Hi everyone

Hope you are all doing well... I haven't posted really too much today... DON'T laugh I have a HORRIBLE case of poison ivy... Can you believe it - I tell you it is a pain!!! I made a DR appt so hopefully it get better soon. But, it is kind of a funny story, I saw it and touched it but didn't know it was poison ivy until I started getting these red bumps.

So, I am laughing at myself and my pink lotion all over my arms and legs:lol: I look like quite a sight!!!!

I hope it clears up quickly, I am quite lucky I am not allergic to poison ivy, I use to walk through it barefoot when I was a kid and never had anything show up. I wouldn't touch it now, I know we all change as we get older. cheesy

I've decided to countdown to Christmas in 10's it's made it seem that little bit closer, although I strangely don't want it to get closer due to it all being over again for another year

Good evening,

Long day, I had a hard time getting up this morning, but I got to work myself and one of my associates tackled working the freezer to get it back up to par with all the turkeys in there. I went to lunch, I went and ate in my car and proceeded to fall asleep, I woke up after I should have been working, ooops. Day after tomorrow, I have to run down to my surgeon's office to drop off my paperwork for him to fill out for my job. I will be trying to get more decorating done also.

In our newspaper there was an insert this week from AARP. An article related to home remedies and suggested that dishwashing soap is good for poison ivy and poison oak. It has something to do with removing oils from the skin in the same way it removes oil and grease from dishes.

Well it looks like the storms have passed for now and we were spared the worst of it. It sounds like there is a lot of damage north of us and south of us. Nothing to bad though. The storms did cool it off some but I am still sitting here with the windows open. It's hard to believe that it's the week before thanksgiving with it being so warm out. Usually we would be worrying about snow not tornado's. Well I am still exhausted so I am heading to bed. Goodnight Again!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was reading the posts from Sat night I was sure I missed a few, and it was SO cool re-reading it, what a history, how. Cool, I just am so glad I found this site and joined in, I can say I miss it when I don' t get a chance to post. I know it is odd but I actually read each post and it is almost like we are really talking, I have an image in m head of how each of you may sound and be like - I feel like we are friends, you all know a lot more about me then most. Nearly finished watching the Packers destroy the Vikings. I honestly did not predict this much of a blowout. Great to see, though!

I had a great first day at my job. Very excited for the rest of the week. Right now, I am exhausted. From work to the gym, to this Packers game, I think it is time for bed. Hopefully I will have more time to stop in tomorrow. My account at work has not yet been setup, as soon as it is, I'll be sure to pay my regular morning visits.

Good morning! I have not been outside yet this morning but the computer says it's 54F outside,going to get all the way up to a jaw dropping 84F today.Then maybe possibly a passing shower tonight. Anyhow I hope today goes as smoothly and fast as yesterday did,I heard from my mom last night and my dad got out of ICU and is in a regular room. I hope he gets into the Rehab floor before thanksigiving,but either way I just hope he makes as much of a recovery so that he can have some independence.Thanks everyone for the prayers! I hope everyone has a good morning!

Morning! Hope this finds all doing well. Busy week here as basketball has started. Tonight we play away, plus we have parent/teacher conferences, so it'll be around ten before I get home again. Then more duty on Thursday and Friday. But once we get to the weekend....it's no more duty for me for a week! Can't wait!

hard to believe, i know, but i wish we had some cooler weather. feels like april or may here. i'm jealous, hmmm.

i'm w/ you on the weather dawg, just too warm. maybe it will be like cah said theirs is, warm 1 week & cold the next, which will be thanksgiving. lots of people will get sick from it though, let's hope it gets cooler & everyone's good to go. i was so glad to hear that your dad did get taken from icu. still praying for him, & just wait he's gonna do much much better, i've got faith in that.
