I don't think SIT could have said this better. CM3 - I think the most important thing is prayer. You didn't fail. In fact, you succeeded. We all can only keep praying, then God will answer our prayers, even if it isn't the outcome we were looking for.

I remember as a child praying for a horse and wishing for one on every birthday candle and the first star I'd see at night. Once I kidnapped the baby Jesus from the Manager scene in my room so I could get my horse. My brother told my God Mother that I had kidnapped the baby Jesus. She inquired and I told her that I prayed without ceasing and still didn't get my horse so I thought taking the baby would get me my horse. She told me that just because I didn't get the answer I wanted didn't mean God wasn't listening. Perhaps his answer was "No". The baby Jesus made is way safely back to my Manager display. I still don't have my horse, but it stands to reason since I live in the city.

good evening ya'll. well our day trip w/ my aunt & uncle are done. her daughter, my cousin, has a blown breaker. couldn't fix it while there today. hubby didn't have that stuff w/ him. now they have no heat since they have no power & it is so cold! bless their hearts. my cousin's daughter came home w/ her nanna so atleast she's ok. they have a few space heaters in place but they don't throw out alot of heat. hubby felt horrible about it, he's now worried but i told him not to, he told them exactly what to get & they'll be ok.
made potato soup for supper. i got the recipe from a coworker. i've tried hers & it's delicious. has very little milk & has bacon bits.
getting ready to watch Tebow! have a good evening ya'll!!

Sorry your plans didn't work out. Sure hope they have it repaired today so they don't freeze. I make a yummy potato 'n corn chowder and now I have a craving for it. Guess I'll make some next weekend.
