Nice, cool Monday morning so far here! Off to the park in a bit.

Just peeked in my backyard and my pumpkin plants have flowers!!! And they are popping up in random parts of the yard - guess an animal moved the seeds or something! It reminded me that fall is on the way!

Or could it be the Great Pumpkin!

Good evening Dear Christmas Family

Just getting ready to get started. I am still trying to get caught up and I am nearly there. Please everyone join Merry Christmas hands across the way and send some Christmas magic my way so that I can get caught up !! I was down by 13,000 characters and now I am down just 5,000. So Wish, Wish, wish !!

Please say a couple extra prayers if you could for us. This afternoon my husband had a verbal confrontation with our next door neighbor about an incident that occurred over the weekend.

Now, I can't say the neighbor should not have been talked to, needless to say never being one who is shy about expressing his opinons my husband really let this guy have it.

I thought he was just going to speak to the guy about it but as John Belushi used to say "But Nooooooooo..." He verbally trounced this man. This man is about 6 feet 5 inches, much bigger than me and bigger than my husband. I always get scared of confrontations especially with strangers. It has always been my fear that someone will hurt my furchildren. You just never know with people. I am praying that this man is not some kind of mentally unbalanced individual and that all will settle down.

This being 4th of July weekend I am really nervous.

Time for me to get started.

One VERY GOOD THING......Wishbone has not had an episode for almost TWO MONTHS !!!!!!! cheesy He is peaceully sleeping right now warpped up in an electric throw on my bed. He gets cold from the air and he also has arhtirits so I am sure the throw feels really good to him.

Hi guys!

Having a bit of a rough day today (and Travis too, plus two of our best friends as well). Hoping to go out for hibachi and just let loose for a little while, but that may not happen. I just wish my jobs would sometimes go a little smoother...I will just chalk this up to being a typical Monday, but I'm hoping the down feeling I'm feeling right now will go away tomorrow. We shall see. Have a good night everyone!

My split shift turned into 1 long shift today, I am beat. My adapter cord is on the fritz I don't know when I will get a new one, so I have to be quick and hope I can recharge the battery on the laptop or I may be off here for awhile if that happens. I hope not.

Good Morning MMC !

I have to go to my new job in an hour, I am once again doing in home palliative care. I have done this for years and have always been blessed to be with people during their final time here.

Looking forward too getting some camping in this weekend, even better weather reports say it is going up too 30c!!! We have only seen 1 or 2 days that warm so far this summer. Time in the pool will be great! The family is getting together for a big BBQ and fireworks on Canada Day.

Wow! Huge downpour yesterday afternoon. Was driving back from downtown and could barely see the road in front of me.
It was short-lived, however.
Currently we are at 76 under cloudy skies with still the threat of rain for today and tomorrow before more dependable weather returns for Thursday.

Louanne, I pray that the feud between you and your neighbors get resolved. I hate confrontations too and like you would fear for my fur children. They seem to become a target if someone gets mad. I have been in my house for 8 years and have great neighbors but I remember what it was like when I helped manage apartments. That was more on a personal level and if things didn't go right I was confronted with it or right in the middle of their problems. Yikes!

I am glad Wishbone is better! I am sure if it was as serious as the vet suspected he would not be doing as good right now.

I have not been quite as active on here as I would like but this summer has been really busy! Not in a bad way but my oldest grandson is out of school so I have all 3 of my grandchildren all day. We have been on the run and having fun. By the time they leave I collapse but I sure do miss you all on here and want to get caught up on a lot, not jut the countdown but other areas of the forums as well.

Well, off to fix breakfast for us all. You all have a fantastic day!
