I'm really not big on Halloween decorations but I LOVE Fall ones! I'm still trying to find Autumn mugs. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey do yall have a hobby lobby in Tally? I would look there if I were you! or maybe even Micheals could have them. I know one time My aunt in Tally drove to Valdosta to get her autumn decor!

Hey hold on a minute. I dip mine in shakes too!!!!! I learned to do both while working at Steak n Shake when I was young.

thanks everyone for thinking about my mom.

Mom's surgery is done. She had to have stitches put in.
Also she has a dangerous amount of pressure build up as a result of the surgery. Doc has put her on 4 kinds of drops and an oral meds to try to lower the pressure. She has to go into his office on Saturday morning to have it checked again.
Doc says he will be on call for her and if she has any pain she is to go immediately to the hospital where her will meet her.

Normally this is not a problem and goes away in a couple of days, but mom also has Pseudoexfoliation Glaucoma . . . which is already causing a problem with eye pressure.

I am taking her to my brothers place for a few days as they live only 10 min from the hospital (I am 45 min away)

I hope things work out all right for her ... please keep us posted.

Well I am back up,I guess it was too early to go to bed afterall! I am trying to decide on what to watch on tv in bed tonight when I do go to sleep. I watched Halloween II last night and forgot just how scary that movie was! I think I will watch Christmas vacation tonight because I have not seen it in a long time. I always have to have the tv on in bed,it is a habit I have had for years. Something about background noise I guess!

Good evening, everyone! I'm just getting up-was in bed all day today with a kidney stone. They're vicious little boogers, even if they are tiny. Spent the day curled up with my Halloween quilt, Christmas music, and cranberry juice, which made me feel slightly better. Hopefully it's all over for the moment, and I can go back to real life tomorrow. I hate being out of commission this time of year- there's so many pumpkin stands to visit, and all the Christmas things are coming out in the stores. It's not a good time to be stuck at home!

Crikey ! I am stressed to the MAX !! Off and on today my Wish has been having episodes of (sorry!) vomiting. I know it could be anything but of course, my fear is that is something to do with his heart or meds. I stopped several times to comfort him and tell him it was okay (hubby got the really nasty job ) ........I am so anxious right now I could spit nails.......and I haven't even eaten any !

I just hope this is not some acute occult process working on him......

I got three new Christmas CDs for my collection today From Amazon......actually they aren't new at all.......But two are classic:

White Christmas by Bing, The Andy Williams Christmas Album and a third one that is just beautiful - The Ultimate Relaxation Christmas.....!! I think since Wish is sleeping I will load them on my computer and then my MP3 player.......

It is going to be a sleepless night......I am so worried. I will be MUCH BETTER if Wish is okay and then much better after Next Friday. Stupid people predicting the end of the world - Geesh. (Yep, I am still grinding on that) Everything that my Christmas family told me was so wonderful but when you are an obssessive person, it is hard to let go and relax.......Oh well. Since the only way out is through I am going through it gangbusters !!

Good morning! I slept like a rock last night and feel amazing this morning! I jumped out of bed and was singing without realizing it! Isn't it funny how a good nights sleep can do that? when I was in my 20's I slept through the night all the time but since I hit the nasty nasty 30's things just are not the same anymore!!
I have a Dr's appt at 1015am and and have to fast until then because of a blood test I have to have.of course I am craving a steak biscuit from 'hardees'! I hope eveyone has a great morning and right now the temps are 62F and we have a warm day ahead,but I think it cools down in the next few days back to typical fall weather!

A steak biscuit? That sounds good, I wish we had a Hardee's up here.

What a crazy day at work, had an OSHA inspection, ever since the bank fire& those crane accidents it is crazy. I am all for safety, these inspection make me nervous though if they find even a cigarette (? SP) butt you can be fined & receive a violation, it can get very nervous we enforce the no smoking but some people will still try, they get caught and can be fined and lose their job. But with all that we came through great, at least on my floors, YAY!!!! I owe everyone an update on the Christmas Angel, but I am so tired I wanted to check in as I just was't able to earlier.

Sorry that I missed the month to reach the Christmas Season celebration this morning. It looks like everyone had a wonderful time, however. Not quite too busy at work yet, but we're currently working away from our desks, so there is not a whole lot of time on the computer - where I should be working. Oh well! At least I am getting paid!

It was a rainy day here in Ottawa today. There should be more rain tomorrow and the rest of the weekend, too. Soon, the average daily high temperature will be below 10C. Yep, the Season is on its way!

It's already 10 PM and I am sleepy. Although it was only a four day week, I am very sleepy and ready for the weekend! No plans yet, but I am sure that it will be a good one. Perhaps Kim and I will visit the mall. We'll see!

Oh, ouch! I thought I had the roughest week this week with the food poisoning, but a kidney stone must be even more painful. I hope it's out of your system now.

In my 30's I am tried, well I turned 40 back in Feb, I feel as good no wait I think I feel better then when I was 25, because now I eat right, I don't want to hear anymore of that you are in some of the best times of your life... Ah, as my Nana would say these crazy young-ins, they act old and they are mere babes, tee hee...

Happy thursday everyone! I just got back from work,and I had to get a Rx filled at the pharmacy and when I was waiting I bought MORE Halloween lights. 100 orange lights.I put them on the fireplace mantel.I guess I will leave them up until nov 13th when I replace them with Christmas lights and decor! I don't know what is cooking for dinner tonight,maybe homemade pizza! it's very warm outside and muggy....can't wait for tomorrow when a front comes through and it will get cool! This type of secondary glaucoma is called pigmentary glaucoma. Another flaky material (of unknown origin) that can deposit in the anterior part of the eye can cause a similar type of secondary glaucoma called exfoliation syndrome (pseudoexfoliation).] which is already causing a problem with eye pressure.

I just got done working but I still have to work tomorrow and maybe Saturday - the company is calling for 8 hours mandatory this weekend and since the pay period ends on the 15th, that means Friday and Saturday I have to do a total of 8 more hours......Oh well...

Wish is still good......He is laying peacefully asleep by me as I type....I don't remember him getting old.. Time passed so quickly....

How were the Pines on Wednesday ??? I missed out again !

Friday again " where does the weeks go ?
Was not on for a few days and took a while to catch up.
Starting gettting the christmas pallets in as well as other stuff and hell they are hard work
I must have priced about 500 items. and there is still alot to check and price and still have another 8 pallets yet not counting the tree,s (sometimes i think i overdo the christmas stuff but it all goes so maybe not)
I want to decotate the shop and get all out but i fighting with myself not to do it to the 1st nov
But at the same time my storage is getting in sort supply and there is more to come.
Weather there is cool this morning but its dry at the minute.
I usually waken about 7 in the morning and you waken and you dont no what time it is as its dark, and the time goes back in a week or 2 so it will be getting dark at round half 6 . i love it as some how its a sign christmas is coming. dark cold days of christmas i use to hear my gran say
