Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It's going to be a cold but sunny day here in central Indy. I never did go to the grocery store yesterday so I'll probably head there today. I'll also be monitoring the weather north of seattle for sister. They got about a foot of snow yesterday and they could get another foot today. That will probably close down their town for at least a week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Door prize tickets will be issued and the one who holds the number 300 will be the winner.
Also, weather permitting, all the windows of the 'Pines will be thrown open in honor of the Milestone.
Oh, that sentimental Camel!

Has everyone heard about that cruise ship that turned over in Italy? I thought I had heard it all after the captain abanded ship and was arrested on manslaughter charges. That makes me so angry. Now I have read online that also grown men were pushing pregnant women and little kids out of the way so they could get off! I believe there is a special place in the afterlife for folks like that! i guess I will sound like my parents and say it's just a sign of the times we live in now. It's really hard to believe 100 years after titanic sank that a cruise ship can just take on water and sink like that. I sure hope that they find everyone that is missing. Last I heard it was 11 bodies found so far and a few dozen still missing. That story has haunted me this week and the photo's actually look photo shopped. I know they are real but it's looks so wierd,and they were actually so close to land. That is my rant of the day.. Have a great day everyone!

Pretty sad that's for sure. As far as people acting like that being a sign of the times, I don't know about that. I have heard stories about pretty much the same behavior in tragedies in the past, including the Titanic.

I had to meet with my principal this morning to discuss having someone take over my classroom while I have surgery, radiation, and chemo. It was really hard. I also have to get someone to take over After-School Intervention and Independent Study. Oh, well, I just can't do it!!! So somebody has to step forward!!!

I hear ya! You will not be able to take on too much. Get well first!

I told the secretary at our school that I was going to Wal-Mart to buy some hats in case I lose my hair. Today she brought in about a dozen hats that her mom (95 years old) has knitted/crocheted!!!

That is so nice of her!!!

My tree is still up but I think I am finally beginning to accept that I must take it down plus (and you are going to think I am really crazy) I took a video of my tree with my Ipod so I can look at it during the Summer and remember exactly what it looks like all decorated !!

It's not crazy at all! You know that video I posted on here? I watch it all through the year and get the Christmas feeling all over again. I think it's a great idea to video tape it!

I think I will skip lunch today and I will be nice and hungry for the fast tonight! I am craving turkey..I really could eat that once a or twice a week! Last night Jordan slept through the whole night from 11 pm toe 5 when I got up. He goes back to the Dr for his 2week visit friday. I weighed 6 pounds 6 oz when he was born,and now I think he may be up to 7 pounds. Still tiny though, I thought he was going to be around 9 pounds because Brandi was so big. luckily he wasn't though. I weighed 7 pounds even and I was 6 week early! I think brandi was little as a baby too. I think she was like even 5 pounds. She still is she has almost lost all of what she gained. Anyhow I can already taste the dinner tonight!!! I will take pics and post soon too.!

Wednesday ... a slow commute to the office, as usual in mid-week. I may be coming down with Mr.'s cold, but I'm trying to convince myself that I'm not. He's home sick again today.

I don't have messages for everyone, but I'm thinking of everyone, as usual.

Ah, hair loss---sometimes funny (the hair-burgers that form over your shower drain), sometimes a pain (itchy wigs). You can get a bunch of cheap wigs and change your look every day! They itch, though, so those hats from your secretary will come in handy. When my hair was falling out, I was tempted to stand up at the office, scream "I can't take it anymore!" and pull out two big handfuls of hair just for effect. Didn't have the nerve to do it, though. cheesy

Good 300 day morning,

Blustery cold when the wind is blowing this morning, we live on the side of a mountain and when it whips down, brrrrrrrrrr! Another day I will be taking it easy, my foot is feeling a little bit better, I can put a little weight on it barefoot which is progress, but I have my boot on now though. Not much else going on, just daytime TV is dreadful. I may have to put in a Christmas movie.

Oh that just sound delectable! Makes the Pines sound that much better.

300, wow it's going quick. So excited! If this is how fast it's going to go, it's going to be a great year! Once October comes it'll just need to slow a bit. Yesterday was crazy busy at work so I'm hoping it'll slow a bit today. So far it's looking good.

Hope your milestone is Merry and can't wait for the pines. Have a great day everyone.

Have to run and get ready but I wanted to thank you all for the prayers for my mom. She got a call this morning and was told that she has an infection so it most likely is not bladder cancer. If the infection doesn't go away after taking the antibiotics for a few days, then they will run more tests to see. But if it goes away, then all is good!

So I finally got around to watching the videos from the contest. They were so great and really REALLY put me in the mood. I think right after the "big day" I get such bad PCB's that I sorta go numb to movies and music. The music selection was so good and seeing others in the spirit just made my day so thank you for that!:celebrate:

nice, relaxed day today, cleaning and sorting and drinking plenty of coffee.

weather in england is freezing! it's been really frosty and misty for the last week, it was really mild in december and i hope we get the weather we are having now in december 2012, it's more festive.

Good afternoon, dear Christmas family !

In about an hour I start work. I never realized how hard it would be to get 8.5 hours in every day, espcially when time for a dinner break (which I don't take) is being taken deducted automatically. I am usually not done until around 11 each night and I start at 2 p.m. I a fortunate though, my company gave me a gift card as a present for Christmas!! I do not know many companies who still give employees anything at Christmas any more and this is the FIRST ONE EVER who has given me a gift since I have worked at home.

My lungs are being a little on the "rattly" (spelling ??) side ......It seems all this up and down with the temperatures is affecting my asthma. So far my inhaler is handling it.

I finally downloaded Angry Birds !! I got Angy Birds Seasons !! OMG it is SUCH A HOOT !!! ......For anyone who plays this game.....Am I hearing the birds sometimes say "ouch" ?? They are too funny ! I now have three games on my Ipod, Angry Birds Seasons, Animals versus Zombies and Plants versus Zombies. Actually Animals v Zombies is a direct copy of Plants v Zombies..Dont know how they are getting away with it ! The zombies are not gory or gross and actually comical. I don't think I could play one of those games where the zombies look like Night of The Living Dead....too creepy !!!

Does anyone here know anything that helps skin conditions such as psoriasis ?? I have a patch on my arm and feel like a total freak !! I know there are prescription meds but I would rather stay away from most of them as their side effects sound worse than the psoriasis !!

I am still waiting for my copy of The Time Life Book of Christmas .....It should be here this week I hope !

It's very mild---I'm feeling a little rundown, and one half of my throat is sore (weird). My co-worker gave me a packet of Emergen-C that I'm drinking, and I had some lemon-ginger herbal tea with honey and lemon this morning. I'll probably have tea with honey and lemon this afternoon. Hoping maybe it isn't a cold, although Mr.'s started out with a sore throat. Thanks to everyone who's wished me well in their posts!
