Happy Birthday, CM3! cheesycheesycheesy

I fell asleep during the Cowboys game and probably good thing I did. What I saw of the game was exciting but I guess it just didn't end too well. =(

One of our employees was wearing a Christmas Grinch T-Shirt yesterday at work. I told him he is my new hero! He laughed and didn't get it. I explained my enthusiasm for Christmas and he said he just wore because he didn't have enough clean t-shirts to choose from. Ha ha!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a pretty morning out there! I had hoped to start my day with some sausage I cooked on the grill yesterday. I got some cajun-spiced sausage from Bernie's and cooked it on the grill yesterday afternoon. My plan was to have it for breakfast this morning, and I woke up thinking about it. Well, I left it out to cool before it went into the refrigerator, and I apparently didn't tell Nancy. She thought it was leftovers that I had taken out of the fridge to throw away, so she threw it away! Grrrr.

I'll get over it....but, it'll take some time. :x

I hope y'all have a great day!

Chances are you will never get over it. LOL Last year I cooked a roast and had set aside a portion of it for real mincemeat pie and my wife accidentally threw it out too! I was devastated! LOL

I still don't think I'm over it, yet I just limp on with the memory of "what might have been"... LOL

Hi guys!! Hope you are having a lovely Monday so far!! Just finishing my fall cleaning and putting out the rest of my decor -yahoo!

Good Morning, My Christmas Anticipating Friends.

Indeed.
Fall is in the air and thoughts turn toward the holiday season.
Halloween is just next month, then Thanksgiving the following one.
But before Thnksgiving, Christmas Season 2011 begins on Nov 13, our chosen date.

How far away is that?
OK:
Days to the Season: 62
Days to Christmas Day: 104
Barely over HALF a week off now from the 100-day Christmas Day Milestone!
(And now you know.)

Hey!
I'm really starting to look forward to the opening of "A Christmas To Remember" in Crabtree Valley Mall. It should be here within the next 2 weeks!
I'll snap a photo at that point and post it to launch the Christmas Blossoms 2011 thread.
(Wow! We really are getting close to the Season, aren't we?)

It's a nice 70 degrees outside here at this hour under beautifully sunny, clear skies.
Sweet!

Well, you have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone.
I hope and trust your 2nd full week in September is off to a great start!

I was in Wal-Mart this morning and I overheard the manger talking to the floor staff about where the christmas stuff will be going, looks like it will be out soon !!!!!!!

Okay, Christmas family. It's official. I am retiring!!!!!!!!!!! I told the school superintendent today after school. I told him I would retire in November 2012, but he asked me to stay at least until Christmas vacation. I wanted to say, "The movie?" But I refrained being a smart aleck. I will finish out this school year and work until Christmas of 2012. My stomach is still churning because of this life-changing decision. Hubby is REALLY happy, so I guess I will be too! I guess I will have to stop spending money now!!!

WOW Seawaters that is awesome and yet I can see a scary decision that you made!!! But I have to say good for you!!! I haven't read all the posts I am catching up from Friday!!! (Whew a lot of work!!!) So hopefully this isn't a repeated question, what are your plans for after you are retired? I'll go through all the posts and read, but I must say if your husband is happy that is a great start!

Whew! what a long week it's been! I have alot to catch up on here,I hope all my Christmas buddies are doing great! I have 3 weeks till I come home to the states and can't wait to see the autumn leaves changing soon! have a great weekend everyone!

:wiggy: AWESOME!!! I hope the leaves are in beautiful form for your return home!!!

I am laying here in bed with a toothache (and I don't even eat sweets, drink sweets, drink alcohol, smoke or any of that stuff) but I still have a toothache! I guess you can just get one anyway! It's not that bad but bad enough to take some Advil to kill the pain. I will be ok though! =)

While I am laying here I am watching Rick Steve's European Christmas.

I am getting sleepy so if I don't get back on here, have a goodnight everyone! Sweet dreams! :!!

Ok a quick and natural remedy... Clove oil - it tastes a little funky but it works wonders and you can get through your day... Hope it is better :(

Happy Birthday, CM3! cheesycheesy

Happy Birthday, CanineMom! :)

Happy Birthday Caninemom!

Ditto!!

I was in Wal-Mart this morning and I overheard the manger talking to the floor staff about where the christmas stuff will be going, looks like it will be out soon !!!!!!!

There was a report on the radio about major retailers in our area putting out Christmas items in the next week or so. They are trying to extend the Christmas buying season by getting people in the mood early. They're playing right into our hands!

If it gets any worse let me know and I'll be right down with a pair of pliers.

OUCH!!! when I was watching the card fishing show I remember the one son on the Corniela (SP???) Marie did just that and is father (who passed) sad your not fishermen until you pulled a tooth with some pliers.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!! It is a cool foggy morning here in central Indy. Just perfect if you ask me. Well it would be perfect if I was sitting around a small campfire with a cup of warm apple cider. I don't know what I'm doing today. I have some work to do but I may put that off to tomorrow. I will be kicking back and watching the nascar race this evening. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Did you see that Dunkin Donuts has Hot Apple Cider? I wanted to try it, I am sure it isn't like homemade but it sure sounds yummy!!!:wiggy:

And with this post, HollyJells is the winner!!! And for her efforts, she gets a little more info:

Every Stompin' Tom fan knows that PEI is the home of Bud the Spud. PEI's rich, red soil produces fine potatoes, and who doesn't like potatoes? You can boil 'em, steam 'em, roast 'em, bake 'em, fry 'em, deep-fry 'em and serve them mashed, hashed, sliced, diced, whipped, in soup or salad, a la Lyonnaise or Duchess-style and so on and so on. You can even make pancakes, bread, cakes, doughnuts, and scones
with the humble potato.

Seawaters- the answer to your question would be POTATOES. It was and still is the highest grossing agricultural crop on PEI.

Good morning all you Christmas Kookies. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Good morning everyone! I went out to dinner with some friends yesterday to celebrate my birthday, and tuesday I will be going out with my family. I'm also really looking forward to fall, it needs to come already!
Have a good day everybody!

Sorry I am late - But HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!:wiggy:
