Hey all! Cold and overcast today - weighing up the pros and cons of putting the heating on........seriously!!!

At work right now and have a wedding to prepare for this afternoon. It's going to be h*ll. The bride and groom are 19 and she has been given between 2 days and 2 weeks left to live. Wedding ceremonies are supposed to be full of hope and future. I've done what I can to alter the words and make it full of love but without alluding to anything else. This is going to be tough..........

Another nice sunny cool morning here. I opened all the doors and windows to let the house air out, but I think I am going to close the window I am sitting beside as I am getting chilled now!
I get to work at the House of Blessing today, one of my favorite places to hang out (other than here!)

I just had to come back on, it was quite a day we took the boys to a local beach for the day. It was fun an I got a sunburn on one arm, go figure. We get home around 4:30 to make dinner and JP puts the TV on and all of the sudden the ominous blue screen from Emergency Broadcast Systems pops on saying "alert, alert, alert tornado warning in effect for your area." My heart dropped since it is still less than 2 months from the one that devastated our town. The boys started to panic at the same time the lightning and thunder really get loud. The kids and my wife went to the basement, I stayed upstairs and watched the news, and they were saying it was heading directly for our town again. I heard a news and I booked it to the basement. Needless to say it never materialized but it looks like some did touchdown in a couple neighboring towns, and they did say there was a funnel cloud spotted in my town.

What a day.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! It is going to be another hot one here in central Indy. Today will be our 11th day in a row with temps in the 90's and the 10 day forecast doesn't show any relief in sight. I woke up with a headache this morning but I won't let that slow me down. I need to run to the grocery store this morning and maybe I'll swing back by Hobby Lobby again. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I meant to tell you but we went to Hobby Lobby this past Saturday in our town and they had all their individual ornaments out. I saw a few Santa's too! =)

The grandkids usually get here around 7:30 am. My son in law called last night and his job got moved until 11:00 am so the kids will not be here until 10:30 am. I got to sleep in today! I needed it, I have been so exhausted!

Wishing you the best as you prepare for this. Hubby and I stopped by one of our favorite restaurants yesterday. Our waitress got a call while we were there that her boyfriend had just died. What a sad moment. The thing with life is we all could have just two days or two weeks to live. We just never know.

Good morning, Christmas friends. I will soon head out to my classroom to pack up stuff for moving. If there are things I haven't used in a year, they will be packed up and given to my daughter who works at a sort of group home and to a friend of hers who is in her first year of teaching. I am not looking forward to packing and moving, but I will be glad when it's finished! Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning, Christmas family!

It is overcast and breezy and rain is in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow - yay! When I am done with work and have the fur kids all settled down I am going to go through my Christmas craft books - I need to start working on my gifts. This year I plan on making a special ornament for everyone - crocheted, knitted, or cross stitched. I need to make a supply list up and head out to a craft store or two.

The temps this week are getting even hotter! We are preparing for temps up to 106 this week. It still has not dropped below 100 (the high) for several weeks now.

Good morning, Christmas Family


Wish is doing okay again. I just never know from moment to moment whether he is going to have an "episode" or not. No matter. In between and even during the episodes, whatever they are, I pamer him. He will be 15 here in just about a week or so......I hope he makes it. At least I can say when his time is over that I cared for him and loved him and gave him the best possible life.......I just wish (no pun intended) I could tell him what he means to me, what they all mean to me......

My new little one, Lily, is so sweet...........Just a baby, 3 months old now and all of 3 pounds.....she comes in at night and snuggles down inside my robe while I type......and purrs, purrs, purrs.......it is so heartwarming......I get tears in my eyes sometimes at how wonderful the moment is....How anyone could hurt a little innocent like this is beyond me and if I had it MY WAY, whoever hurts an animal OR a CHILD would have the same thing done to them........

Super tired and I have a place in my back to the low left side where there seems to be a disk that spasms.......it is so painful I can't even tell you.......Yet I can't take pain medicines while typing because they make me too loopy and I have to be accurate. At least I have just 2 more midnights then on to afternoons on Sunday.......

Cant believe at 11 pm I will be able to go to bed......! what a luxury.

I have applied numerous other places and each time that I have taken a test I have failed....perhaps I should think about not being in transcription any more........I guess I thought after 17 years of doing this, that I could at least pass an employer's test.....Geez.........:-?


I hope all are doing well.

I am going to try and grab a couple more winks and maybe take a little more pain medication.......it is going to be a looooooong night.

All the Dr. Garbanzo Beans and their 5th cousins seem to be out in full force these days..........I do admire these physicians because after all.......I don't even speak a second language. I can only imagine how tough it is to do so........I just wish they had a little more finesse about it.......Still I am grateful for my job as I am grateful for all of you and your friendship.

You are all such a huge part of my life as is all of MMC.....A simple thanks doesn't seem enough but it is all I seem to be able to muster
