LOL wow, the things I have missed. Welcome home to GABULLDOG, sorry about the pupdog.
For everyone else having a ookie time just know I was right therer with you over the weekend, spent the whole thing in the hospital due to dehydration. But I am all good now (I hope). Which means we didnt get anything done this past weekend but will probably do it sometime this week.

Hope everyone has a great week......

I took my grandson to his first Cub Scout meeting and he had a blast!

He had brought home papers from school a few weeks ago to join and I had no idea that it was the members of my church and my pastor who are the leaders. They meet up at my church for meetings and it's good to know that I already know everyone there!

My daughter and son in law had to go sign papers on their house they are moving into so they were unable to attend but will be there next time around. I just might go again as well, I enjoyed it as much as my grandson did! You were right, Made, about being a great group to join!

I will be back on here tomorrow, time for bed. Goodnight!

I just went outside and it's HOT I missed out on most of the summer but it's HOT like august! I know there is a cool front coming through this weekend...and the temps look amazing and the weather is going to be beautiful!!
Brandi has changed around my house so much since I have been gone,Now I amtrying to look for a place to put the tree...she tells me it's way too early to worry about that.heh:( new furniture new everything. It looks great though I have to say. She gets home in 2 hours and I have just now cleaned the kitchen from out breakfast,so I need to get busy and brush snowball my brazialian Mastiff bulldog....he needs it desperatly!

Just do what we do, when it is time for the tree to go up you get to pick and move the furniture to accent the tree, and let her choose where the furniture goes the other 10 months of the year. cheesy

Well Folks, the trip is off.
We were just leaving Raleigh when a loud, high-pitched whine was heard coming from the front of the van.
We returned home and I took the vehicle into the shop. New front bearings and brakes are needed and are being installed.

Will try again same time next week.
(At least I won't miss the 'Pines tomorrow!)

Good evening,

Inventory is done for another month, next month I will have turkeys by the palletful to count. :-? I hate inventory. Sidney is doing very well, he followed the boys around all night, he loves those boys. Day off tomorrow, hopefully get that lawn done, and I m trying to think of something Christmassy to do, maybe I'll take a quick trip to Kmart see if they are set for Christmas yet.

Have a great night!

That's bad news, but I'm glad it happened while you were still close to home instead of way out somewhere. (There weren't any camel tracks near your van, were there...? Maybe Carl didn't want you to go and miss the 'Pines?)

Hey Guys! I got home at 2 am local time(est) and the first thing I noticed when I got off the plane was that my good friend From massechusetts who I have not seen in years showed up he is a dean of history at a set of colleges in Amherst. We have so little in common especially politically but when we are together I can talk to him forever because he is so smart and I ask alot of questions. Brandi of course is very pregnant now,I could not wait until I got back to find out the gender and it's a boy! it's so good to be home

am sure it is great to get home your family and be with brandi in her last few months of being pregnant. sorry about the lost of your wee dog just like losing a family member and is,nt it good that a old friend was there to meet you that was nice of him

Yes, Sidney came home, at about 5:45am JP was crying about Sid missing, when he looked out the window and saw Sid was sitting on the AC meowing to come in, my boys were so happy. It was tough going to bed last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I heard a horrible cat fight in the back yard, my wife and I ran out there to see if it was our Sid or neighbor cats, we looked for 20 minutes and nothing. It was after 11pm at that point. When I let Sid in this morning, he was bloody and hungry,so I am sure it was him I heard getting beaten up, he is passed out under my bed now. But we are all relieved he is home, one of the sweetest moments was when his sister/litter mate Ophelia saw he was home she went up to him and licked him and nuzzled him, she was watching the door all night last night, and Alex (another cat) was crying all night looking for him.

Glad to hear your cat came home safe

First Thank all for the warm welcome home! I slept sooo good last night, went to bed way early taped dancing with the stars...I never ever watch reality or really any tv but News...But i am trying to get into dancing with the stars and survivor...anyhow I taped it last night because we went to bed so early and I just went out on a quick run to the Minute Market and heard who got the Ax on the radio!!!! anyway I am pulling for Nancy Grace!(yes she is a former Ga Girl) I am going back to sleep I think after Brandi leaves for school...they are out tomorrow and friday for fall break, and it still feels like mid summer here...3 more days of humid sultry weather before A front comes through! the first big one of the season!
ALthough It was dry last summer and spring, with it being bone dry this summer and spring too was just too much for my treees the young maples and sycamores leaves are simply scorched and shriveling up and falling off...which means I will have to wait until late Novemeber to see my pear trees turn! I am planning a trip after the 13th of october..Im thinking around Novemember 2 if it is not too late to see the leaves change up in Extreme north Ga in Blairsville,or hiawassee,Ga Near the NC border...if anyone is famialiar with these areas in the Fall, will November 2nd be too late to view the briallant fall colours? Have a great day everyone!!

Well I am still truing to catch up, maybe it will never happen!!!

A slow-cooked, spicy applesauce that becomes highly concentrated - my dad used to spread it on toast like it was jelly. I'm thinking it would make a good cake/cheesecake topping/filling.

Meceka it does!!!! I have to pull out this recipe I use it on, it is a plain vanilla cake really with chucks of apples and I make two 8" round pans of it spread the Apple Butter between the two and make a cream cheese / apple butter frosting, I just add apple butter to my cream cheese frosting. It is a big hit!

Thanks, but last night was HORRIBLE. I got four new admissions in. Which is busy. Everytime I felt like I was getting caught up, something else happened. Hopefully tonight will be better!

Here is hoping you have a better night coming... I sometimes feel when that happens my work time goes by faster though...

So glad to hear Sidney came home! I love the name too! Hopefully his wounds heal up quickly!

Yes, I agree!!!

Yet again I have not read everything. Busy busy day! Soon as everything slows down I will try and catch up.
CAH, I don't think this thread ever slows up I am SO way behind!!!! Glad to hear about your Grandson's cub meeting what a happy coincidence!!!

YAY!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be another cool rainy day here in central Indy. Yesterday we just got a few sprinkles but today we could see more. I have some work to do today and then it will be time to head to the pines. I can't wait to see what Carl has come up with this week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
