Oh boy...I've got so much to catch up on! Its been such a busy weekend - that I haven't had a chance to be on the computer much.
In fact...hubby and I will be heading out to play golf again this morning. We are only going to play 9 holes though so we won't be gone as long...but there's lots of fun to be had!
Then we have front yard clean-up to do. Oh boy...I bet our neighbours will be throwing a party...hahahahaha! :lol:
I'm telling you...there is nothing like listening to MCR first thing in the morning (or...any time of the day if you ask me)!

I can't believe it's AUGUST! Only a month until I can put fall decorations up and not look like a lunatic!
Speaking of fall, we have a park we go to daily (if you are my Facebook friend, you probably see pics from there quite often!) and it apparently got hit pretty badly by the storm... it was so beautiful in the fall when all the leaves changed... I was so looking forward to taking pics of the boys playing in the leaves. My friend thinks that most of the trees will have to be removed. Kind of a bummer! But again, I am just so thankful no one was hurt!

Happy August first!!!!!!!
Woke up early to low rumblings of thunder and then loud growling from Bo. We had a few really good thunderstorms with lots of rain. The garden will be happy! Bo survived without a light on - I didn't see the need to put one on as the storm wasn't directly overhead and the trees were blocking a lot of the flashing. I think he was growling at the rain on the roof - it is somewhat noisy when it pours. I hate to wake him up, but it is time for him to eat. After the fur kids are taken care of, I will be getting ready for work. Hope to get back on here later in the day.

Drought has hit us so bad that hay is not growing. I have worked at our feed store for nearly 9 years and for the first time since I have been there we had to raise the price for a bale of hay 1 buck higher with a limit to purchase 10 bales. We have water restrictions as well. We sure do need some rain and drops in temperature. The livestock need feed!

August already!
July just raced by. Seems like such a short time ago my nieces left school for the summer and now they are just a couple of weeks away from gearing up for another year.
My older niece will be a university junior and the younger one starts at our local community college.
Time has sure passed! (Not just for the year - but also for their lives.)

You know, CM3, the answer might be that you just work better in the afternoon ... you're just not a night owl. Sounds like you're in the groove now!
compliment = someone says something nice
complement = something that completes something: The star on the top of the tree was a nice complement to the rest of the ornaments.
I must tune in and see what the all-music format sounds like ... I discovered that I can get MCR on my iPod Touch, patch it in to a speaker, and voila! portable MCR! (Can't listen in the car, though ... I need Wi-Fi to do it.)
Sage advice ... good thing to remember as you travel through life.

Good morning, Christmas friends. Man, we have a cold spell here in northern California. It is 60 degrees now and will only get up to the low 90s! Brrr! I will be heading out soon to get over to my classroom. I still have lots to do, but I have to pace myself. I also have a meeting with the new principal from 1-5 p.m. and with the other members of the Leadership Team to discuss assessments. Hope everyone has a great day. I have had Sprint for years and been very happy with them. I live in NY and the coverage is really good. Depending on where you live you may want to check out the coverage area map on their website to make sure its good for where you are. 4g service is still extremely limited around the country. I have the EVO 4g and love it, I've seen the 3D and wasn't all that impressed. I would recommend keeping a charger handy though as the battery life isn't fantastic but its a real powerful phone as far as capabilities go.
