lunchtime is here...same ole same ole for me..Turkey sandwich and an apple. I hope the afternoon passes as fast as the morning has. I am seeing more and more Christmas commercials on the tv. I imagine they will really start up full force after monday. I don't know what we are doing for dinner tonight. I ate chicken and rice yesterday and I do not want to see chicken any time soon! Have a good day,and to all that are talking about seeing a few snowflakes soon...I am jealous.

Well, job will be available in January, so I will go back and see him then! Nervous for no reason, but now I have it out of the way for next time!!!

Now I have more time to get ready for my cake decorating class at kids company this afternoon.

Happy Rudolph Day Christmas friends! Just think in one month it will be Black Friday and Thanksgiving will be over =0/.... time is starting to go by too fast now. I hope November and December go by super slow but you all know they always fly by!

Im having some minor surgery done next Wednesday (and Im looking forward to listening to Christmas music on music choice tv channel all day while I recoop).. nothing major but it has had me a little worried, getting myself all worked up and have been throwing up , upset stomach a lot because of it! Been busy at work but hoping to be able to get back on here a few times a week again! I miss you guys and I hope you all are doing well!

Hello Christmas family! It's sooo great to be caught up on the countdown! The household is pretty much back to normal again and the kiddos are almost 100%. EA now has a swollen eye, which the last time she had a viral infection, the same thing happened. At that time, the doctor had no idea why it happened, but said with some allergy medicine, with time, it would go away. It took a few days, but it did go away. This time, the same thing has happened, but she has already had it for 2 days and it hasn't improved at all. I guess I will just keep an eye on it. Otherwise, both kids are better.

In other aspects, I am off tonight. Thank goodness. I worked 5 days straight and work was super busy. I need a day off. Trick-or-treating is Thursday here and we're taking the kids out. EA is excited, even though she doesn't fully understand. It will be a fun time.

Stressful day at work, I had to train with my store manager today, I have known her for years, but I have always felt she has never really liked me much. It worked out well, I learned a lot but I still don't feel comfortable around her. Day off tomorrow, I don't have much planned it is supposed to rain, so raking is more than likely out.

I got on early today thinking I would make a little extra time and much to my suprise, there was hardly any radiology !! I don't know if this is because it was a slow day on the rad front or if I just screwed up too many times.....In any case, I had to type big ol'fat goobers all night !!! (well....I dont actually know that they were fat and that doesn't matter anyway, but they WERE DEFINITELY GOOBERS !!)

If I would have had one more ESL tonight I think my brain would have exploded (itwould be a small explosion).

Ey Yi YI.....I wrote to one of the folks in charge and asked what's up with the rad disappearing......Don't know if she is going to like my questioning but I felt I had to ask.....

Well well well. It's Pinesday again! Carl was singing Jingle Bells as I walked in and he had a Halloween costume on. He is dressed up as Santa. Go figure. HAH. And it looks like they are playing "Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" today at the Pines too! "I got a rock". hah. Friday a friend comes to visit! I haven't seen him for a good 6 years. Going to be fun. Just at work right now drinking an extra large coffee. Boy I need it. William keeps getting into hitting fits. Sigh. To be expected! Boots (my cat) keeps running around the house in the evenings. She is 13 years old and still plays like a kitten. She also goes nuts when she sees the lights from a car on the wall. She jumps up and smacks the wall. Sheesh! But she loves me. So that's all that matters. Cant wait to carve the pumpkin this sunday. I will have to figure out a good face. There is a pumpkin carving app for the ipod too. That will help me decide. November 1st is decorating day at my desk at work. People expect me to do it too lol. Well back to work I go. That must have been so tough, I am dreading the day my boys start questioning the existence of Santa.

It was very tough ... we were debating on whether to tell her or try to get one more year but we felt it was best to be honest with her since we we really promote being honest/no lying in the our house. Plus we didnt want the other kids at school to give her a hard time over this.

We've made it half way through the week- woohoo!!

Not much going on today, besides the usual. The weather is great right now! It was cool & in the 50's this morning, with a high of 72 for the afternoon. It rained a bit on my way in to work, then the sun & a rainbow came out. Very pretty!

