Nice way to start the day after the Milestone Eve festivities last night at the pines! I'm a little fuzzy on all the details as the new brew Carl cooked up was a wee bit strong and I had serious trouble sleeping again.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It looks like it is going to be a warm day here today but when I saw the extended forecast I wanted to get in my truck and head north. They are predicting 90 degree temps everyday next week. At least it isn't going to be the 100's like CAH and SIT are getting. I don't have much to do today. I might run into hobby lobby and see what Christmas stuff they have gotten in since a couple of weeks ago. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

$500 is a lot to have a branch removed! Here there is a place that will come and remove wood, but they get to keep it, donating it to special needs workshop or to people in need who heat thier homes with wood still.

Wow, I wish they were around here! I'd even throw in a glass of sweet tea! Hey, maybe that would get Crown to come over & help!

Good Morning, Christmas Family!

Yesterday was quite enjoyable - enjoyed the cooler temperatures with a 2 mile walk, checked out several mysteries from the library in Frankenmuth and found several Christmas themed issues of cross-stitch magazines for sale in their basement. Now I just need to schedule time to get back into that particular craft cheesy

Fur kids are fed and watered and extremely happy at the moment. Bo is outside, enjoying the cooler temperatures we are in the midst of this morning. It isn't going to last, though - heat and humidity are on their way back in the next few days. It wouldn't be such a bad thing to get used to if it didn't go from comfortable to uncomfortable overnight - those few hours in between the extremes does not allow me to get acclimatized, I just get grumpy. I so feel for you, C-A-H and S-I-T having to deal with the triple digit temperatures! I hope the feral cats are all okay!!!

Working both jobs today so the day will go by rather fast for me.

Good morning! I had every intention of going to the Pines yesterday & bringing along the Terry's Village "Exclusive First Look" Christmas catalog I got in the mail & darnit...I MISSED IT!! Hope it was a great time! :grin:

We also have much cooler temps today. 60º for my walk this AM! Yesteray I should have worn a tank top at 5:30 am it was so HOT & this morning I wore a long sleeve T & capri's! What a weather change in 1 days time!! O-H-I-O!

My neighbor and I keep plenty of water out for them. They also have lots of bushes they hide in and sleep. They seem to be ok though but it still worries me.

The heat here is so bad that the news reported that there is a concern for an outbreak of illnesses because no one can get outside. It's the same way that people get ill being inside too much during the winter. They reported an increase already that is unusual for this time of year and expect it to get worse if the temps don't drop.

Christmasstar will make the news when her fans finally reach Texas. She will be a hero for cooling us off! =)

It's a terrific tremendous Thursday

While we are already experiencing a 97º heat index at 9a.m. I count my blessings because many others are experiencing tsunami's, unprecedented flooding and even snow in July. Like Christmas-a-holic, I am so happy for those of you enjoying those perfect fall like temperatures. It gives us something to look forward to. LOL

Meceka, vitamins (C & D) may help your body to adjust a little better to the temperature fluxuations.

I'm actually letting both of the black lab puppies play in the yard this morning before it gets dangerously hot. They are loving life, and eating everything in their path. Now off to get my chores done and dinner cooked.

I am thankful too that we are not suffering more tragic weather but I do worry about my husband and son-in-law who has to work in the heat which could become a tragedy. They seem to be holding up to it ok but it's really hard on the body. On top of that they have had to work some 12 hour shifts. Yuck!

You are right, hearing about the cooler temps give us something to look forward to, FALL! Yay! cheesy

They found 2 spots on the inside of my nieces stomach. They are not sure what they are so the doctor took biopsy's and told my sister it will take about 2 weeks to get the results back. The doctor didn't think they were from acid reflux but said to give my niece prevacid to see if it helps until the results get back.

My mother in law is doing a little better, but still a long way from where she needs to be, we will probably be moving her to the biggest hospital in the area for better observation. If that wasn't bad enough, my father in law's mother is in a coma and very near to the end, she was doing better but her body is shutting down now. Sorry to be such a downer with all this sad news.

I did watch The Santa Clause 2 tonight, I needed a little Christmas today.

Hi everyone. Its a beautiful day here in Maryland...low 80's and no humidity. Glad to get a few days of a break from the heat. Had a great time with my Boys at the beach yesterday... but 5 hours is a lot of driving to do in one day. I am quite tired still but working... :-?. Cant wait for my long lunch break tomorrow so I can check out Michaels again and see what kind of progress they are making on their Fall and Christmas stuff! Thats the highlight of my week!
