Christmas Countdown - 2011

Guys today is probably going to be my last day posting until early October. Tuesday I have to start staying on base to train for our mission in Bosnia,and I officially leave June 5th. I can't tell you how much I am going to miss this place! I will miss every single one of you guys...when I come back in October there will be so many new posters and the holiday season will be here as I count halloween season in with the rest of em! I will have MMC withdrawels for sure the next few days!

You will be missed here. My heart always cries a little when I think about all of the young men and women that are sent overseas to fight. My prayers go with you till we meet again.

Friends, sorry about not being around much since Thursday. To say I have been a little busy would be a slight understatement. But here I am, caught up, and on the verge of hitting 5,000. I will do it today.

I'm thinking about doing a little Christmas shopping today, still trying to decide if that is a good idea or not...

it only has 500 members! At first I thought they were a college band when I saw them..of course they sound better in person..but I always LOVED how they start and end each halftime performance with the song "bridge over troubled waters" back in the 6o's Lowndes High school was built when segregation ended and the black and white students went to the new school and they decided that would be thier bands anthem...cheesy

Yep, the GA Bridgemen!!! They are amazing! I actually saw that show the last time I was in Valdosta in October 2009. I thought my high school's marching band was amazing but these guys put them to shame!

Who else got left behind?

Me!! We celebrated one of my friends' birthdays last night and we dubbed it "The End of the World" party. We were at a hibachi restaurant at 6pm and the guy doing our dinner said something right at that time about us missing the rapture. It was pretty funny!

I sprayed inside my home for ants...I sprayed outside my home for ants..and what do I still find lurking when I least expect it? ANTS..Grrr.. now I feel like I have ants crawling on me!

We have ant hills all over our yard here...Travis has taken to pouring boiling water on them but it doesn't seem to help...they just pop up somewhere else! I also remember my last month in Valdosta, we had a huuuuuge ant infestation in our kitchen...it was so bad I practically lived with my ex at his house that last month!!
