Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good evening,

Another oddly busy day at work, it was almost Saturday busy, we could not keep up with the demand as it was only myself and another employee. Needless to say I am very tired tonight. I almost bought my wife her first Christmas gift today, but I decided not to at the last moment. I get home and my wife bought it for herself today, I said to her I was this close to buying that for your Christmas gift today. In years past we had a rule not to buy something for ourselves after Oct. 1 as a way to make a Christmas list for each other. One more day of work, then a day off.

Thank you! I like the job, just wish it paid more than minimum wage. I'm a little over-qualified for minimum wage!

Morning everyone
Guess what its raining AGAIN to day. i know there is some of you guys say you wood love some rain but we get enough to do everyone. just sometimes you get fed up with it

Hope everyone is doing good . just think 10 weeks from today will be christmas eve.
Gonna try and get all done as quick as possable to day and then chill out( but am sure that wont happen )
One of my fella mates is on the drink again . was on it last week as well. he has a drink problem and everytime he falls of the wagon his mum calls on me as he had a history of being angry in drink. His dad was worst and think it left scares with the mum. she think every time the son goes on it .hes gonna be the same. so she takes panic attacks. cant eat and cant stay in the house.
I dont no what she thinks i can do with him as he is hard to talk to. but nothing beats trying. think she likes me there when he comes home as she thinks am not scared of him( i am a bit as i have seen his anger in drink, but i dont bow down to him) hes just one of these people that has a lot of anger inside him going away back to childhood and his teens,
She always calls on me as she know i use to work taking calls from people with problems who wanted to talk. so my day might be not so easy going !!!!!!!!!

Good evening everybody. My day was great. Caught up with my grandfather and decided what phone I want for Christmas, which is a Samsung Nexus S. Just watching Home Alone and having burritos. Hope everybody has or will be having a great day.

Hi Christmas family! So I know I've missed a lot over the past couple of days! I had been reading some posts here and there, but then never got to reply. Weds and Thurs, my husband worked nights, which put him leaving for work around 4 and I worked nights too, so until my sister got here to watch the kids, I had them until I went to work around 10. I was busy with that and work in general. Thurs into Fri I ended up working a 12 hour shift - 8 pm and I never got out of there until 8 am, so I was very tired too and I ended up falling asleep last night at 9 pm on the couch.

Anyway, this weekend off. As I know that I have missed a lot, as much as I would like to get caught up on things, I know I will not have the time even the next two days to get caught up on everything. If there is any big news I missed, someone write back to me and let me know, PLEASE! Thanks! Otherwise, anyone who is feeling ill, I hope this finds you well. Anyone who is need of congrats, CONGRATS! Anyone you needs a prayer, I am sending you or you're family one now. If I left anything out, know that as a part of your Christmas family, I am still thinking about all of you!

We have lots of cleaning to do today, then we have a Halloween party to go to tonight. My parents are going to watch the kids for us so we can go. Hope everyone has great day and I will be checking back in. Oh and by the way, it's game day, go State!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy. I don't know if I'm going to get to enjoy it though because I have a lot of stuff to do today. I was out at Crabtree Valley Mall with my father and sister to eat supper yesterday evening and I noticed they have started decorating the main mall already!
(Note to self: MUST go back with my camera today and get some photos for the Blossoms thread!)

my father in law was an alcoholic and my husband went to that group and it really helped him.

Wow! Realy, Crown?! That is exciting! I look forward to those photos! I was talking to my boss yesterday about Christmas - apparently, she is a fanatic - and she said that a mall in western Ottawa has started decorating, too! I'm not sure if she meant the entire mall or just the stores, however. Still, the news made me want to visit and take pictures as well!

Kim wants to go to Old Navy today, so perhaps I will return with some photos for the Christmas Blossoms thread, too!

Good morning, everyone!

A windy day here in Ottawa. Rain is returning again this afternoon, too! Kim, Mike and I are going on a grocery run within the next few minutes to save some money. The grocery store near our house is overpriced, so this will certainly help our wallets!

It's almost time to go! Now that Thanksgiving is over, I'll keep my eyes open for any Christmas treats as I walk through the aisles. I'm sure I will come across something!
