They also have a picture of Santa that I fell in love with. It's pretty big so I don't know where I would store it during the rest of the year. Maybe I'll get it and just hang it in my bedroom all year.

This has been a long week thus far, my sister and bro in law left two days ago but it feels like forever ago. More Christmas magazines have popped out on the news stand this last week, I think I counted 3 more new ones. Please say a prayer for my in laws, they are in a bad situation right now, I don't want to go into details for their sake, but they need guidance quickly.

Back to the grind in the a.m. I feel like getting time to get here lately has been trying.

Hello all! It's been a few weeks since I've been around, but I have been quite busy...

I posted this on facebook already, so anyone who is friended over there already knows, but I also had to share with my Christmas family as well...

Travis popped the question on Sunday! We are planning on getting married in September of next year, and we have a visitation appointment with a venue tomorrow night. I have also started dress shopping already...I guess being a wedding obsessed person for over 20 years is really paying off! lol We are so excited and I can't even tell you how happy I am (and he really shocked me with the engagement...I knew it was coming but I had no idea when or where he would do it, or that he had even gotten a ring already!).

Just wanted to say that, and hi and I miss everyone here! I hope to get back to posting semi-regularly within the next few weeks, maybe after my best friend's wedding in Florida in two weeks. Or sooner than that hopefully. Take care, everyone!! <3

Binger, I don't know what's better....waking up to coffee or waking up to Friday....both sure are nice!

Had a large amount of rain yesterday. Went into where the farmers hang out when it's raining and they were complaining non-stop! Just two days earlier, they were complaining about no rain. They sure are a funny group, but I love them anyways (need to since my father in law is one).

I'm headed off to work. Friday is not the end of my week - so I have to wait one more day to be excited for the weekend. Here's hoping for a busy day at work so that we can get over this little slump we've had. They started road construction directly in front of the entrance to our restaurant AND school started back in session. So, we're so so so slow!

Tonight I'm able to get a piece of old kitchen appliance AND help a friend! We got a new (to us) oven a couple of weeks ago and haven't been sure what to do with the old one. It still works, so we didn't want to just throw it out. So it has just been sitting in the middle of our kitchen. Ugh! Well, a good friend from church posted on fb yesterday that her oven is dead. I talked to her immediately and now we get a chance to help our friends and clean out the kitchen. We'll be taking the oven over this evening! Yay!

Hello all. I just wanted to say good morning before my day kicks into full swing. We are having the "money people" come to the job site today, the best is they show up in suites to a construction site, like helloooooo McFly!!!!! (Now, I know my 80's friends will know that line and maybe a whole bunch more - tee hee).
