It's sunny

Well, I got the wedding done and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. It was due to start at 3pm but she wasn't doing very well so we waited until she felt stronger. Her father carried her from the house down the aisle - there were flowers everywhere - her mum followed on behind with her oxygen. They sat together at the front and I did the ceremony in such a way that he repeated his vows but I asked her the question (he said "I take you ......" and I said for her "Do you take....") so all she had to say was "yes". I did, however, make her repeat the words when they exchanged rings; I felt it was important for him to hear her say " I give you this ring as a token of my love and, when we're apart, look upon it and know I am with you" Gotta say, that started me off!!! She was taken back into hospital after the wedding and they've been told she won't see the weekend out.......that has to be one of the hardest things I've ever done BUT it was a good day because they love each other and they got married and they were happy today.

Let tomorrow look after itself.........
That made me cry. What a bitter sweet moment.

Is it just me or since this major Heat wave to hit pretty much all the states this year. Does it seem like all of sudden the summer is dragging a whole lot.

what a wonderful love story! They were blessed to have you be a part of their special day.
Thank you for sharing this story.

I've been running around tonight - but now its time to take it down a few notches!

Gotta get up at 3:30am to go for my run! Hahaha! You know you love running when...

I have to get up at that time because I have to leave the house at 6am to go to work - and I do a lot in the morning (like run/exercise, take Mercedes for her walk, shower, email my Mom, read devotions, and have breakfast).

I bought another Christmas present today! Listened to Christmas music on my MP3 player too. Well...I do that every day!

Have a merry evening everyone!

Good early evening, everyone. I overdid it today, so I am going to relax and read teacher stuff this evening. I made homemade macaroni salad, and hubby is cooking chicken out on the grill. When I got out of the car, it smelled so good. If I weren't so hungry, I would invite all of y'all over. Okay, okay, come on over! But someone must bring dessert. All we have are fresh strawberries!

Thank you, CM3 for your PM!!!

Carl seems a bit confused tonight...

Looks like he is saying, "huh"?

Yawn.......somebody is wore out....guess I'm going to be he party pooper and be the first one to leave the Pines tonight....see everyone tomorrow!

Good night, everyone. I am too tired to talk. Imagine that!!! Carl was impressed with the Camelback Mountains when I showed him the pictures. He thinks he actually posed for them! That hammy camel!

Hey folks!

Its been a long and unproductive day...I'm so sleepy, yet feel bad going to sleep because I really didn't accomplish much of anything at work or home today! My exhaustion will win out in the end though!

I did buy two Christmas presents today through my friend's 31 party. I was only going to buy 1, but my friend was close to getting bumped up to the next reward level, so I bought a few extra presents. I like getting presents checked off!

Tomorrow is a busy day! So I had better go whether I get back to work or head to bed. Take a guess which it will be...

Have a great night!
~Laney

I guess being exhausted didn't help me sleep. I fell asleep at 10:30 p.m., woke up at 12:00 a.m., went back to sleep, woke back up at 2:00 a.m. and never went back to sleep. I am now up for the day. This should be interesting to see how I function on 3 and half hours sleep and watching 3 grandkids all day. :o

Wish me luck! =)