Can you believe we're down to 59 days?!?

On to Christmas decorations...Do any of you wrap garland around a railing/on a staircase? I do every year, but never do lights because of the cord issue. I usually do the pine boughs ( rustic ones with snow, pinecones, and berries) and weave in some festive ornaments. Every year, I look for a solution with the lights. Do any of you have any advice? Is there a way to hide the cord under the railing? The other issue I have is that there's no convenient plug-in, and I don't really want a long extension cord. Hmmm...

Glad you have/had the night off. That must be the best to see and feel their excitement, have a wonderful time and enjoy!!!

Very nervous about the interview and road test tomorrow, not at all sure I am doing the right thing even going, knowing how much I disliked being on the road last time I tried trucking. But not working much is a pain to, especially when trying to pay bills!

Hello everyone.
I've had a very stressful past 24 hours. Yesterday, my mom put Sergeant's flea & tick product on my cat Louie. A few hours later, Louie had a seizure. This consisted of him shaking, twitching, drooling excessively, and being unable to walk. We had to rush him to the nearest animal hospital where we were immediately charged $600, and that was the minimum payment. We struggled to pull together the money, but we had to, for Louie. He had to spend the night there, and he had another seizure. In the morning, we were told we was in critical condition all night and we need to take him to another vet, but we don't know if we can because we will be charged another $600, and we simply cannot afford it.
This cat is like my baby, and I pray to God that he will get better.
And as a warning to you all who have pets: DO NOT USE SERGEANT'S OR HARTZ FLEA & TICK PRODUCTS.
I don't know why these products are still on the market! Reviews online say that these have caused dogs and cats to be blinded, have seizures, and even die.
So please, be careful with the products you use on your pets!

Snowangle, sorry this happened to your Louie, this product is scary that way, you really do not know who or which pet it will adversely effect. The chemicals they use are not the same as Advantage or FrontLine I know a lot of people who can use it just fine and then there are ones like your Louie, sorry about the money I understand how this might feel, talk with the vets they can help you with payment plans, no joke. I need to catch up on the thread but will be hoping only good news follows, I will be send a pray for your Louie.

The season is here in just over 2 weeks, go with it! I want to put my tree up and decorate the whole house right now myself, but it is a bit early still for my wife. I will start decorating around Nov. 10.

I don't get to start on the tree until Thanksgiving.....But my nativity scene and Santas will be up (Lord's willing) NEXT WEEKEND !!!!!!

It is a raw, rainy day here, but I have the beef stew cooking for dinner, a good, warm, stick to your ribs type dinner. Just sitting here listening to Christmas music, thinking about the upcoming season, and how excited I am for it. We or I should say my wife volunteered us to host Christmas Eve this year, we usually get it every other year, but with the issues with my in-laws health, it sort of fell to us. My wife says she will do most of it, since I will be recovering from surgery, I hate not being of much help, and I will probably end up helping more than I should.

Good afternoon Christmas family


In just about an hour and a half another shift starts....but this is my Thursday so only one more to go after today ! It is supposed to be getting much colder here soon. I hope so !!Can't wait until the first snow ! On Tuesday Music Choice Sounds of The Seasons should be switched to Christmas Music 24/7 !! Yipppeee !!!

Ivy seems to be doing well even though the ligament in her leg is torn........She is 13 and I am afraid for her to undergo surgery. She doesn't seem to be in pain at all and if she rests for a while she walks perfectly normally so I am going to watch her.

Wish is doing excellently ! He has started playing with his toys again !!! I didn't even realize he had stopped......His coat seems shinier too !!

Clancy is doing very well also. She thinks she is still that little baby I used to cuddle in my arms.......She gets on my lap still - all 96 pounds of her - but it's okay....She will always be my baby. I just hug and kiss her and tell her (as I do all of my furkids) that I love her.

Smokey and Lily are doing well also. Lily may actually be 6 pounds now !! I still think she is a pygmy kitty....They go on "adventures" together in the breezeway (which is locked solid ) ....I think it makes them feel they are in the wild or somethng !!

I am hoping to go to Hobby Lobby on Friday. The ornaments for my small tree are MIA..so that means I must have new ones !!
