Someone just sent this to me. I thought it was so cute!

Reasons Why Spoons Are Better Than Forks
=============

9. Try forcing strained spinach into a screaming toddler's mouth
with a fork sometime. You'll be a spoon fan for life.

8. When you try to play the forks, they keep getting caught
together.

7. By the time you get enough sugar from the bowl into your
coffee with a fork, the coffee is cold.

6. Your health never seems to improve much when you take your
cough medicine with a fork.

5. Spoonerisms are polite little mis-speaks that are appropriate
for mixed company.

4. Trying to fix your makeup in the reflection of a shiny fork
leads to disturbing results.

3. Party tricks that involve hanging a fork off your nose all fun
and games until someone loses an eye.

2. Any ninja can kill a man with a fork, but it takes a *cool*
ninja to kill a man with a spoon.

... and the #1 Reason Spoons Are Better Than Forks ...

1. Salad FORKS. Ice cream SPOONS. 'Nuff Said.

thanks for all the encouragement guys! it'll all be over by the end of this month and then i have christmas in july to look forward too! it just seems a never ending amount of work at the minue though :-?

My wife was doing something very similar the last few years, with the kids, job, and going to school for her Master's. Stick with it, it is a lot on your plate but in the end it will be worth it.

By the way, what is a full English breakfast?

oh, a full english breakfast is one of the most delicious things you'll ever eat, it consists of pork sausages, bacon, scrambed/fried/poached eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomatoes and hot buttered toast.

So....what time in the morning do you want me to drop by for breakfast?!

My behind is wet!

Let me 'splain. I left the window down on my truck while we were at mom's today, and it rained. My brother even asked me if I remembered my windows, and I said they were up.

So...my behind is wet!!

Glad you explained that one there, Bradmac! Just beginning to worry about you!

Hi all! Sorry I don't have any time to read the post. My mother and I are taking the grandkids to San Antonio Riverwalk and Seaworld. Wayne and my son will be home taking care of the house and pets. I will post all the fun we will be having when I get back. Our hotel will have internet so I will post if I get a chance.

Have a Merry Week! :snowball:

Hubby and I are going to the Riverwalk in a few years when we go for an Elks National Convention. Would love to see some pics. I have not forgotten the paper dolls for your mom and CM3.

Good evening, Christmas loving friends!

I'm wore out! I'm so tired I can barely hold my head up. Today was sooo hot and I did three games back to back to back! My legs hurt, my feet hurt, my sunburn hurts...but it was a benefit for some kids...so it was worth every single second of it! Sitting here now watching the NBA finals and enjoying the company of my wife. This Gatorade slush is going down so nice.

See everyone tomorrow!

Well it has been a long day and I will have to catch up tomorrow. I hope everyone had a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!! Goodnight!!!!

Good Morning MMC !

Woke to a nice sunny morning, still chilly, but that is supposed to change in the next few days. I am glad for that as I will be camping with my daughter for a couple of nights at the end of the week.

Have a fantastic day everyone!

good morning gang,

lots of homework and revision and revision on the cards today :-?

i'll be having lots of cups of coffee to get me through so it's all good.

it's father's day this coming sunday in the U.K, and i've ordered the most adorable card for my fiance from our daughter. it has a picture of him holding her for the first time when she was newborn on the front and inside it reads "remember when i was this tiny daddy? i will always be your little girl even when i'm all grown up" he'll love it! we are also taking him out for a sunday roast in our favourite restaurant to celebrate father's day (sunday roast is either beef/chicken/pork/lamb with roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, lots of veg, yorkshire pudding and gravy - just incase you were wondering!) i'm sure i'll wash it down for a couple of glasses of wine, our daughter will wash it down with some juice and he'll wash it down with a few pints of lager, after all it's a special day cheesy

Good Morning.

Yet another new week and yet another new count figure:
Days to the Season: 153
Days to Christmas Day: 195
UNDER 2 weeks now from the half-way mark to Christmas.

Rain/heat/humidity has been the rule here recently but at last, clear skies are forecast with all highs below 90 for the next 5 days or so.
Lower humidity, too.
That will be refreshing!

Have a Marvelous Monday, everyone.
I hope your week is off to a great start in the spirit of the Season!
