Good Morning, old Building and Loan pals of mine.

Is your weekend off to a great start?

You be sure and have a Sensational Saturday in the spirit of the Christmas Season, OK?

One of my brothers is in Costa Rica while we're experiencing the coldest weekend of the winter season. Hardly seems fair, but I know he's having a great time.

Christmas lights remain lit up at night in my merry neck of the woods!

Update: I have cancer in both breasts. First, I go for an MRI, then genetic testing of the tumors to see if they are "related" (NOT good) or independent. After that, surgery and radiation implants and finally chemo. My doctor is VERY confident. He told me, "I don't want to brag, but I am VERY good at my job and my cure rate is 5% better than the national average. He also said he thinks I will die of old age and NOT cancer!!! No wonder I have felt so calm!!! I appreciate ALL your kind thoughts, and your prayers have been WONDERFUL!!! Trust me!!! I told my daughter, but I won't tell my sons yet. Don't stop praying or sending positive thoughts!!!

Oh, Seawaters, I am so sorry you have to go through this fight, but we are here for you!!! I am so glad you have such a good doctor - he sounds absolutely wonderful!!! I will keep praying for you and am sending all the strength, positive thoughts, Christmas Spirit and big hugs that I can ((((((((SEAWATERS))))))))

Oh Seawaters....I was praying for so much better than this for you .....I guess I don't understand how prayer works..feel so much like I failed you...still praying though ......love you xoxo

CM3, you did not fail Seawaters at all. We don't always get the exact thing we pray for, but that doesn't mean our prayers weren't answered in some way. I know it is hard to have faith at times (trust me, I have had major doubts the past year!), but prayer does work. It provides peace and hope to those you are praying for and their loved ones, too, and it gives you something to believe in when there is nothing in your life that seems to be working. I am glad you are still praying!!! (((hugs)))

Seawaters, I will continue to say prayers everyday for you. You are such a strong woman. I have no doubt that your positive attitude will help you overcome this awful disease. I pray for the drs who are treating you. ((hugs to you and your entinre family))

Some days, I'm not sure how I do it either. I usually only have CVS on the weekends, but in the summer I work a lot extra

Good morning, MMC!

It is very cold out - and it is still snowing. I do believe winter has finally come. The thermostat said it was down to 59 degrees this morning - not bad for only using the Edenpure at night. I sleep better with cooler temperatures and I am not so stuffed up when I wake up - all good! There should be major savings, too, which is why we are doing this in the first place.

Today I am working, Christmas crafting, reading, doing a few of the decluttering tasks I did not get to earlier this week and listening to the Greasy Skillet later on this evening.

Have a MERRY day and stay safe and warm!!!!!!!!!!

So my 16 day weekend has started rough, I am going to go stir crazy over the next 2 weeks, you guys will get sick of me, I will be here quite a bit.
No way! We will enjoy your frequent visits!
William keeps pointing out houses with their Christmas lights still on. Its quite funny. He is getting as excited as I do. Well.
Don't you love it? My grandkids stay excited about everything Christmas all year long!

Pink gloves AND snow??? I will be there to help CAH!!!
Seems that Made had a plan for 2 people to show up and wash dishes! He did buy 2 pairs of gloves. You take the pink ones (supporting breast cancer) and I will take the purple ones! (I have a pair of purple ones at home I use all the time!)

Good Morning, old Building and Loan pals of mine.

Now that gave me a big smile! I LOVE when George runs down the street telling everyone and everything "Merry Christmas"! Even the wonderful old Building and Loans!

There is no such thing as failing someone by praying. I hate it when people say "well the least we can do is pray for you". No the most you can do is pray for someone. When you are praying you are tapping into the power of God. Unfortunately we live in an imperfect world, and things don't always go as we want. God has a plan for all of us, and we don't always know what that is.

I've been to Disney World and Disney Land. When I was at Disney World the second time, they didn't even have Sky Mountain or the Epcot centre built yet. My favourite memories include the Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, the Tiki Room, the Mad Hatter's Tea Cup ride, the parade and the hotel we stayed at. My least favourite part was the time I wasted trying to cheer up that gloomy old Eeyore. At Disney Land, many of the rides and attractions were similar, but I was a few years older and noticed more couples and fewer families in attendance.

I have been to Disneyland twice and Disney World twice. The first time I went to Disney World Epcot was there. My son was a baby and I was able to take him on just about every ride! (no roller coaster, of course!). The 2nd time we went to Disney World we also visited Universal Studios which was a lot of fun!

The one thing I like about Disneyland better is the weather is great in the summer compared to Disney World in Florida during that time.

Good morning everyone! Just getting back from the airport taking my inlaws back to catch thier plane. It's beautiful today. It was 26F when I left this morning,by the time I got back it was still 31F there is not a cloud in the sky and today the high temp will be 59f. Good afternoon,

I just got back from my visit to the foot dr. I am now in a walking boot aircast, I am to be out of work for the next 2 weeks, and I can't go back until after my follow up appt. It looks like I tore part of my fascia ligament away from my heel, if the aircast doesn't work, They will put me in a hard cast. I am so frustrated. :-?

Whoa dude...that sounds bad!!! I will certainly keep you in my prayers and hopefully you will recover fast!

tonight my beloved patriots are playing. Im very worried about the game. Unfortunately I have to work tonight, so I think I'm gonna miss most of the game. :(
