I was a Cub Scout, too, and loved it! I still have my uniform!I took my grandson to his first Cub Scout meeting and he had a blast!
He had brought home papers from school a few weeks ago to join and I had no idea that it was the members of my church and my pastor who are the leaders. They meet up at my church for meetings and it's good to know that I already know everyone there!
My daughter and son in law had to go sign papers on their house they are moving into so they were unable to attend but will be there next time around. I just might go again as well, I enjoyed it as much as my grandson did! You were right, Made, about being a great group to join!
I will be back on here tomorrow, time for bed. Goodnight!

I'll be nearby that area in mid-October on a school trip with my son to Helen, GA. You should still be good with fall colors at that time.I am planning a trip after the 13th of october..Im thinking around Novemember 2 if it is not too late to see the leaves change up in Extreme north Ga in Blairsville,or hiawassee,Ga Near the NC border...if anyone is famialiar with these areas in the Fall, will November 2nd be too late to view the briallant fall colours? Have a great day everyone!!

I can't think about work today for thinking about what I've been eating or what I'm about to eat!
Does it still fit? :wink:I was a Cub Scout, too, and loved it! I still have my uniform!
November 2 would be a little late for NC but hopefully you will still find plenty of color in north GA.First Thank all for the warm welcome home! I slept sooo good last night, went to bed way early taped dancing with the stars...I never ever watch reality or really any tv but News...But i am trying to get into dancing with the stars and survivor...anyhow I taped it last night because we went to bed so early and I just went out on a quick run to the Minute Market and heard who got the Ax on the radio!!!! anyway I am pulling for Nancy Grace!(yes she is a former Ga Girl) I am going back to sleep I think after Brandi leaves for school...they are out tomorrow and friday for fall break, and it still feels like mid summer here...3 more days of humid sultry weather before A front comes through! the first big one of the season!
ALthough It was dry last summer and spring, with it being bone dry this summer and spring too was just too much for my treees the young maples and sycamores leaves are simply scorched and shriveling up and falling off...which means I will have to wait until late Novemeber to see my pear trees turn!
