's chosen by the teachers, for the most helpful student with the best attitude. I'm so proud of her!

Congratulations to your daughter, Bradmac!

Well I did find a quarter in the parking lot the other day. Will that be enough to cover it????

Stop flaunting all the money you have!

goin to bed now. i m totally spend now...it is midnight now, the day wasnt really hard...but i am terribly tired....so god bless you peoples

God bless you and yours, Track!!!

Good Saturday Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!!! It is going to be a cloudy but warm day here in central Indy. That should be perfect qualifying weather for the INDY 500. My plans for today invovle trying to watch race coverage while babysitting my 2 nieces. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning!!!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and is going to spend it with those you hold nearest and dearest!!!!!

I finally caught up on two day's worth of Countdown posts - wow! It only took an hour or so cheesy I have had such a busy week and next week is shaping up to be even busier. I think today is the only day I have to relax a bit and I am going to be spending a good portion of it cleaning house.

Yesterday I got my grocery shopping out of the way. I was in line only to find out that they don't accept credit cards - good thing my friend had a debit card and she paid for the purchases I didn't have enough cash to cover. Unfortunately, my grocery bill wiped out all my cash and so I didn't get to go to all the stores I wanted to visit. Next time I will be more prepared!!

We had some time to kill before we had to get back to the school to pick up her little boy, so we went to one of the thrift stores I used to really like to go to - a lot of their glassware was broken and the smell from the book section was overpoweringly of mildew. They keep adding stores in the downtown area - maybe all the good items are there. I love the waterfront, but you need to take the whole day to wander around down there - lots of antique stores! Always good to check out the "competition"!

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhh! The memories of Saturday Morning Cartoons! You posted my all time favorite cartoon as well!

I have mentioned this once before but it tickles me when I think of it. A conversation I had with my kids when they were little. I mentioned to them about watching, Saturday Morning Cartoons. They said, "what's that"? Doh! Of course they don't know what it is, they have cartoons 24/7! We had to wait until Saturday to get a marathon of them, 5-6 hours straight. Then it was time to go outside to play, nothing else to watch. cheesy
My plans for today invovle trying to watch race coverage while babysitting my 2 nieces.
Trying to watch something on tv and babysit don't go together in my situation. If I tried to watch something on tv with the kids around I get interupted a million times so I don't bother. cheesy

Well, if it's my favorite Christmas cartoon I can watch the whole thing with them around! =)

Good Morning, my Start-of-the-Weekend Friends.

Hard to believe yet another week has passed.
(Weren't we just at this point only 7 days ago?)

Absolutely beautiful here in the capital city at this hour where we stand just under 68 degrees beneath sunny, calm skies.
(I really should be out walking instead of typing here but.....well, you know how it goes.)

Forward (or backwards, depending on how you look at it) to the count:
Days to the Season: 176
Days to Christmas Day: 218
Just over 2 1/2 weeks left now until the 200-day Window to Christmas Day.

Well, I hope everyone's weekend has started stupendoulsly and that you'll have a Sensational Saturday!
Keep that Christmas song in your heart and may the spirit of the Season be with you all weekend long.

it's done....this one if for my daughter's house warming party this afternoon. It is a vanilla cake with a hint of banana, caramel and butter cream filling. Iced with more butter cream topped with rolled fondant decorations. Just something quick and simple as she did not want a real fancy cake.

I gave in and let them put Bambi on and now I am listening to qualifying for the 500 on the computer. The real struggle will be when the nascar race comes on tonight.
