I totally love ALL the Muppet movies!!! Thank you for thinking of me!!!

I watched A Muppet Christmas Carol last night and this morning I am drinking coffee out of my Christmas mug while my table top tree is lit up. Ahh... Life is good!

Johnor, go ahead and watch those Christmas movies! As you say, don't deprive yourself of happiness!

Seawaters, thinking of you!

Xmas366, I hope you feel better soon!

See you all at The Pines!

Goodnight everyone! I'm subbing in my favorite first grade class tomorrow but will try to check in before I go, unless I sleep in late.

Then I get to cuddle up with my boyfriend and watch a Christmas movie hopefully :))

Yes, yes, yes. Bullypup!!!

Iliam this is a great post, one that I'm sure most of us can in some way relate to. Outside of this site, I don't personally know anyone who loves and embraces Christmas the way I do. Most would call me a nutcase but that's ok. I wouldn't lose this feeling for anyone or anything. I respect the feelings of others but that doesn't stop me from enjoying, loving, and looking forward to Christmas it every day of the year. It's a feeling, a state of mind, not just a season. Thanks for sharing.

Been there, done that!!! I was VERY lucky that I NEVER had a hot flash!!! My daughter had to have a hysterectomy in her 20s when she had stroke as she was delivering my first grandchild. You WILL survive!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Season! Im down about Christmas being over and I know I havent been around much. I just posted a thread about what has been going on the past few months. I need to have another surgery (hysterectomy) in a few weeks and Im really down about it. I hope to be posting on more of a regular basis again, I have missed you all!

You guys had me laughing when I needed a laugh!!!

Yeah, we were just kidding around about politicians breaking promises. I actually don't consider myself a politician, since it's not what I do for a living. I started kidding around about getting the position, then I realized you all might be getting tired of reading me talking about it...

Then we stared joking around about it...

I thought the bolded part was funny, so I tried it out...

...and CAH continued the joke I started...

I hope no one misunderstood. CAH and I were just joking about politicians in general breaking promises, and there was nothing personal against me. CAH and I are too good of friends for anything like that to happen. It's pretty funny to me!

Hello, my name is Bradmac, and I am a Sweetarts Hearts-a-holic!!!

Ugh. I bought a bag of those Sweetarts Hearts and I can't stay out of them! My mouth is raw from eating so much candy!

I did the same thing when Sweetarts came out with Ducks & Bunnies for Easter and Christmas Bells at Christmas. Help me!!

Great post about Christmas, LB!!!

Yes, Life is GOOD CAH!!

iliam... Christmas for me has never lost it's magic (or its special feel) no matter how long or how much I celebrate it. I know it took a couple of years to "Break" my husband in. He didn't even put up a tree when he was single. Slowly it became special to him as well, to the point now we decorate the tree to Christmas Music and he LOVES the movie Christmas Vacation, he will even watch it in July, with me. As I said it took a little while, we have been together 11 years now. And I do not keep a lot of Christmas up, I have a special Santa (that he gave me), my English tea set of Santa, and an Egg Nog Set out all year. He has come to embrace my joyous expression of Christmas although in the beginning he was a little embarrassed, or overwhelmed by it. But now he says it just wouldn't be the same without your over-joyous expression of the Season. My endless planning through out the year, or my occasional flight of fancy when I talk of things Christmas.

What I guess I am trying to say is that your significant other may not understand your feeling or emotions of this season but give her time love has a funny way of making two people embrace what the other holds dear.

No, that special feeling will not fade or be lessened IMO because of your outward love of this season throughout the year, but only make it stronger and better.

Who knows maybe she too will one day embrace Christmas as much as you.

Wow, Carl sure is a Super Camel but who knew he was this SUPER... but maybe I should have known!!!

MsC!!! Oh my I figured with the little ones you were busy but this is different busy, I will be thinking of you and praying. I am not sure if I have magic words of wisdom but I do know it has helped two of my GF's, move on to a better quality of life. I will be praying for you.

SUPER DUPER MAYOR BRADMAC & SPIDER CAMEL TO THE RESCUE!!!!

Your excitement is so contagious!!!

