It's sunny
Well, I got the wedding done and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. It was due to start at 3pm but she wasn't doing very well so we waited until she felt stronger. Her father carried her from the house down the aisle - there were flowers everywhere - her mum followed on behind with her oxygen. They sat together at the front and I did the ceremony in such a way that he repeated his vows but I asked her the question (he said "I take you ......" and I said for her "Do you take....") so all she had to say was "yes". I did, however, make her repeat the words when they exchanged rings; I felt it was important for him to hear her say " I give you this ring as a token of my love and, when we're apart, look upon it and know I am with you" Gotta say, that started me off!!! She was taken back into hospital after the wedding and they've been told she won't see the weekend out.......that has to be one of the hardest things I've ever done BUT it was a good day because they love each other and they got married and they were happy today.
Let tomorrow look after itself.........
