Not sure what I'm going to be doing today. I do know I should be working on my college applications... but I just don't feel like doing it today, haha.

Evening everyone
what a day!!!!!!!
Got up this morning. and truth i just got he tea in me and way i went to get dug into sorting the christmas stuff for the shop
Taking it from one place into the jeep . then from jeep into the car. X by 3
Got soaked twice as uaual its raining there.
And the same tomorrow as only about 1/3 of it in as it very hard to do it when people are in and out. at least sunday the shop is shut
My mate ont he drink this weekend again. o i dont no what is gonna be done with him. hes away down a slippy road again that he was doing so well to stay on the straght and narrow
1st time was on today ,must have been about 4 pages to catch up on.
But all seems well so that good. hope it stays that way with you all

hi cm3. Wood your migraines be any thing to do with stress. as you had the mammo this week and wee harlowe to take to de. my mate tahes them and lots of time it stress that does it to her. not all the time . hopefully iy will leave you
Nit sure if i should go out tonighe with a few mates . will see when i get some food in me. dont even know if i want chinese. pizza or indian.. dont really no a lot at the moment

I have had a migraine off and on since Tuesday this week. I am going to take a bit more medicine and call an evening after I listen to some more Christmas music, of course !! I cancelled my mammo appointment and recheduled. I just couldn't handle having to do that and work and everything else today on top of the headache. But eventually I will get it done.......

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!!!! We are off to a chilly start here in central Indy today. We are headed into the high 60's by the end of the day though. I have some cleaning to do today and then I am going to kick back and relax for awhile. I'll probably throw a Christmas movie in the DVD player and make some hot chocolate. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

No frost here this morning, but I am drinking hot cocoa :grin:

Cool and sunny here---a nice October day. Went out to a local store called Building 19---they buy up overstock and damaged/dinged items and so forth, and sell them at a bargain. Got two $25 books of crochet patterns for $3.99 each, plus a crockpot cookbook for $5.99 and a book of non-copyright Christmas clip art (complete with a CD of the graphic files) for $2.99! And they've rearranged the store with new shelving, so everything is neat instead of tumbled around like a yard sale. You never know what you'll find there, and it's fun looking around.

What great deals you found - it is so much nicer when the stores are clean - more likely to browse and buy then! There used to be a store similar to that one in BC, but one year they raised their prices by at least a 1000 percent and shortly after closed. I always liked going there because it was something my mom and I liked to do together, the floor had the neatest squeaks, the ceiling was tin and the craft department was an entire floor.

I am done with work for the day - thank goodness - I had trouble with my download speed today and it set me back a bit, but all is good now.

I am making a pot of end of the season chicken chowder - smells yummy! My brother gave me some Japanese eggplant that I haven't a clue as to how to cook so I will be doing some recipe searching. Tonight, I will be reading and maybe working on an afghan. Last night I started a new mystery series, The Booktown Mysteries by Lorna Barrett. The first one is real good - I'm over halfway done already.

Work was actually a good day, but it's done until Monday. Just a short 9 days until Music Choice plays the best music they play all year. 3 more weeks from tonight we will be welcoming in the season, I look forward to doing it again like last year. Getting ready for dinner in a few minutes.

I think this is my first time posting in this thread. Anyway, Thursday morning I got my flu shot while at the doctor's office and (unfortunately) it has been making me feel yucky all day today! BOO!!! :-?

I think I need to curl under the covers this evening and watch the Hallmark Channel. :

It's so fun watching my boys grow up, my little guy is really starting to get excited for Halloween. He has so many questions about the holiday asking what type of candy he will get, if he will get rocks like Charlie Brown did, he is getting so smart doing his ABC's, his coloring is improving, saying that L is what his name starts with when he sees it on a sign. My older boy loves to draw, he was drawing when I got home from work at 4:30, he stopped for his bath and dinner but continued until 7:30, he has such an imagination and his pictures are amazing for a 6 year old, I suggested to him, he should look into architecture when he gets older. He has such a love and compassion for nature and animals, our cats love him, they jump into bed with him and cuddle right into him. He is one of the most well behaved kids at Cub Scout meetings, which has been so surprising since most of the time he is a VERY energetic kid, but seeing him sit there soaking up all he can learn has been eye opening. I am so proud of my boys. Santa has been watching.

Well it is late Friday night and I am working on what I am going to post on day # of the special posts day. I really hope I live up to the ones from last year. My Snickers is lying next to me and my two kitties are next to me as well, one is on the arm rest and the other one is on the head rest, they are too cute. We are headed to Montauk tomorrow we will do the Montauk loop hiking trails I love the feel of the fresh air and the view of the ocean, we are tying to plan a trip to Washington State as we have never been there.

Not only does this sound like a great evening, LB, but I bet you were very inspired with your 3 fur loves beside you! Have a great weekend, friend! Sounds like it will be beautiful!

I followed that tragic and bizarre story too, I was so disgusted by the way it was handled, with all the resources of the Columbus Zoo only 50 miles away, you would think something could have been done to save more of those innocent animals lives, granted I understand that public safety was an issue, but still something should have been able to be done to keep both the public safe and save more of the animals, just a very sickening story.

My thoughts exactly.Very sad story. Hopefully they'll learn from this, and be more prepared if there is another next time =(

My family used to go to a cabin up north Wisconsin every year. I miss it so! Some of the best memories of my childhood were made there. I bet your leaf colors are gorgeous there. Enjoy your time at the lake!

On my 3rd cup of coffee, my brain is coming up with all kinds of ideas that I would like to do today but I don't think there is enough time to do them all today. I am about to head out and get some groceries but going to stop on the way to look at the Christmas stuff at Lowes, Home Depot and Michaels (Michaels has Lemax village pieces on sale already, hope to find a couple new pieces for my Christmas village)

My husband & I have been doing housework, yardwork, and running errands. Nevada just passed a law on not being able to touch or talk on your cell phone while driving unless you have a bluetooth type of device. So, we also had to run to Verizon to get set up with those. We also stopped & picked up some pumpkins to carve. My hubby does at least 5 each year before Halloween. He's getting to be the master at them. He even bought a special dremel he can't wait to try out.

All in all, it's been quite a busy day so far!

Soon, we are going to take Harlowe for a walk. It's gorgeous, sunny, and about 80 degrees. We also are pet sitting for our neighbor's 4 dogs, so we'll go check in on them too. Later this evening, we will catch up with some old friends who are in town visiting.

A fun day! We went into Brookline on an errand, had pizza for lunch, and stopped at the New England Book Fair (it's actually a store, not an annual book fair). We got there only a half hour before they closed, but we still came out with two bags of books, some for us, some for gifts. I found a nice hardcover New Yorker anthology of Christmas stuff for $9.98 that I'm looking forward to getting into. We COULD go back to the NE Book Fair tomorrow---I'd enjoy having more time to browse (it's a huge, sprawling building full of shelves)---but I'd better go easy on the spending, as I have more Christmas shopping to do.

Morning. Just chilling out today and relaxing after a hard day of off-season training yesterday. Soccer is months away, but a lot of people tend to lose fitness during the off-season, so that's why I train. It's hard enough to maintain it after a long break. I'm a striker and I hold the record for most goals scored in a season, which is 28 goals. That was last year. Yesterday, I just did a lot of shooting, since I am wanting to make my strike even more potent. I found out yesterday that i can hit the cross bar from the half-way line. My strike is incredibly powerful and I just want to make it more deadly, my dad calls me "The Goalkeeper's Nightmare.". Have a good day everybody.