Hello Christmas family! I've been missing for a while and I've tried to scroll through and see what's been up, but I have just been so busy lately! I did see that DAWG finally has a son - congrats to you and I hope everything is going well! Also glad to see another Penn State fan in jennifer! Yay for that! :)

DF and I have not even tried to take down our Christmas stuff yet! We have just been really busy, but he says we're doing it this weekend. It always makes me sad to put everything away, but it will be nice to have some space back in our house.

My last day at Hallmark was last week and while I'm sad to lose the discount (lol), I've been way less stressed since then. I think it'll really hit me in July when all the Christmas stuff will come in how much I miss my job. But at least I have some good friends that still work there that can help me cope with the "loss", haha.

I went to a bridal expo on Sunday and had a great time! We went there looking for photography, a photo booth, entertainment, and flowers. I ended up finding very good and very inexpensive entertainment and a photo booth, which just made my day! I also won free wedding photography on the day of my wedding (plus an engagement shoot, holy cow!) by entering a drawing and I am BEYOND excited! DF and I are meeting with her next Friday to hammer out the details and see her work, but this is going to save us SO MUCH MONEY! =D =D I really didn't think I would win anything, even though my bridesmaids signed me up for EVERYTHING there, so it was a great surprise! I'm hoping I can still win some other stuff because I don't think all the vendors have picked their winners yet, lol.

This week, I need to make more calls for vendor set-up appointments (we are going for food tasting next week, and booking a meeting with the entertainment and photo booth people from the expo) and finish the laundry that has now become a mountain! I'm really excited for next Saturday, as DF, our best friends, and I are going to the King of Prussia mall near Philly. Square foot-wise, it's the largest mall in America and second in amount of stores only to the Mall of America. We haven't been there in almost 2 years, so I am over the moon about going! Of course, in the midst of all that, our Christmas tree and decorations will come down, so I will need all the excitement and good news I can get!

Hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to be around more now that I'm back down to one job again. Also wanna shout out and say GOOOOOO GIANTS this weekend! :)

PLEASE, I CANNOT laugh anymore!!! It hurts!!!

These guys showed up at the Pines wanting Carl to join their little circus...thought they could bribe him with this cute reindeer.
Carl was tempted until they made the mistake of telling him that camels do not drink coffee or eat fired twinkies! Those guys can sure make a circus trailer move fast, must of been the angry camel trying to run them down!!

Bobby Rydell was one of my heartthrobs!!!

Excellent news on the melanoma!!! Take care of that sweet baby!!!

Good evening, friends~

I'm heading to The Pines, now!! Sounds like the party is in full swing!
Save me some food & drinks, and I'll need some of that strong coffee blend of Carl's for the trip back home!

Thank you again for all of the prayers. Harlowe is at the vet now having more tests run. They think it could be Addison's Disease. At this point, I would welcome a diagnosis. Then we could make her better. I can't wait to get her back home later tonight. She will be prescribed some medicine to stimulate her appetite, so we can finally get her eating again, hopefully by tomorrow.

I got some really good news today, my latest biopsy came back "negative" for melanoma. Thank God for that. And thank you for all of your thoughts & prayers, they were such a big help! And such a comfort to me. xo

Well, better stop typing so I can meet you at View attachment 1095 !!!!!!!!!!!!

Catch you all in a few!

Stacey

Update: I am SO SORE!!! After the biopsies (which took a little longer than expected), I had to have another mammogram!!! Talk about pain!!! Then I started bleeding again. So they hurried and took me back into the "surgery" room to stop the bleeding with, can you guess??? Super glue!!! You cannot imagine how much THAT hurts when it starts to dry and crackle!!! I will be sore for a few days and I should know something by Friday. My doctor is so good about that!!! I do have to tell you that I have had SUCH PEACE about everything, except the pain, of course!!! And I won't do the hand jive or charades for a long time!!! From the bottom of my heart: Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts!!!

Even though I took a long nap when I got home today, I am ready for bed. Good night, all. Xmas, take care. You, too, MsChristmas. Jennifer, keeping you, your mom, and your family in my prayers!!!
