Yes, Life is GOOD CAH!!
iliam... Christmas for me has never lost it's magic (or its special feel) no matter how long or how much I celebrate it. I know it took a couple of years to "Break" my husband in. He didn't even put up a tree when he was single. Slowly it became special to him as well, to the point now we decorate the tree to Christmas Music and he LOVES the movie Christmas Vacation, he will even watch it in July, with me. As I said it took a little while, we have been together 11 years now. And I do not keep a lot of Christmas up, I have a special Santa (that he gave me), my English tea set of Santa, and an Egg Nog Set out all year. He has come to embrace my joyous expression of Christmas although in the beginning he was a little embarrassed, or overwhelmed by it. But now he says it just wouldn't be the same without your over-joyous expression of the Season. My endless planning through out the year, or my occasional flight of fancy when I talk of things Christmas.
What I guess I am trying to say is that your significant other may not understand your feeling or emotions of this season but give her time love has a funny way of making two people embrace what the other holds dear.
No, that special feeling will not fade or be lessened IMO because of your outward love of this season throughout the year, but only make it stronger and better.
Who knows maybe she too will one day embrace Christmas as much as you.
