Hello Christmas friends! It has been a very busy 7 or 8 days for me, hence why I haven't posted in quite some time. I'm watching So You Think You Can Dance right now, I love this show so much.

My best friend Megan (the one I visited in Florida a few months ago) came up semi-surprisingly for the weekend. We didn't really do much since Travis and I already had plans, but we did stay up very late Friday night/Saturday morning playing Rock Band and making various drinks. Saturday night, we went to a local carnival that always has a rockin' fireworks display with my parents, a few of their friends, and my uncle, aunt and cousin who came in from Jersey. We had a really great time, although I could've done without the humidity! Sunday we had to take Megan back to the train station, then T and I went to my parents' for more visiting with my uncle and fam. Monday we walked to our local fairgrounds with our great friends and watched another awesome fireworks display. I'll have to put some pictures up sometime because I got some great shots!

Travis has off this week so we've been trying to go around town and do some things we've never done before. There is apparently a bakery in a small town nearby that has chocolate covered strawberries the size of apples! I cannot WAIT to get some tomorrow!

Work has really stressed me out lately. At Kohl's, one of my jobs is to do payroll, and apparently an associate who just walked out and quit last week hadn't been getting paid the last few weeks, but he never told me! Well he had his mother call in initially last week (keep in mind this kid is like, 25 and is having his MOTHER call in for him...ugh do not get me started on that!) and she reamed me out, and I gave her the number for corporate payroll because I had checked and from my end, everything was done correctly. Apparently that was not good enough for her, and she'd called back a few more times that day to ream me out and call me "unacceptable". Fortunately she didn't call back that week...but unfortunately she called back today.

Without going into TOO much detail, she is now threatening to sue not only me (and our store), but Kohl's as a whole, even though we have done NOTHING wrong on our end. Not only did the ex-associate's mom call, but the dad called and talked to one of the assistant managers, and upset her so much (and my corporate payroll contact when they called her earlier this morning) that she (the asst manager) is threatening to call the cops if the mom and dad either come into the store or call again. Not to mention the mom had me in tears when she called me this morning to start this whole thing. It's a mess and is really stressing me out. Not to mention that I haven't been able to do anything with the schedule yet this week because I had to spend all day dealing with this family. It's a really ridiculous situation.

I hope all of you are doing well...I am thinking of all of you going through tough times and stress!! <3

Ho Ho Ho... Today is pay day for me THANK GOODNESS! I love watching the countdown on the top of this page keep getting lower.. 170 days.. just think in about 2 months we will be coming up on 100 days. Then the time will really fly by! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmassy day!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It's going to be hot again today, but this morning it was just a tad cooler than yesterday. We haven't had to turn on the AC yet. Hubby made waffles this morning and we had fresh strawberries to put on top. Mmmm! He does such a good job! I hope you all have a great day. Not much planned in my neck of the woods.

Good News, no better than that, Miraculous news !!!

Wes got through the surgery just fine, which was an endovascular procedure. With this type of surgery they place like a graft or patch over the aneurysm and divert the blood flow somehow taking the pressure off the aneurysm itself. That is the routine part. The miraculous thing that I just found out from my sister, and which she did not tell me before, was that the ANEURYSM WAS 8.2 cm !!!! That is huge and usually when they are that large they are just ready to rupture. Wes' did not. A true miracle. Someone, they way I see it, definitely had their hand over Wes.

Thank you all for your prayers, rosaries, thoughts, I can't tell you how much you and your suppor means to me. My sister wishes to thank you all too. Now the recovery which I hope will be swift.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!! It is another hot humid day here in central Indy. The last 5 days have been crazy around here and I am wore out. This afternoon I plan on kicking back and relaxing. I do have to do at least 1 load of laundry sometime this evening if I want a clean pair of shorts for tomorrow but I am watching christmas music videos on on demand right now.
