Christmas Countdown - 2011

hey everyone! This is the first time I have been online in days. I have alot to catch up on. This year things are just so much different. I will be honest but it just does not feel like Christmas this year.. I don't know how to expain it,I feeel like I am going through the motions of the holidays but I cant believe it has already been a year and Christmas is here again! I have been so busy getting ready for the baby to come too. Just 3 weeks now! I talk to my family back home daily and my dad is doing well in the home we put him in. HIs goal is to get out by summer time and I think he will meet that goal. I hope everyone here is doing good. I miss being around so much like last year,but maybe I will get to be around more! Have a good night all!

The baby fawn was determined to be about 2 to 3 weeks premature so he was placed in an incubator to be kept warm and provided fresh oxygen to aid in development. All efforts were made to feed him after he refused to suckle from a foster doe and sadly the little fawn condition deteriorated and he did not pull through.

I actually got on here! I have been trying several times today, once I got to read some posts but when I went to answer, got booted off. Took me several tries to get on this time.

Ok I felt like being a little weird. But I am wired right now. And no sugar was not involved, just in a really really great mood. I got most all deco up and planning on getting more cookies done tomorrow. Sniff Sniff even though I cant eat them, but it is ok I like the smiles on peoples faces when I give them a big plate. and Mr. HJ likes having his batch all to himself (what a stingy grinch)LOL.

We went out for a few things and ate lunch at a D'Angelo's. Someone there has good taste in music: All Christmas, singers like Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Louis Prima ... it's the only sandwich shop I've ever heard playing "What Will Santa Claus Say (When He Finds Everybody Swinging)?" The sandwiches were good, too.

CS, that has happened to me on different computers, but I found a workaround. When you log in, next to the password box is a little checkbox that says "Remember Me." Try checking that checkbox when you log in. It works for me!

I am just stopping by to say goodnight. I am really feeling bad today as I have for the past several days with this cold. Right now I am just super fatigue.
Good news is, Wayne and I are going chill out and watch Muppets Christmas Carol together. We plan to watch Christmas movies and shows until we fall asleep.
I have a big day tomorrow with church and work so I hope I am better!

just sipping a bucks fizz, watching deck the halls and admiring the glow of my beautiful christmas tree.
it's been a tough year, i lost my precious grandmother in january, my wonderful auntie in june and my dearly loved cousin in november. my aunt and cousin were huge shocks with no warning, they were also far too young to go.
even though this has been a VERY challenging year, my christmas spirit is stronger than ever. i'm enjoying every second of the build up and look forward to 2012, it's going to be my year, i know it! at the very least it can't be any worse than 2011.... can it????

Good evening everyone! Say, I can't wait for tomorrow. I have Church, and then 3 concerts, but then I'm going to get online and come to the Christmas party. Meanwhile, I finally got my pictures from our Anniversary trip downloaded, and I'm off to share some with you. Then I'm going to watch "Christmas with Flicka". Love the music in that.
my brother went down to the States to take in some of your great sites...he was really surprised when coming up to Mt Rushmore from Canada, especially since this view of the mountain is not generally shown on pictures of the area.
