Not much going on here today, we sit at a balmy 6*F right now, winter, I think, is finally here winter weather is expected tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday. I am not going to be going anywhere with my booted foot. My wife is still sleeping, she deserves to sleep in since it's her last day off until Saturday.

Very strange "winter" weather we are having! Yes, we have mild winters but not like this! It will get near 80 later this week! In the 70's today! That is very unusual for January.
I am watching the local morning news. They were having a discussion as to when Christmas decorations should be taken down. The news guy said his lights outside are still up and he don't want to take them down. They are giving him a hard time about it. He said, I will just not plug them and no one will even know they are still up. They really get to picking on each other on there and keep giving this guy a hard time everyday about his lights. It's funny!

Just got into work. I'm feeling especially Christmassy this morning. Not sure why and because of this I have a challenge for some of you. If you have the day off today, and the time, I challenge you to watch a Christmas movie for those of us that can't. Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
My mom is still amazed at how quickly her chronic pain has diminished after her surgery. I'm so happy for her, I don't know what to do! She's at physical therapy right now, so she might not come home whistlin' today, but I think she's turned a corner.
My son and I went hunting yesterday afternoon, since it was the last day of the season, but we didn't really see anything. We walked up on a deer as were going to our hunting spot, and he ran off. At least we saw something!

It's been crazy here too. One day it is 50 and the next day it is in the 20's. We've only had 5 inches of snow so far and last year we had over 20 inches by this point.

well, my fridge is all shiny and clean again! Got rid of all the outdated and "that was a dumb buy" stuff.
My cat is bringing me more socks, whether I want them or not! What I would like to know is how she can meow so loud with a sock stuffed in her mouth?
Not going to work today, not feeling well. I am quite sure I got it from Lindsay since I have been there 3 days while she and her mom were sick. Nothing serious, really bad headache and no energy. Of course, if I would relax instead of cleaning, maybe it would go away.

Good afternoon, everyone! Hope you are all having a good day. It's a brisk 35 degrees here, with sun. I've been looking for snow, but there hasn't been any worth speaking of. Hopefully we'll have one good snow before Spring gets here.

If she continues to have anymore problems let one of us, crew members, know and we will see what we can do to help her get back on.
I just organized another kitchen cabinet. This one had all the seasonings and baking goods in it. What a mess! All the other cabinets were easy but this one took a little time. I am glad I got that over with. Now onto another project!
