******** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 12 *******

Good Morning, Dear Friends and a

happythanksgivingborder.jpg

to one and all!!

Yes, the rolling year rolls on.
We have passed Halloween, the start of the Season, and now Thanksgiving Day is here.

Mercy me!

And just look.
Our count is down to a single line!
Days to Christmas Day: 31 (ONE MONTH from TOMORROW!)

Wow. What a difference a day makes!
It was 67 degrees at this time yesterday.
Today, it was 45 when I got up to walk the dog.
Lots of wind yesterday. I hope it's calm today.
Cold is bad enough, but when you add wind........!

Allrighty, now.
The Macys parade is on!
I'm not real enthused about the various "shows" but I do always look forward to the Rockettes and of course Santa's arrival! At that point, the rest of the world catches up with us and regards itself as being officially in the Christmas Season.
(We know better, of course.)

OK, everyone.
May each and every one of you have a Thrilling Thanksgiving Thursday!
Don't eat too much.
(Remember, the leftovers you save may be your own!)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all that celebrate it, and have a great day to those that don't!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving day to all my American Christmas friends! Eat till ya pop! (well...hmmmm)
I work today. I'm at work right now. Our company caters to Americans. They call in and I help with their computers. Today will be dead. I'll be lucky to get 3 calls! I have my Ipod touch loaded with Christmas Vacation so I'm all set. Plus I have all you guys and MMC to keep me busy! Looks like we are going to Windsor this weekend to visit Mom and my Sister. I'll be putting up my Grandmothers tree and lights this weekend too! Probably my Moms as well! I finally found a radio station here thats playing Christmas music. Of course its fuzzy but I can hear it! Well to work I get. Have a great day all!

Watching the Macy's Parade ... Mr. had the wrong channel on, and there were two hosts who couldn't identify the tune a marching band was playing---it was "You're a Grand Old Flag." For shame! Now I've got the right channel, hoping for better hosting.

The Macy's Parade is always the same, but always different. I get a little teary thinking back to what it was like to watch it on the color set at my grandparents' house, munching on a little box of cookies ...

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We're having our private little turkey feast around 3. Blessings to all!

I only had one fired twinkie last night and it was filled with Pumpkin pie filling. Someone else said theirs had Cranberries. So it looks like Carl was trying to fill them with all of the flavors of Thanksgiving. Turkey Gravy doesn't sound like a good combo though.

Mine had pecan pie filling ... awfully rich (I got through half of it) but awfully good!

YESSSSSSSSSSS! It feels like the first installment of Christmas!!!!!! I LOVE THIS DAY!!!

You said it!

Just popping in to say Happy Thanksgiving! I'm just waiting for the Macy 'Day parade--I kind of miss when CBS showed a lot of different parades, though. But! I just love parades, so I'm fine!

I just called my mom--she sounds pretty good, considering. My sister took her over to the pound and Mom picked out a poodle, so now Mom's got a new friend. The dog doesn't have an official name yet, apparently! She's blind but gets around well, and is an older dog. Whatever the dog's name turns out to be, I'm thankful for her, because she's done wonders for my mom's mood. She'll be going over to my niece's house later today for Thanksgiving dinner. She sounded really happy to hear that I'm coming out, so I'm glad I'm going for her sake.

So, have a lovely day, eat as much as makes you happy, and enjoy the ones around you!

hi everyone
hope all is good and are you all tucking in lol
so am i lol

i wish
what a day i have had
For one day i decided to let the shop take care of itself as i piled the stuff in yesterday and decided to try and get some of the outdoor decor in place
bad idea !!!!!! the weatehr was not to bad to i had all pulled out and then the wind started and then the rain. try and put up airblown in the wind and rain really not funny i was trying to sort one part of the front and had to have then up to see where they looked best. we had to hold then and very so often the wind wood blow then againsted you and we ended up soaked as of course it was raining as well.
Managed to get then sorted enough have not the lights round the treems in that bit yet. so now it is dark and windy and raining .

Good afternoon everyone! Just dropped in for a minute to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Now I need to get back to my little food preparation and transportation venture. Have a great day!

I was at TSO last night, so I missed the game. However, I had my brother messaging me with updates. As soon as I arrived home, I watched the highlights and then youtube'd the Lucic vs. Gaustad fight... If you can call it a fight, at least. It just looked like a pure beatdown from Lucic! I loved it! Of course, I loved the other physical stuff, too. All the Bruins showed that they will stick up for each other no matter the cirucumstances. There is definitely a lot more toughness and unity on Boston than Buffalo, or any other team in the NHL for that matter.

Great to see the Bruins win their 10th in a row! Although the shootout had me worried, Pouliot had a beautiful snipe to win it!! Unfortunately, I will be at work for the Black Friday game against Detroit... I may listen to the audio. That is bound to make the afternoon go by much faster!

I watched the highlights also, the guys on NESN were joking around about the fight saying that it looks like Gaustad is shaking his hand as a way of saying "oh shoot, what did I get into with fighting Lucic," "...he looks bigger in a fight."

This team will beat you any way you want to play them right now. This could be another fun year.

I hate it when TV hosts, a job in which they get paid for, get facts incorrect. I remember watching a morning show about a decade ago when the hosts were talking about something in Massachusetts, and another host asked what is the capital of Mass. The co-host responded with "Springfield," and they all agreed needless to say, I turn that channel on just shake my head.

Happy Turkey Day!!

We have an hour until we leave, we are watching "Mouse on the Mayflower" a DVD I found years ago on Ebay it even has the original McDonaldland commercials from 1968 on it. The parade was great, watched it from beginning to end, except when I ran out to get the paper to read the super duper fantastic sale prices that Black Friday brings. Does anyone else get the chills when you see Santa at the parade? I do every year.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving, and if you are outside the US have a great day.

I will be getting up for 2am to go to work tomorrow, so I will see you all tomorrow.

:munch:

I'm so stuffed I can barely type. Now to watch some football.

Happy Thanks Giving my American friends. I hope Y´all gon have a beautiful day with your families and some great, great turkey!!!!!

well, I have to go and deliver the operation Christmas child boxes
occ-image.jpg

196 boxes ready to be delivered to the shipping center!
(this is in an 8 foot tall wheelchair van, just to give you an idea of how much space these occupied)
Took me and my son about 1 1/2 hours to load and then unload again when delivered.
So excited that our church was able to bless so many children this Christmas.
