******** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 10 *******

Good Mor......well......actually Evening here in good old EST.

Crown here, posting the count early as I must be off first thing tomorrow morning and won't have a chance to get by here.
As such:
Days To Thanksgiving Day: 2 (DAY AFTER TOMORROW, Folks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 33 (Close to ONE month!)

My, my how time has flown.
This close to Thanksgiving already!
(I can almost taste the turkey.)

Carl promises a great lead-in to Turkey day at the 'Pines on Wednesday.
Lots of Thanksgiving decor and traditional Thanksgiving dishes.

Oh! And before I forget -- one free slice of pumpkin pie to have with the ususal fired twinkie and beverage of choice.
There's a rumor the twinkies will be shaped like pilgrim hats but.....well....you never know with Carl in charge.

You have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!

OK who else is doing the Turkey Bowling at the Pines?

YABBA!

I am exhausted again, I will wish you all a good night!
Turkeys need rest too! Be sure to get some much needed rest!

Thanksgiving is in a couple of days. What are you thankful for?

I agree with Coach, I am VERY thankful for all of you! Even though we never met face to face I feel a close bond with you all and enjoy our conversations throughout the year.

I am thankful for my family, friends, furchildren, my job, my church, my home and all the other necessities that God has provided me.

Even if you are somewhere you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, still tell us what you are thankful for. =)

Good Tuesday morning. Two days till turkey. Aw. Have a great day.esome i say. Speaking of awesome i have to say that crown's countdown is the most awesome idea on the entire internet. It truly helps keep Christmas going all year long. It is a bit rainy today here in the northeast. I can hear the turkey gobble from here.

Good evening,

First of all, I just want to apologize for being pretty anti-social for the last week, it has been probably the roughest week I have ever had at work, but all my numbers are way up, and for that reason I got one of my associates finally promoted to full time. I feel good for him, he has done a great job and it is well deserved for him. We have been kicking butt, and my area has carried the store. Tomorrow, no rest for the weary here, I am planning to get all of my outdoor decorating done, and two of my trees inside up and lights on them.
I am exhausted again, I will wish you all a good night!

tiss the season to be busy...wait, that's not right, but it is true!
I am doing all my outdoor stuff the next couple of days because it is going up to 10c...and still no snow in sight. (really strange for here)
Anyway, I am rambling...glad you found your way back!

Love pumpkin pie, do you think pilgrim shapped fired twinties will taste good on it?

Pilgrim hat twinkie's, free pumpkin pie, and Turkey bowling. It sounds like we are going to have some fun tomorrow.

Oh great idea!!!!!!! I wonder if we could even get Carl to put pumpkin pie spice in the batter for the Twinkie's.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is going to be another rainy day here in central Indy. I just hope it stops before Thanksgiving. My youngest niece is having a Thanksgiving feast for the families at her preschool today. My sister volunteered to be in charge so I have to go help set all the tables up and cook the hams. Then it will be back home to make the macaroni salad and a cherry pie. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

The kids get out of school at noon today, so I get to have lunch with them and their mom! I get so used to being with them at lunch during the summer, and it's a little lonely during the school year. I live, work and eat lunch in a 2 mile radius, so after lunch I go home for a while. I usually watch TV with Lulu, our cockapoo, but I'm happy to have the kids the rest of this week!

The man came to shake my pecan trees yesterday, but most of my trees are too large in diameter for his machine to grip, so he couldn't shake all of them. After he left, there were pecans everywhere! I picked up a 5 gallon bucket full in 15 minutes! I'll try to get some to the market by tomorrow.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!

very chilly morning here! No snow, just chill and a thick layer of frost on the car.

Working on the gingerbread house can be very messy. Just finished cleaning up the kitchen and sweeping the floor. But the roof is thatched (tropical theme this year, made from shreddies) Now I am off to the store to look for more candy for decorate it with.

hope you all have a great day!

Tell me about a mess!!! I did a lot of baking yesterday and it seemed like it took me forever to clean the kitchen when I was done!

Can't wait to see pictures of your gingerbread house!

:piggyback:Hi Everyone!

Hope you are keeping well - only 2 big sleeps until Thanksgiving holidays. I will be thinking of all my friends over the water!

My tree still isnt up yet its now a whole week late, but we move on the 1st Dec so before I unpack a box or suitcase I will be putting the trees up around the house! The children cant contain their excitment any more (niether can I!).
Tonight I will be writing my christmas cards to you all - I have mince pies and Baileys at the ready.
Ill go and take a look at some of your posts and report back later.

Good morning, everyone!

It seems a little later than it truly is. I've only been at work for about 2 hours and 20 minutes! Happy Tuesday. One day closer to the weekend... well, at least for me. Great to hear that most of you get to enjoy a fabulously long Thanksgiving weekend, which begins today. I am sure the festivities will be very enjoyable.

The weather was a little chilly this morning. It was a nice -7c as I walked to catch the bus for work. I enjoy this weather. The good news is, we may be in for snow tomorrow. The bad news, it won't last. The weekend will see an increase into double digits (50s), once again. This shouldn't happen on the final weekend of November! At least the 14 day forecast predicts that the temperatures will be on an quick decline into traditional, Chrsitmas Season weather!

Last night was enjoyable. Following the gym, I made a delicious chicken dinner, which was followed by an evening of watching hockey. It started with the return of Sidney Crosby, but as soon as the Bruins came on, it remained on the Bruins/Canadiens game until it ended. Great to see the Bruins win a 1-0 game against the Habs! And, of course, it's always great to see the classy Andrew Ference score in Montreal!

Not much in store for today. I will return to the gym after to work and then I will probably just stay inside. Maybe watch a Christmas movie?

I am excited for the 'Pines tomorrow! As long as Carl allows Canadians to double dip in the Thanksgiving festivities, that is?! What I wouldn't give for another piece of pumpkin pie!! Yummy!

Until then, have a great Tuesday, everyone! We are only three days away from the one month until Christmas milestone!! The excitement continues to build!

It's wonderful to visit here and see folks bubbling over with Thanksgiving and Christmas anticipation---and being able to share in it makes it more wonderful. Bless you all!

How do I track my cookbook on PayPal?

When my cookbooks shipped, I got emails from PayPal letting me know, and each one contained a link to the tracking.

I heartily agree. I'm also thankful for a wonderful husband who's also my best friend in the world, a snug home, and many other blessings. I tend to worry about my troubles, big and small, but I can't deny that I have a ton of wonderful blessings.

(I've used the word "wonderful" three times in one post---well, if the shoe fits---!)

Your plan sounds wonderful. Also, I, too, am thankful for all of you. This has honestly been a glorious year for us here on MMC, thanks to all of YOU!

Tomorrow from 8-3....school

Tomorrow at 3:00- Thanksgiving 2011 begins!

Action packed day tomorrow and Wednesday. I have my schedule made out and I"m ready to go....I am so excited. Pretty much cooking non-stop from tomorrow until Wednesday around 5:00....I plan on nothing but cooking and reading posts for 1.5 days....

I'm so thankful for all of you....

Happy Thanksgiving, family.

Another rainy day, but that's not dampening our holiday spirit one bit! It's pie night tonight; after dinner I'm going to be baking pies for Thanksgiving. And cooking cranberries. Yum!
