Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!! The humidity has returned to central Indy along with the 90 degree weather. It's a good thing that fall is only 35 days away. I don't think I can take this much longer and I don't think my air conditioner likes running 16 hours a day. I have some cleaning to do today that I have been neglecting and I will also spend some time watching the nascar coverage. Then this evening I am going to my cousins house to watch the colts preseason game. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad it's Friday, and I hope it goes quickly! Tomorrow we have luxury-box seats for a minor-league double-header at Fenway, and we'll be seeing some friends we haven't seen in a LONG while. LONG = we haven't seen the baby they adopted yet, and she's a teenager now! Life can get away from you when you're dealing with everyday stuff.

I've been wanting to do the minor league games at Fenway for a few years now, it is nearly impossible to get tickets for the Sox unless you want to pay through the nose, the last time I went was 6 years ago we paid over $100 for 2 tickets 2 rows under the Dunkin Donuts sign in centerfield.

Hello all!

Thank you so much to everyone for the thanks and well wishes! Five days later, I still can't believe it happened! I catch myself randomly looking at my left ring finger and thinking, "Oh crap, it wasn't just a dream! Ahhhh!" lol

Currently I am waiting for Travis to finish up work and then we are heading to a local 1920's-built hotel for a venue visit. I went to a wedding there 9 years ago and it is still the best wedding I've ever been to. Hopefully the price works out for us, as I believe that would be the only thing holding us back.

Congratulations!!!!!!! I was a September bride, too (6 years ago on September 17th!) and it's a great time to get married! My sister chose September 18th last year ... guess it really is a good weekend, huh? lol!

Wow, yay for mid-September brides! I actually already have an invite for Pinterest but I have yet to go on and actually register (first it was because I was so busy with work...now it's busy planning for BFF's wedding and my own!). But I will get there soon.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is supposed to be a lot cooler today, down to 93 degrees! It is Hawaiian Day at school, so I have some hot pink stuff to wear. My lei is various shades of pink. There is no way, though, that I am wearing coconuts!!!! I did use coconut scented conditioner on my hair! Hope you all have a great Friday! I can hardly believe how close we are to the Season and to Christmas! At first, when Jeff proposed a goal of 20,000 post by Christmas, I did not think we would do it. Looking at the number of posts today, I think we will even go over that goal.

Good afternoon, everyone. Had a great day at school. Kiddos did great, even though all did not pass the spelling or reading test. Lots of them did well (80 or above!). Yippee!!! I think I mentioned before that I did my planning through January when I had broken ribs and could not do anything physical. Therefore, I do not have to use my weekends doing that; but I still need to unpack a few things. So I will be busy this weekend. I hope to be on later. If not, have a great evening!!!

Thanks! The prices are undoubtedly ridiculous, but in this case we got lucky---Mr. works at a firm that has a luxury box, and each year they have a raffle for tickets for the Futures at Fenway event. He won tickets this year. He won a couple years ago, too. We get to sit in the luxury box, but they don't provide food. Oh, well!

It's a "virtual pinboard" so you basically see ideas, recipes, clothes, whatever that you like and pin it to certain "boards" you create instead of just adding it to your favorites and letting it sit there, sight unseen, forever!! And you can follow your friends/strangers and get there ideas, too, repin them on your boards, etc. LOVE it - it has inspired me with my cooking and crafting!

That sounds pretty awesome! I always see things that I want to try at some point, but I gave up on listing them all on favorites. There is just too much to keep track of. So on this, I could have a board for cooking, crafts, Christmas, etc? And would they all be visible? I wouldn't have to wonder which link is which?

Okay, so today is kind of a monumental day at my house. For those of you that don't know, I'm the GM for my local Chick-fil-A restaurant and about 4 years ago, I added decals and turned my white SUV into a cow car to represent the restaurant. (CFA's mascot are cows that are holding signs that say EAT MORE CHICKEN).

Well, after 4 years, we started removing the spots from the car tonight and DH will finish the removal tomorrow! I can't wait to drive a normal car again!!! I enjoyed it for quite some time, but there just comes a point where it is no longer funny LOL
