She did say it could possibly a raging case of tendinitis, or possibly a tear, but she never heard of that tendon tearing before.

The pop is what tells me that it's probably something worse than tendinitis. My mom was just squatting down to pick something up and when she stood up she heard a pop. It was the tendon on the outside of her foot rupturing. I don't think an X-ray is going to tell them much. They'll probably have to order an MRI to know for sure. Did you just go to your regular doctor? You should probably see a Podiatrist.


I'll be praying that I'm wrong.

Ugh. I bought a bag of those Sweetarts Hearts and I can't stay out of them! My mouth is raw from eating so much candy!

I need to have another surgery (hysterectomy) in a few weeks and Im really down about it. I hope to be posting on more of a regular basis again, I have missed you all!

Speaking for myself, no, the special feeling does not leave because I live it all year long. Christmas feels more special to me I think because I live it all year !! I just got an App for my Ipod that is just WONDERFUL !!! It is called Zen of Snow.....It is a cabin with candles in the window and there are carols playing. It comes with adjustable snowfall and wind and you can set it to day or night. The candles flicker and look really real and there is smoke coming from the chimney - It is a truly beautiful app and I plan on playing it several times this year because it makes the Christmas "feeling" more alive than ever for me !!

I went to work and lasted just over 2 hours, my foot is in too much pain. I have a Dr appt. at 5:30 tonight to see what is the issue.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful day so far. I met my cousin for some lunch before heading to classes this afternoon. My mom has an appointment tomorrow with the specialist to see if they can figure out what is going on. Probably won't know much unless she has tests done.

I think this has been the longest week of my life and it's only Wednesday!

Xmas365 - I will pray that you can have some relief and figure out what is going on. Hope it is nothing serious!

Good evening, MMC! Hope you're all doing well. Not much going on here right now. Just spending some time with my DH and the kids. I think I am going to head over to the Pines here shortly for quick visit, just so I can pop in for the week.

What is new with all of you? I have to work tonight, then I am off tomorrow. Yahhh! I work the weekend, plus Sunday...I haven't even looked to see when I am off next after that...I am half afraid too...haha. Hopefully I am off Monday.

Well, I guess since there is nothing else to report, I will head over to the Pines. Praying for all of you who need prayers. Talk to you all here later on before I head to work!

Thank you again for all of the prayers. Harlowe is at the vet now having more tests run. They think it could be Addison's Disease. At this point, I would welcome a diagnosis. Then we could make her better. I can't wait to get her back home later tonight. She will be prescribed some medicine to stimulate her appetite, so we can finally get her eating again, hopefully by tomorrow.

I got some really good news today, my latest biopsy came back "negative" for melanoma. Thank God for that. And thank you for all of your thoughts & prayers, they were such a big help! And such a comfort to me. xo
