Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I can't believe I missed the Pines on Rudolph Day! I looks like a good time was had by all, as usual. Carl and his cousin came speeding by my house late last night in that white car. Since I'm the mayor, I told the policeman to let them go...they were only high on Christmas spirit!

I watched Red Riding Hood last night. It was a pretty good werewolf movie! You didn't know until the end who the wolf was. And they threw in some phrases like "Grandmother, what big eyes you have!", and "I'll huff and I'll puff...". No, the wolf didn't say that. Ha!

I'm making plans to work on my deck again this weekend. Yes, I know. I worked on it all last summer and it's still not completely finished. I'm planning to put water faucets and electrical outlets on all four corners, then put lattice around the bottom. I hope to add shrubbery this spring.

Then Nancy and I are finally going to go out for our anniversary. It was in November, but our daughter was born on our anniversary, so we don't get to go out at that time. Then the holidays are upon us, so we have to wait a couple months. We don't mind, though. Our daughter was the best anniversary present ever!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is a wet day here in central Indy with a mixture of rain and sleet this morning. I have to go with my sister to pick up 202 cases of girl scout cookies this morning so I hope the rain stops soon. I also forgot to get light bulbs at the store yesterday so I need to stop and pick some up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, MMC!

I have my very first exam of the semester this morning in Statistics. I am a little anxious about it, I hope I do well!

I am sure you will do fine, maybe those 2 clowns will ask your professor too many questions again and you won't get to take the quiz. cheesy

Made, how did the burning of the jersey go? I went after marshmallows to cook over the "jersey fire" and just didn't make it back in time! =)

It was great!!!!! I dumped a whole bottle of lighter fluid on it and the flames had to be at least 30 feet high.

Good morning,

Just sitting here watching Home Alone, and watching the clock, JP only has a half day of school so I have to pick him up early and then run to my job and pick up another LOA packet in case my Dr appt. doesn't go as I hope tomorrow. I slept like a rock last night, I woke up around 6:30 and quickly rolled over to wake may wife up but she was already getting ready for work, I didn't even hear her alarm go off. The Pines must have wore me out last night.

Have a good Thursday!

:wiggy:

Okay Some one is in trouble!!!!!! I was wore out after babysitting my niece's this afternoon and fell asleep in one of the hammocks by the fire pit. when I woke up I discovered this-

ne-patriots.jpg

I've been told it's just a temporary tattoo and that it should wear off after the super bowl is over.
oh my, it is nice looking, but if you do not like them then it is not nice! Try some nail polish remover, may help...might remove some skin though so be careful.

Good a.m. my mc family!!!! wake up, wipe the sleep from your eyes, & lastly for those w/ "hangovers" this morning from the pines, carl sent some aspirin to the medical unit for ya'll!
i enjoyed my afternoon off yesterday but they never seem to be long enough, hmm.
it was gorgeous here yesterday. the sun was shining & the temps had to be in the 60's. really nice. sadly today rain is suppose to come in & stick around through tomorrow. hey they say we need rain so i guess that ain't bad @ all.
hubby & i are working lots of hours right now. him more so than me as his days are longer than mine. we had a couple of things break & had to be replaced last fall, so we are focusing in on paying those things off. i just can't stand extra debt if i can help it. that was a redundent (spelling) statement. i don't think any one has debt if they can help it, duh!
anyhoo, off to the shop this a.m. boss is gone SKIING so all the yuck stuff falls on me till she gets back. ya'll have a great day & i'll see ya'll tonight!!

ohhh, stop yelling, I'm up already!! LOL
yes, no debt is a wonderful thing.
Have fun at work

Good to see you here in full force again. I have missed Ernest's appearance in your siggie!!!

Welcome everyone! Its good old thursday again. Wow what a party at the pines! Carl was giving out free pine air fresheners! Always something good at the pines! My schedule has been changed. Thats why I havent been on for a while. But fear not I am here now heh! Not much new with us. The neighbor across the street still has his Christmas lights on. William notices them every time and lets me know. We had a light dusting of snow last night. Its not going to stick around because it will be changing to rain this afternoon. Boo urns for rain. Its been a mild winter here but I still want a big snow storm. Well I better get going to work now lol. Work always gets in the way eh? Hope everyone is doing well and feeling well. Prayers to all!

Can you repost the initial info on this???

It was a splurge for sure and not something I can afford all the time, just had a little extra money when we got it. I seriously hesitated when I thought about getting it but Wayne insisted I go for it. With that kind of money I am glad it is a sturdy machine. I love to make fresh veggie/fruit juice and this is the only blender that can just downright pulverize the whole vegetable and fruit into a juice and WOW, it makes awesome smoothies and ice cream and I can make healthy versions of them! I had bought a Jack LaLane Juicer at one time but it threw half the dang veggie/fruit out and left very little juice. They demonstrated a lot more stuff it can do that I haven't tried yet. I am like you, however, if I feel I am not going to get my moneys worth, it's just not worth investing into it. I have used it a lot, everyday during the warm weather and plan to drag it out again soon! Maybe today! =)

Nevermind, CAH. When I saw your first post on this, I was thinking the same thing as Xmas and thought it was a joke!!!

Xmas, love your furbabies!!!

Seeing all this talk about Vitamix made me think of something:

So THAT'S why I wake up in the hospital every time I try to save time by drying my hair while I'm in the tub!

Oh, my!!! Carl was so attentive last night. He even wore pink in my honor. Thanks for the bonfire, Made. Off to school I go!!!
