Me and snowball are about to go to bed..Brandi is sleeping in the babies room because she gets up so much that she thinks it will bother me although it does not. Snowball has to sleep right up underneath me too,one day our bed is going to collapse because of all the weight on it...he weights 125 pounds now,the vet says he should weight around 95 to 100..anyhow we are going to watch saturday night mysteries on the HLN channel..have a good night everyone I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Hello Christmas Family

it's been over a week since I posted in here. just alot of things going on in my everyday life that has me not in the so Christmasy mood. just wanna ask for prayers cause I truly believe right now my faith is being tested,HARD!!!

Long story short, my sister isn't going to be able to be here for christmas, we havent seen one another in 20 years. and my brothers wife left him after 4 and a half years of marrage and a almost 3 year old son. he is heart broken as all of us.I'm just numb. he couldn't figure out what he did wrong. and it's just so many things with this story................

on a happy note Hope the kitten is doing well and her leg is healing fine.


just keep me and my famly in your prayers please!

We went out for a few things and ate lunch at a D'Angelo's. Someone there has good taste in music: All Christmas, singers like Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Louis Prima ... it's the only sandwich shop I've ever heard playing "What Will Santa Claus Say (When He Finds Everybody Swinging)?" The sandwiches were good, too.

I love D'Angelo's! Steak and onion or Thanksgiving Toasted are my favorite sandwiches or as we call them around here grinders.

Hi everyone! I just thought I would check in real quick for the day. I've been really busy today...I baked cookies and spent time with my family, then went to church tonight and out with my family and parents.

DH and I are getting ready now to watch Christmas Vacation. We have a fire going and it feels wonderful. I am enjoying my weekend off soooo much, but it is going sooo fast!

I'm very excited for the Christmas party. I don't go to work until 11p tomorrow night, so I am going to particpate as much as possible.

I am a little behind on the countdown, but I a plan on getting caught up tomorrow. Hope you guys all have a great night and I will enjoy the party with you all tomorrow! :razz:

Thanks CM3!!! They went to the Seattle hospital yesterday for a check up and decided to stop the remicade infusions because of the reactions. Now they want to go back to the steroid injections (which didn't help the first time around and my niece reacted to them but not as bad as the remicade) or infusions of Orencia. They are going down to Portland for a second opinion next Friday so my sister is going to wait until then to make a decision.

I am still feeling a bit rough today and just laying around being a bum!

Thanks, CJ! It sounds like I am going to have chronic back issues, but hope I won't. My mom and dad both do too. My dad has already had surgery and my mom needs to have surgery. I just pray mine never gets that bad.

Glad to hear you got meds for your back. once the inflammation settlers down hopefully it will become a lot less painful. .does inflammation tablets not effect your stomach.? my mate was advised to take them with food or after food as they can annoy the linning of the stomach

Thanks, Shellie! Yes, I do have to take them for food. It can irritate my stomach. It also can make me drowsy, so I can't take them at certain times of the day, especially before going to work. I took one before bed last night and it's the best I have slept since I've been pregnant with DS! That's over a 1 1/2! Amazing meds!

Working today, but I am going to take it easy as I seem to have caught a bit of a cold last night

An evening of good movies! A Saturday evening of movies is always fun here. Had a good chat over in the MCR room at Christmas Chatter before that, while listening to the bottom end of the Top 100 on Christmas Chatter. Looking forward to dropping in on the party tomorrow!

Mine today was a toasted sandwich, steak and cheddar. We had a "buy one get one free" coupon, so we had a good and cheap lunch. The D'Angelo's on our side of town closed, so we have to go over into Framingham. The Quiznos closed altogether.

Finally feeling like I'm catching up a little and just about ready for Christmas! Still feel like I am late with everything this year and missed a lot of the season's festivities though, but just trying to enjoy every minute of it now!

hey everyone! This is the first time I have been online in days. I have alot to catch up on. This year things are just so much different. I will be honest but it just does not feel like Christmas this year.. I don't know how to expain it,I feeel like I am going through the motions of the holidays but I cant believe it has already been a year and Christmas is here again! I have been so busy getting ready for the baby to come too. Just 3 weeks now! I talk to my family back home daily and my dad is doing well in the home we put him in. HIs goal is to get out by summer time and I think he will meet that goal. I hope everyone here is doing good. I miss being around so much like last year,but maybe I will get to be around more! Have a good night all!

just sipping a bucks fizz, watching deck the halls and admiring the glow of my beautiful christmas tree.

it's been a tough year, i lost my precious grandmother in january, my wonderful auntie in june and my dearly loved cousin in november. my aunt and cousin were huge shocks with no warning, they were also far too young to go.

even though this has been a VERY challenging year, my christmas spirit is stronger than ever. i'm enjoying every second of the build up and look forward to 2012, it's going to be my year, i know it! at the very least it can't be any worse than 2011.... can it????

my brother went down to the States to take in some of your great sites...he was really surprised when coming up to Mt Rushmore from Canada, especially since this view of the mountain is not generally shown on pictures of the area.

hello Christmas family,

thank y'all so much for the prayers and words. it's been hard on me to be honest, cause I'm the one with the "brave face" and always trying to make everyone else laugh even when i'm hurt and upset on the inside. I've always done that and been this way. but tonight talking to some of my "Christmas family" on the chat here, and seeing my daughter get to talk to Santa............ that helped more than y'all know. so to everyone I say thanks........it means a lot, and more than y'all will ever know.
