Good Evening Everyone!
It's snowing here this evening! I decided to open my gift from my ornament partner this evening (d/d helped..*L) sending a BIG THANK YOU to Head Elf for the wonderful gifts! (Will post pictures hopefully tomorrow). A few changes in the work schedule so I go back in on Tues for five days. Been extremely busy and can't wait till Christmas and 5 days off! Weather pending I may do a little after Christmas shopping. So hard to pass up good deals! I hope to bake some cookies and fudge tomorrow after a couple of appointments I have to attend in the morning. Was hoping to make more baked good but not enough time this year. Have a great evening friends!

of course we will. its so hard at this time of year to get and harder again to keep the christmas spirirt when things around you are not right

Omg we are into the last week. part of me is feeling sad at that
I want so much to enjoy it . but at the same time i dont want it to come

I thiink this will be a very busy week and sure a lot of you wll be the same
I start today and leave out sweets for the customers and i have to laugh at then as 1 or 2 is not enough they have to take a handful. i bet i will get though 5 tins of sweets before sat
Went shipping yesterday and got a bit of stuff. my ham and some presents. will go again tomorrow night and get some more
Have 3 pallets this morning of toys.. i got 6 pallets at the right price.so i can selll them cheapest and i half price all toys on the day befour christmas so i will still be ok
Right i must go and get a cuppa and get the day started. you all take care. and will catch you later

I can't watch it live; I have to wait for the next day and then watch the programme (we get it the day after broadcast) or catch it on YouTube........

Wonder if Darlene needs plaid slipcovers.....???

Hi every one!
I woke up today and I realized that my 'to-do-before-christmas' is worth two weeks of work at least :D hahaha! I can't believe this is already my favorite week of the year, I'm planning to enjoy every little bit of it! :D
Just shopped every ingredient for my christmas cakes, will start making toppers today! :) what are you guys doing today?

Gosh, where did the weekend go? I didn't get much done because Mouse was quite sick. She is feeling better today - YAY!!!! The potato soup I made yesterday was yummy - it was based on a macaroni and cheese soup recipe I found in a magazine. Next time I make it, I will add beef bacon and garlic, maybe a bit of red pepper or carrot. Should be just right then!

I am working at home because I don't want to leave Mouse alone yet. A lot of glassware washing, some research, and a lot of tagging on my to-do list today. I hope to find the time to call in my greeting for the Merry Podcast, too. If I call when I log off, I will make a mess of things as I am still so tired - coffee needs to kick in big time! I slept quite well, just a lot on my plate right now. I am still fighting off a cold/allergy attack, too.

Later on tonight I plan on finishing Call Me Mrs. Miracle. It is quite different from the movie - so far, I enjoyed the movie far more. That is so rare!

Yes, as we approach the first day of Winter, mother nature is letting us know!
At least we should have lots of sun and little in the way of wind.
Currently, we stand at 31 degrees.

Just look at our count this morning:
Days to Christmas Day: 6
Meaning, of course, that we have passed UNDER a week away from zero hour.
My, My, My!

And with the knowledge the final work week before Christmas has begun, you will have no excuse not to have a Marvelous Monday, right?
 
Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!!! It looks like it's going to be a rainy couple of days here in central Indy. I'm glad were not getting the blizzard but an inch of snow would be nice. My plan for today is to head out and look for a new Christmas tree for next year. Target and Kmart went 50% off of their trees yesterday so I'm hoping they are not to picked over already. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
 
Yesterday morning I hit reply to a lot of your post and by the time I tried to reply I got knocked off the internet! It wasn't this site, my computer just kept getting knocked off the net!

Yesterday was super busy busy busy and I was not feeling well AT ALL so I never made it on here last night. Very busy today too! I will be okay though! :thumbsup:

To all who are sick and those who are not feeling the Christmas spirit, I hope you feel better soon!

I only read one post and that was as soon as I opened the countdown and it happened to be to me! So here is my reply to it: Made, I am glad there is a dishwasher now! Is it a dishwasher machine or did you recruit another MMC member as the dishwasher? :-D

I will try to get back on here later and catch up on the post. Have a Merry Day!!!!
