I had to meet with my principal this morning to discuss having someone take over my classroom while I have surgery, radiation, and chemo. It was really hard. I also have to get someone to take over After-School Intervention and Independent Study. Oh, well, I just can't do it!!! So somebody has to step forward!!!

I have already told my mother that if I have a special needs child, I will go to the ends of the world to make sure they are treated properly, and if that means steering clear of the local children's hospital that is a conveince to me, I would do that

You know it cannot be an easy position, I know I could not be in that persons shoes. You know it is so true my GF has a special needs DD, and it isn't easy, but her DH and her family all work together to make it as pleasant as they can for her.

Do you like NASCAR and-or baseball? I love both Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson I like, and yes I LOVE the Yankees. But I think I am going to watch D. Patrick in the #10 car this year.... we will see....

I have the original and the seasonal, they are fun. Funny thing is not too long ago, I didn't even know what Angry Birds was. My wife and I saw some of the stuffed angry birds, and I said, what the heck is an angry bird, LOL.

I was like that too this past Aug we purchased this thrive tablet and the sales men helped me "find" my way to the App and the rest is history!!!!

Isn't that an awesome thing, just like that we hit a milestone, just all of us together keeping Christmas and the planning of yet a new season just a mere 300 days away YAY!!!

Sorry, Meceka. I honestly didn't expect the cat to jump in the water. I thought he'd run off with a fright, and maybe not return to my yard to poop in it for a while. I chase them out of my yard, and they keep returning.

I did get a chuckle from it, but only because they have turned my yard into a big litter box. You can smell it around the pool in the summertime. They sleep on my porch and pool furniture, walk on my vehicles, and relieve themselves in my yard. My kids can't even go out barefooted in the summer...in their own yard.

Either way, I obviously offended you, and I'd rather live with the cats than to think I offended any of my friends here. Please accept my apology!

Bradmac that was so nice to reach out like that, being that I have two kitties and have a love of them, I can also feel for you, my neighbors cat sprays by my one side my one cat Callie has even fought with him, I have asked and pleaded, but she still lets him roam, I keep mine on leashes, I know that might sound weird but I would be devastated if anything happened to them. I know I have issues tee hee, my other neighbors says I give new meaning to the crazy cat lady saying, LOL.

Oh some explanation after i read my own post and got confused of it (I am often not very clear ) Before february start i have to have finished my 'pre-master' which is half a year of extra education for wanting a Masters Degree in International Relations. So now i need to finish an extra thesis, and some exams and then hopefully i get to start this master-degree education in february, but i have lots to do you see...

Kerstig, oh you do have a full plate, good luck but I am sure you will be just fine, Shellie posted great advice take one day at a time pace yourself and soon you will have everything done.

Take a stepback your get there. take it one day at a tme and do what has to be done 1st.

Shellie that is awesome advice - I know sometimes I feel like Kerstig but one day at a time and plan what needs to be done now and what can be completed later. Thank you

I am having one of those I miss my Christmas tree days. :-o

Yeah I have them too, it helps me at these times to start my light planning now, like do I use multi lights or go with just red and green, last year was all clear...

Busy day at the office today---I'm sneaking in a visit. Mr. went to see the doctor this morning. The doctor prescribed some medication for his cold and cough, then Mr. spent the day at home. This cold REALLY hit him hard; he pulled something in his chest from coughing so hard. I hope the medicine boots it out of his system. It's hard to see him suffer with it. We had about an inch of snow overnight, but it all melted away during the day, and now we're expecting rain.

Re the Angry Birds addicts---should I get the app? Or should I resist the addiction? I've been resisting it so far. I've been playing cribbage and several kinds of solitaire on my Kindle Fire, and thinking of getting Scrabble and

Oh I do so Ike the Angry birds but scrabble is good too, I play them on the train ride home, I say get Anhry Birds it is a cute fun game

I told the secretary at our school that I was going to Wal-Mart to buy some hats in case I lose my hair. Today she brought in about a dozen hats that her mom (95 years old) has knitted/crocheted!!!

Had been eyeing an originally $160.00 unlit tree at k-mart....went down to 90% yesterday and got the last one for 15.99 when i stopped in on my way to work.....normally not in the buying mood for the clearance stuff, but couldn't pass that up......is much bigger than the old one so I will have to buy some new stuff for it. The old prelit one didnt last but a couple of years....dont want to go down that road anymore!

Good evening,Christmas family !!

It seems like forever since I have posted in the countdown. I guess it was really only a couple of days ago. Right now I am listening to Music Choice Classical Masterpieces -A composition by Leopold Mozart is playing. I must say, his son was so much more talented !!

It went from 53 today down to in the 30s by 7 p.m. A crazy Winter for sure. The poor earth just doesn't know what to do anymore. I sure hope winter normalizes soon - all these up and down temperatures is a way to become really sick fast !!

There is nothing new here. Just my schedule change. I have to work 8-1/2 hours Mon through Thursday, off Friday, Work 6 hours Saturday then off Sunday.....This is one old dog who isn't learning new tricks very well !! :-o

My tree is still up but I think I am finally beginning to accept that I must take it down plus (and you are going to think I am really crazy) I took a video of my tree with my Ipod so I can look at it during the Summer and remember exactly what it looks like all decorated !!

January is finally starting to get to the end !! In no time the new Hallmark ornament books will be out ! I think in March maybe ?? My sister and I are already discussing going to the ornament premiere !!! That makes me feel better already. I got another app for my Ipod. This one is a virtual candle (looks really REAL) with Christmas carols playing in the background and verses of Scripture on the screen. It is so beautiful. The carols are all sacred carols. It gave me so much peace that I fell asleep this morning with it running. It is just awesome and It was only 0.99 !!
